Yesterday Louis Koo, Raymond Lam, Shirley Yeung, Koni Lui, Evergreen Mak, Mandy Wong, etc. attended the TVB Most Popular TV Commercial Awards 2012. Louis was presented with the "Most Popular Actor Award". He was grateful that the director of that commercial (Samsung's Galaxy Tab) gave him the freedom to develop on his own and the Korean female lead taught him some Korean. When speaking of their hugging scene in the car? Louis said it was requested by the director and stressed he didn't exchange phone numbers with the Korean female lead.

It's been a long time since Louis came back to TVB, asked if he'll be shooting a TVB series again? Louis said: "I still owe them a 40 episode series. Put it on hold first! (Hold until you become a veteran actor?) I hope I'll be retired by then, just keep it on hold! In fact, I have always wanted to outline a TV series different from today's average series, but then can't be too different because Hong Kong audience are still family oriented and won't understand." When asked if he's referring to Master of Play being too different? Louis stressed he didn't say that. Perhaps he'll shoot a Ricky Wong series? He stressed again he still has a contract (per series) with TVB.

Raymond Lam HK Coliseum concert in January

Raymond reveals this summer he won't be holding a concert like in the past few years, instead he'll be holding one in January 2013. He admits he hoped to continue the summer concerts, but felt the most important is to have enough preparation time. Late January is Chinese New Year, Raymond is not worried about the ticket sales being affected by people out on vacation. He's also thankful for fans support over the last few years.

He reveals he'll be recording the last half of his newest album. Earlier he took over 1,000 pictures for the album's cover, each and every picture was taken by him. He had some pictures of him both dressed and undressed, very lifestyle-like. When speaking of TVB series Master of Play's declining ratings (down to 22 points), Raymond believed its related to the fact that HK audience do not like watching serious and deep dramas. When asked if he feels lucky that producer Jonathan Chik didn't ask him to take part in the series? He said he collaborated with him many years ago in Blade Heart.

Yesterday Louis Koo attended the Jimmy Choo's opening ceremony. At the entrance, Louis suddenly got a 'surprise attack' from a girl in a short dress. The girl went towards Louis, grabbed Louis' arm and leaned towards him, while the girl's friends were on the side taking photos. The surprised and clueless Louis didn't know how to react to the situation and it took him a moment to register that this is awkward, then he stepped aside. In the end, the girl was pulled away by the security. Later, Louis was asked if he often gets approached by girls like that? He said with shock: "Huh? I really don't know how to react! One time when I was promoting in Beijing, there were two very excited female strangers that called my name and even then I immediately charged into the car. The two girls were very pretty though, it was only when I got in the car that I thought to myself why I reacted like that? Perhaps I come in contact to too many people at work, so I'm afraid of strangers. (Afraid of rumors?) No, I just feel alarmed. If they weren't so enthusiastic and wanted pictures with me, then that's fine." He also reveals when he was in Korea and other foreign countries, he has met very enthusiastic male fans too. Louis said he just doesn't know why he's getting surprise attacks from both male and females.

The Raymond Wong Pak Ming produced 2012 Lunar New Year film ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL 2012 (BAK SING PO HEI) yesterday held a press conference in Sheung Wan. Actors Donnie Yen Chi Tan, Sandra Ng Kwan Yu, Lynn Xiong (Hung Doi Lam), Kelly Chen Wai Lam, Louis Koo Tin Lok, Chapman To Man Jat, Jeremy Liu (Lau Chi Chin) all appeared in costumes. Ah Jat's look was almost exactly the same as Peter Chan Ho Sun. Kwan Yu immediately embraced him and played a couple. She also appeared with a three inch career line and became the focus!

Kwan Yu later explained that she played a past her prime singer who was too lazy to work and only looked for boyfriends. Thus she displayed her career line in hopes of attracting more men. Chi Tan played a downtrodden rock singer. Because they were both singers, song and dance were inevitable. Kwan Yu said with exaggeration, "We have many costumes and have to sing and dance. We are very exaggerated. In one scene we have to dance an Indian dance. I kept twisting in platform shoes, finally I was injured and had to see a doctor. I was in pain for two weeks! I never thought that Chi Tan aside from strong kung fu also was an amazing dancer!" Chi Tan added that as soon as that image went out even Ronald Cheng Chung Kei would be out of work. Actually at first when he learned that he had to work with Kwan Yu, he wanted to go wilder and all out more, but Kwan Yu sensed Chi Tan's initial nervousness as if he was afraid that she would improvise at any moment. After the second day he was like a different person. Chi Tan said, "On the second day I began to blow up, I overlooked all dignity. I even had to pole dance in one scene1"

Kelly and Goo Jai played a couple. Because photographer Kelly came to look for construction worker Goo Jai to model, Kelly joked that on the third day of the shoot she has already seen Goo Jai in all his glory. Now she was somewhat not used to him wearing clothes. How was his figure? Kelly joked, "It's great! I used it with a pen, it's real! Indeed he has some training, he's very hard working!" Goo Jai honestly said that at first he was a little embarrassed because he never thought that he had to be constantly naked. Earlier he played Tarzan in the forest and only wore a piece of leopard print cloth. Did he have to wear a thong? Goo Jai helplessly said, "I still have a Mr. Hong Kong look that I haven't shot yet. I don't know what it will be like, I don't want to think about it! (Do you have to train your muscles?) No! (Are you confident?) I haven't shot it yet, luckily Kelly won't be there!" Kelly then joked that she had to bring a group of friends to visit the set to support Goo Jai.

Speaking of Ricky Hui Koon Ying's sudden death at home from a heart attack, Kwan Yu praised that he was a nice person and a great actor. She sent her condolences to his family. Goo Jai and Kelly have not worked with him before. Kelly said that because he was only 65, she felt it was quite a regret. As for his deepest impression, Goo Jai said, "MR. VAMPIRE. Back then my FANTASIA (GWAI MA KONG SEUNG KUK) was based on the Hui Brothers."

Earlier Louis Koo was suffering from a leg injury, but last night he finally was out of crutches and appeared at a fashion show as the model. However without crutches, Louis was clearly walking slower than usual, he expressed it actually feels weird not having to wear a leg brace. As for Sonija Kwok, who once had rumors with him after shooting a series together, recently got married. Louis expressed it has been a long time since he's been in touch with her. "I want to congratulate her here, hurry and have children! (When will it be your turn?) Never thought about it, leave it to fate, no rush. In this industry, we are so busy that we don't even have time to rest. I fear I'm so busy I won't even have time to go in for physical therapy." he continued and said he will have to wait until February of next year before he could shoot action films again. Asked he could do bed scenes now? He laughed: "We'll have to see how big the movements are, if it's necessary for the story, I don't mind."

Louis Koo and Jennifer Tse attended Samsung's cell phone event. Louis' leg injury remains unhealed as he appeared at the event in crutches. He said he does physical therapy 45 minutes a day, including walks and stretches. He is hopeful to be out of crutches within two weeks, Louis said: "I have to shoot two films in October, and they need to be completed by the end of the year. One of the films is a cop and robber movie, I play a thief with brains, so not many action scenes." He said the doctor didn't ask him to stop drinking or anything, so it's nothing too serious. Recently, a reader exposed Louis went all the way to France to marry a girl named Kashi? Louis helplessly laughed: "I will not respond to facts that are untrue." Asked when the facts (marriage) will be true? He said: "I want to know too, but not many people ask me. My family and friends aren't rushed." Does Louis have a girlfriend now? He smiled: "I don't comment on my personal life."

Last year following Louis Koo's torn ligaments on his right leg, he suffered from a relapse from past injuries and even his wrist suffered from a calamity. Louis was forced to put all his work on hiatus indefinitely. In a short period of time, he lost nearly 10 million of income! However, Louis understands the principle that you cannot earn all of the money in the world and health is the most important. He definitely doesn't want to be a 'crippled millionaire'!

(The rest is Louis Look speaking...)

It is inevitable for injuries when shooting a movie, I believe we all remember that I underwent surgery on my leg to repair my torn ligaments. Actually the doctor already warned me before the surgery, "If you are a civilian, I don't recommend you do this surgery because it is only after the surgery that you will truly understand what 'crippled' is." As I had to deal with all of my future action scenes, I insisted 'a quick clean cut'. Half a year after I was discharged from the hospital, of course I couldn't budge, even if its just normal walking, I had difficulty. I felt so useless.

Cancelled all activites

Just when I'm back to my normal life, a week ago my mother invited friends and relatives over to our house and offered them slippers and hot tea. When they all left, they didn't put back the slippers in their original places. In the evening when I came home, I didn't notice the. misplaced slippers all over the floor, I stepped on one, slipped and fell. I knew I was in trouble when the pain couldn't compare to before, and the results confirmed that the problem went for an 'extension' to the meniscus! Also I had my wrist injury, so I was forced to put all my work on hiatus, and rest at home. I am still currently waiting for more detailed reports. As it is inconvenient for me to walk, I already cancelled all of my public activities and business trips. For the meantime, it is probably around next month that I will start considering step by step of my return to work.

No matter what the report says, I know in the short term, it is impossible to rely on surgeries to win back my freedom to move. Regarding my surgery last time, the doctor put a few fiber nails on the 'perfect points' of my two knee caps and then I will have to wait until they completely dissolve. If I have to do another surgery, I will at least have to wait for another year and a half first! This time the injury involves the meniscus, which is tentatively estimated to have cracked. The current medical knowledge have not advanced enough to be able to get to the root of the problem. All will have to rely on natural healing. Thinking optimistically, there are some goods from this setback because I now know more about the human body and structure, haha.

Doing charity does not hang on the side of mouth

This time, I got a surprised vacation, allowing me to have more time at home to read books, watch DVDs and drink 'Mrs. Koo's lovely soup' (referring to his mother). I completely enjoy my privacy, minor illnesses really is happiness! Now that I have experience from leg injuries, the doctor has already recommended before that I add some medical equipment in my house, such as crutches. This time, I was able to conveniently grasp them for this emergency, it came in handy. My everyday life is, however, inconvenient because my wound cannot come in contact with water, so every time I take a shower, it is very time consuming to do all the preparations.

Thanks to all my friends who have comforted me, the most I've heard is probably "You cannot earn all of the money in the world, pay more attention to your health". This is a principle I understand too, many of my jobs thus had been postponed and also for health, I even have a new life experience. In the recent year, I established my very own charity foundation, in attempt to spread the spirit of love to myself and others. The main purpose is to help children in disastrous places. Earlier, I visited them several times and began to have a deeper understanding of their needs, like for example, children need schooling, medical care and good hygiene. The foundation also helps the places in poverty to repair roads and drains, in attempt to help them to lift themselves out of poverty. In fact, I am often doing charity work, but it's just I don't like to have it 'hanging on the side of my mouth' (keep mentioning it), nor do I want any high-profile actions.

Michelle Ye (Yip Shuen) is paired up with Louis Koo Tin Lok in OVERHEARD 2 (SIT TING FUNG WON 2). Because in the film Yip Shuen had to go to prison at the hands of her on screen husband Goo Jai, she had to interpret the struggles between love and pain. Yip Shuen's "ability to cry" stunned Goo Jai, who could not help but praise "the Old Lady"!

This was not Yip Shuen and Goo Jai's first collaboration, and the most important to relationship scenes were chemistry and spark. In the film Yip Shuen had many crying scenes. Her tears seemed to flow like she had a tap as she cried on cue. No wonder people on the set made fun of her as a natural crybaby. Even Goo Jai said that he was no match for her.

Yip Shuen humbly said, "Anyone else in this character would be able to cry, so it's just that the directors' story is good. Of course, co-star is very important. Goo Jai is able to bring me into character." Yet this time she only worked for a few days. Although Yip Shuen said that her acting bug had its fill, she honestly said that it was not enough. She looked forward very much to working with Koo Tin Lok again. She said, "I am happy to be a part of OVERHEARD 2; but it was just a few short days of acting. If I have the chance I of course would like to work with Goo Jai."

Goo Jai said, "Although I didn't have too many scenes with Yip Shuen, those scenes required proper handling. I had to express the source of our relationship. My favorite scene was bringing Yip Shuen home. We had to talk about our feelings over the years and led up to the final break up. The scene wasn't long, and I didn't have too many lines, but we had to express our helplessness. This scene left a very deep feeling with me."

Sammi Cheng and rumored boyfriend Louis Koo are collaborating again. The two will be starring in Director Johnnie To's new romantic film. The day before, Media Asia Film Company's boss Peter Lam, Chairman John Chong and actors Michael Wong and Wilfred Lau attended the opening blessing ceremony. The group then went to a place 4000 meters above sea level and certainly has a sense of danger.

Sammi expressed that she's already mentally prepared to start more rumors with Louis: "There will definitely be these types of rumors, I'm already mentally prepared. Spread the rumors!" It was said that this film hindered her and Andy Hui's reconcile, Sammi said: "This is all just reports, it is their own business." Asked if she will talk to Andy about it? She said: "Nope, nothing to say!"

In the film, Sammi plays a truck driver from Hong Kong residing in Mainland, and accidentally encounters superstar Louis Koo by chance. In the past, Sammi had an asthma attack when she was filming up in Mt. Emei, this time going 4000 meters above sea level, she said: "I am not too worried, leave it to God! I heard that doing more exercises makes it more difficult to handle high mountains. I usually do a lot of exercises, so I am more worried about this." She expressed that in the recent years, she has been controlling her asthma well, and has better health compared to when she was younger. Earlier Johnnie To teased that Louis is a 'weakling', worrying him. When Sammi heard this, she laughed out loud: "I feel that he really is weak, I will protect him!"

Johnnie teased that Louis had weak health, Louis refuted: "He's just joking, I am more worried about him!" Asked if he'll be Sammi's local envoy? Louis felt that all the staff gives the best care, wouldn't be good if there were any accidents. When speaking of his rumors with Sammi, Louis said: "I don't care about any rumor, what's important is good acting, professional work, those are my responsibilities." It has been 7 years since they collaborated, Louis hopes that this time there will be even better results. Louis drew from his experience from the last trip to Mt. Emei, this time he will be fully prepared carrying oxygen essential materials.

In the Lunar New Year film All Wells, Ends Well 2011, Louis Koo plays a feminine makeup artist. There was a scene where the TV station he works for invited a new model JJ Jia and he had to help her do the makeup. In fact, they just wanted to test Louis to see what his sexual orientation is. Louis wanted to show the God-level makeup artist power, so he first touched JJ before doing her makeup in hope she can relax. But the TV station purposely pulled a trick on Louis to test his ability and then he had to touch JJ's chest, making Louis become 'stiff'.

The fortunate Louis expressed: "The scene was about the TV station wanting to see if I'm straight or gay, so they asked JJ to seduce me. The first obstacle was fine because usually when I'm shooting, I try my best not to look at her sensitive parts. Later I had to give JJ a massage, at first massaging her face and neck were okay, but then they wanted me to massage her chest, that time I was really a tad embarrassed. So I could only pretend to be a blind massager, and wait for a good atmosphere, it was pretty funny!"

Having a hot Louis put makeup on her and massage her, JJ said: "After shooting, everyone said I would become someone envied by all of Louis' fans. But Mr. Koo and I are afraid of embarrassment too, so before shooting he would tell me what he's going to do when the cameras roll. He told me if there is anything wrong, quickly shout and say no!"

Yesterday Louis Koo attended an opening ceremony for Mirror Of Wanhua Stage's Winter Dreams and was asked about the recent action taken by the government to strike at the housing market. Louis felt that the measure this time is 'spicy' enough, but he's only focused on buying low price properties, so does not affect him much. As a luxury home owner, is he worried the measure will affect the price of his house? He said: "It's hard to estimate, last time it didn't cool down, hopefully this time it will. I basically bought the house to live in, rarely using it for investments, I can consider it as a long term investment. I only bought one house to live in, and the one I lived in previously hasn't been sold yet, that's why the public thinks I have so many properties. The current housing prices in HK really are expensive, the money I earn really is from sweat and blood. Within these 1-2 years, I will be cautious and won't be investing."

Louis' ligament foot injury still has not fully recovered yet, he expressed that after the surgery, the fastest recovery will be before Lunar New Year. However, his schedule is lined up until the end of next year and he has to rush to finish shooting the Lunar New Year film, so has not had time for physical therapy, he said: "Doctor said at the current stage, it is the most dangerous because can easily break, so even if I'm really tired after work, I will still take some time off to jog for physical therapy in order to avoid muscle atrophy." Louis also expressed that he'll attend Miriam Yeung's wedding, but has not decided on the wedding gift. Has he considered to re-enact the passionate kiss that happened at her concert as a gift? He said: "Not good! Leave that for her husband to do!"

Earlier Louis Koo injured his leg at work, which led to a ligament fracture and meniscus tear. His condition is rather serious, the day before he attended a luxary car anniverary celebration in Beijing with his injury. Later, he left a message on his website that he is injured and expressed that when he gets back to Hong Kong, he will have to undergo surgery. Then he'll be resting for 9-12 months.

Actually Louis started shooting many movies, but after surgery he will have to rest for a period of time. It was understood that many film production companies are still insisting to use Louis. Seems like Louis is a deeply favored by the film production companies. After his surgery, he will not be able to make big movements, Louis laughed: "For this time period, I have to end my movie fate with Johnnie To. His movies are always so jumpy!"

Good actors Louis Koo and Chapman To's new EEG movie Triple Tap has a lot of death fighting scenes, one of them is about Chapman attempting to suffocate Louis using a plastic bag. Because Chapman was too into character, he really put Louis's life at risk. Louis said later that Chapman used his mighty strength: "Couldn't believe Chapman being a small man can be so strong!" Looking at the pictures from the scene, Chapman's expression looked very fierce as he attempted to suffocate Louis. Louis had a plastic bag around his head and couldn't see, but he was still able to use his hands to grab onto the window blinds. That scene was difficult to act, but both Chapman and Louis still had good acting!

Although Louis risked getting suffocated because of Chapman, he still praised his good acting skills that he's really into character: "I know he's just trying to make the scene more realistic, so I didn't try to resist. When an actor is that into character, if its because I can't withstand the difficulty and tell them to stop, then I am really not professional."

Chapman teased Louis afterwards that he's one of the strongest: "Before filming I also never thought Louis would get hurt, he is at least taller than me by a head. I definitely won't hurt him! Actually Louis is one of the artists who's born with strength. I remember one fighting scene, when I got home after work I ached so much, can image how much strength he's got!"

The film Triple Trap directed by Derek Lee is schedule to release in July. In the movie, Louis Koo and Daniel Wu's many gun shooting scenes are full of flavor. Louis was also arranged to be romantically connected with both Charlene Choi and Li Bing Bing. Louis smiled and said that he's not sure if the director knew Daniel got married, so he deliberately did not arrange any love relationships for him, ending his fate with beautiful women.

In the movie, Ah Sa and Li Bing Bing's roles both fights for Louis. Ah Sa plays a nurse who is soft inside and tough outside, which is very different from Li Bing Bing's tough policewoman role. She said that for every scene, the director had to explain her character's emotions, giving her a good experience on acting.

Sandra Ng and Louis Koo recently started working on their new ancient comedy [Mr. and Mrs. Incredible] and the press conference was held yesterday. Besides modeling their costumes, Sandra and Louis both did a peanut catwalk show with many other models. They also shared their experiences on filming. On the first day of filming, they already had a bed scene, Louis laughed and said that Sandra's boyfriend Peter Chan had no eyes to see, he only saw half of it and left. Sandra also laughed and said that after Peter left, the two had a great time filming the bed scene.

Asked on the day of filming the bed scene, did Peter especially come to check up on them? Sandra said that day was the first day of work, right after the blessing ceremony was held, so Peter was there too. Asked if there are challenging movements for the bed scene? Sandra expressed: "This time, both of us plays someone who have special powers, so it's more challenging than normal people. (Any special movements for the bed scene?) Of course! Good stuff! It's not same as normal people, have to hug the waist while pushing the plates and cups off."

Asked Louis if he felt the bed scene was challenging? He said: "I felt it was difficult, its harder than normal sex scenes! Also this time we have tight leather superhero costumes on, even when my back itches, I can't scratch it. The costumes is so heavy and tiring."

Yesterday Louis Koo stuck by Lee Heung Kam's side as she suddenly fainted while filming, Kam Jeh said: "Louis and Sandra Ng took good care of me. They both gave me a brand name scarf gift, I guess Sandra's one is more expensive than Louis's one." Louis who was besides her was not upset after hearing that, he said: "You really know your stuff, I'll buy you a more expensive one tomorrow."

Asked about his failure in making into the Hong Kong Film Awards film king nominations for his role in [Overhead], does he feel unhappy? Louis said: "I'm not unhappy because I can't control it, no nominations means I have to work even harder. Getting a nomination is just the icing on top of a cake, a source of encouragement." Kam Jeh suddenly asked: "Which film of yours was nominated?" Louis helplessly said: "I didn't get one." Kam Jeh laughed: "No nomination then work harder, don't request it." Louis said: "I'm not requesting it, I really use my heart in acting."

Louis Koo, Kristal Tin, Sandra Ng and Raymond Wong arrived in Tsuen Wan to attend the promotional event for their new film [All's Well, Ends Well 2010 - 花田囍事2010]. Asked Louis who started off his career at TVB if he paid attention to the news about TVB's harshness to Jacky Cheung, Eric Tsang and other TVB artists? Louis expressed that he has not filmed series for several years, although he still owes TVB 20 episodes, but currently he has too many films to work on and probably cannot pay off his "debt" yet.

If after he repays his debt and TVB offers him another series, will he be worried of the reduced price? Louis said that he has no time to look at that factor, money is not a big problem. If the script is good and new things to learn, money is absolutely not a problem. The question was then left to Kristal who shot some series with TVB, she embarrassingly said: "TVB OK! I feel that the most important thing is the enjoyment during filming. I film series for TVB because I love to act, the responsibility taking care of the family is left to my husband to handle."

Louis and Kristal expressed that they play a married couple in the film, the main focus is comedy and that the only threat is filming in the cold weather. Louis expressed that the funniest part is where Kristal had to dance to seduce him. Asked if the scene was challenging for her? She laughed: "It was easy to seduce him because I've done the same thing at home with my husband, only because of that I am brave enough to do it."
