CC & CC 'A Flower in Your Image'

Hi everyone!  It's time for another new challenge on the Chocolate, Coffee & Cards Challenge Blog.  Out theme for this challenge is 'A Flower in Your Image", and once again we have the pleasure of being sponsored by DeeDee's Digis.  For my card, I am using once of the yummy cupcakes, and a sentiment from their Summer Birth Flower Cupcakes stamp set.  My real challenge was choosing which cupcake to use - they are all beautiful!  I am really happy with how this came out...what do you think?

The Copics I used are: wrapper - Y17, Y21 & YR31; frosting - RV10, RV23 & RV25; flower - E40, E42, E43, E71 & E77.

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper from Sherri Baldy, ribbon, and flowers from Wild Orchid.  I used Pebbles, Inc. chalk over the sentiment, and used Quick Quotes powder puff chalk on the edged of the papers. How perfect is that paper?  Thanks for stopping by everyone...I really appreciate your time:)  Have a great day!

Quirky Crafts Guest Designer!

Hope y'all are having a good weekend so far!  I'm excited to share a card I made this week for my guest spot over at the Quirky Crafts Challenge Blog.  I was thrilled then they asked!  The sponsor for the challenge is Crackerbox Palace, and I loved using their Daisy image.  The challenge is Lots of Flowers, so I colored 6 images (doubled them up) for dimension, and used floral paper.  I went for a more CAS look with this one.

The Copics I used are: flower - C3, BG32, BG34, RV000, RV23, RV29, RV52 & RV55; stems/leaves - G21, YG95 & YG97.  The paper I've had for so long, I don't even know who it is from, lol.  I had a bot of trouble at first, as I don't usually use just flowers for my cards, but I am quite pleased at the result:)  I hope you like it!

Creative Knockouts DT

Good morning!  I am SUPER excited to announce that I'm now part of the Design Team over on the Creative Knockouts blog.  Today we have a new challenge for you - Floral Delight.  Our sponsor this week is Fred, She Said Stamps, and I have the pleasure of using their beautiful Tulip Bouquet digi.  This was a bit of a challenge for me, because it's the first floral image I've used.  I'm quite pleased with the finished project:)

The Copics I used are: flowers - YR00, YR15 and YR18; stems/leaves - YG00, YG03, YG17 and G29; pitcher - Y32, YR24 and YR31.

For the card I used a variety of papers from My Mind's Eye 'Stella Rose' line.  I cut 2" strips, and used a Martha Stewart edge punch for the layers at the bottom of the card.  I used ribbon rfom my stash to frame the image, and also behind the image to transition from the paper strips to the top portion of the background.  I used Quick Quotes powder puff chalk in Mango Mai Tai and Tahiti to edge my papers.  Thanks for looking!

Don't forget to head on over to the Creative Knockouts blog to see all of the lovely DT projects, and to play along with the challenge.  Have an awesome day!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
