Simply Betty - June Fairy

Hi everyone!  I hope you are all having a lovely week. Half way there!!
I'm stopping by to share a project I made for Simply Betty's June Progressive Challenge.  This is the first time in a long while that I have had the time to play along, and I had so much fun with it! You can find information about her challenge in her Simply B Stamps Facebook Fan Page.  Here is a look at my card:

For the challenge, we were to use the colors black, red, yellow and cream.  I decided to make her wings the black element...not a color I would typically use for fairy wings, but I am loving how they look!  We also had to include some glitter, which I have added to the sentiment.  I also used Wink of Stella on her wings, but it is hard to capture that in the photo. Here is a closer look at the digi and sentiment:

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week:)

Hugs,
Bonnie

It's been a very popular challenge, and we hope you will join us!  Please check out the pinned post in the Art by Mi Ran Facebook Group for all of the details, and where to go to buy the image.  And if you have any questions, shout them out!  We're a very friendly group:)

The image this month is so gorgeous - but really, aren't they all?  Here is my project using  Eirwen:

The Copics I used are: skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, E93 & R11; hair - E35, E37, YR21, YR23; dress - YG01, YG93, YG95 & YG97; cape - R32, R35, R37, R39; holly - G21, G29, G46, R24, R27 & R29; boots - W1, W2, W3, W5 & W7.  The image is printed on x-press paper.

I just love this beauty.  I used white embossing powder and iridescent glitter for the fur on her clothing:

Hopefully you can see the effect in this picture:

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper and stickers from Authentique (Festive), ribbon, lace, berries and leaves from Wild Orchid, and dies by Sizzix and Spellbinders. I think she is one of my favorite cards I've ever made.

Please head on over to the Art by Mi Ran Facebook Group to see all of the projects, and to find out how to enter yours into the challenge!  Thanks for stopping by.  Have a fantastic weekend!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Love to Scrap Challenge Blog - Ribbon and Lace, Oh My! (red ribbon & black lace)
A Snowflake's Promise - Christmas/Winter
