Spring Style

Good morning everyone!  We are starting a new challenge on the Paper Shelter Challenge Blog, and this week our theme is 'Lace it Up'.  You do not need to use a digi from The Paper Shelter to enter the challenge, but those using an image from The Paper Shelter will be eligible to win a $30 gift certificate.  Any winner not using a Paper Shelter digi will win 3 digis of their choice.  For my DT project, I decided to make a card using  Spring Style.    You can find this one, along with tons of other amazing images over at PaperShelter.com

The Copics I used are:  skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, RV10 & RV13; hair - E51, E53, E35, E95 & E99; dress - BG10, BG11, BG15, BG23 & RV17; belt/boots - E71, E74, E79, E23 & E21; purse - RV17, Y08, E23, E25 & E29. The image is printed on x-press paper.

For the card, I used Bazzill cardstock, KaiserCraft cardstock & sie cuts, lace, Wild Orchid flower, and Spellbinder dies. Would you like to play along with our 'Lace it Up' challenge?  It's really easy...just head on over to the Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to see all of the rules. You can also check out the amazing DT inspiration projects by my fellow DT members.  I do hope you'll join us!  Thank you for taking a look.  Have a fabulous day!  I hope it's a crafty one:)

ABM - July Progressive Challenge

Greetings everyone in blogger land! I'm really excited about this post - it's time for the July Progressive Challenge over in the Art by MiRan Facebook Group!  Every month Mi Ran created such gorgeous images for this challenge, and this month is no exception.  In fact, I think she's outdone herself!  This one is such a beauty!

Have you played along with this challenge before?  If you have, you might remember that when  you participate in the challenge, the next month's image is free.  You read that right - it is free to you as long as you entered the prior month's challenge. If you are new to the challenge, you can buy the current image at a reduced rate, and as long as you enter the challenge, the next one will be free to you.  Super easy!  And such beautiful images too.  Check out the post in the Art by MiRan Facebook Group to see all of the details, and to enter your project!  Here is the card I made using this month's image 'Marie Mariposa':

The Copics I used are: hair - E42, E43, E47 & E49; dress - R81, R85, R89, R000, R32 & R43; flowers - B91, B95, Y28, Y32, G85 & G99.

I made this easel card using Bazzill cardstock, paper by Kaiser Crafts (Secret Garden), flowers from Wild Orchid, ribbon, charm (Websters Pages), and LaLa Land Crafts die.  I used stickles on her wings for added sparkle.  Here is a closer look at the image:

I've been having fun with easel cards too - I'm really trying to get out of the habit of only making 6x6 cards. I really love this fluffy ribbon and charm on the bottom:

I do hope you will join us over in the Art by MiRan Facebook Group - there are always fun challenges going on, and everyone is super sweet and welcoming.  You can also check out the other gorgeous images from Mi Ran in her Etsy shop.  Thanks for stopping by, and have an awesome day!
