Happy Birthday Vannessa!!

Won't you come join our celebration today?  We have a very special challenge today over in the Art by Mi Ran Facebook Group to celebrate Vannessa's Birthday!  She is our amazing Facebook DT Coordinator for Art by Mi Ran.  She keeps us in line, and organized, and never hesitates to help us when we need it. Adorable, isn't she?  Perfect for anyone's birthday.  Here is my very special card made just for Vannessa.  I do hope she likes it!

The Copics I used are: hair - E35, E37, YR24 & YR31; dress - R20, R22, R24 & R27; balloons - G000, G00, BG11, BG13, RV23, RV25, RV29, YR24, Y21 & Y32.  I used a white gelly roll pen for the polka dots on her bow.

For the card I used Bazzill cardstock, paper from October Afternoon, ribbon, Wild Orchid flowers, Martha Stewart leaf punch, and LaLa Land Crafts & Spellbinder dies. I really hope Vannessa loves it!! Simply Betty - Missing You

Happy Monday everyone! I would like to share a card I made for a challenge going on over in the Simply Betty Facebook Group.  It's her current freebie challenge (the image isn't free anymore, but you can still find her in Betty's shop and play along).  This lovely image is called 'Missing You', and the challenge is to use 3 designer papers, ribbon, and at least one embellishment. I'd love to know what you think!

The Copics I used are: skin - E000, E00, E4, E11, E21 & R20; hair - E35, YR23, Y21 & Y32; shirt - G00, BG11, BG13 & BG19; cup - E71, E77 & E79; table - R20, R22 & R24.

Key to My Heart

Tonight I would like to share a card using Key to My Heart by Ching-Chou Kuik.  She is having a challenge right now in her Facebook Group.  the challenge is to use this image, and create a project with the theme 'Lace Romance'.  It's my first time using one of her images, but certainly won't be the last.  I love how this turned out.

The Copics I used are: skin - E000, E00, E04, E11 and R20; hair - Y21, Y32, E31, E33 and E35; dress - RV91, RV95 and RV99; leaves - YG93, G85 and G99; flowers - R81, R85 and R89; eyes - YG00, YG03 and YG17.

For the card I used paper and embellishments from Prima's 'Tea-Thyme Collection', leaf stick pins, lace, pink tulle, and a lock and key charm.  I distressed the edges of the papers and edged them with white gesso.  Thanks for taking a look!
