Stamplorations - I LOVE COFFEE

Hello Friends!
Sharing a card I made using the January sketch at Stamplorations

To make this one layer card I first masked a rectangle on the card panel & stenciled over the masked area following the layout in the sketch. I then stamped the coffee cup ( Coffee Happy Set)  & colored it with Zig Real Brush pens. The sentiment is one single stamp, so a masked a part of the sentiment & stamped as desired.

Floral Water Colored Card for a Friend

Happy Monday Friends!
Welcome here again, with a water colored card made for a dear friend.
A simple card with lots of techniques.
The lime & lemony background was made with gelatos & later embossed using the WRMK next level embossing folder.  I later sprayed the background with pearlized mist (kiwi).

The stamped (hero arts large blossom) card front is water colored with peerless water colors & the sentiment(Simon Says Stamp - Friendship messages) is heat embossed.

Can you see the effect of perfect pearls mist here?

Sending Hugggssss

Hello Friends!
Welcome back!
I used the inspiration picture from Altenew challenge for my card today.

I first created a heat embossed background on black CS using a stamp from the Beautiful day set & colored all the images using Creta color pencils. Next the focal image, a gorgeous bloom & leaves from the same set were heat embossed in blue (Wow EP) & colored with Peerless watercolors. Both the panels were die cut with SSS stitched rectangle dies & glued to a gold foil card base.

Bookmark

Good Morning!
A quick post from me to share a bookmark for which the background was made with peerless watercolors. The W&W blooms (the big, the bold & the extras) were heat embossed in gold to create a background. I loved the subtle water colors peeking through the embossed flowers & decided to color only the leaves.

The sentiment is a PTI stamp.

I have made several bookmarks in the past, you can check them here, here, here & here.

Water Colored Floral Background

Happy Monday Friends!
Its a card share today with a water colored floral background for the Winnie & Walter 2nd birthday bash.
For the background I stamped the flowers & the leaves (Winnie & Walter - The big, the bold & the happy) using color box scarlet & lime inks & heat embossed them using Rangers Holographic embossing powder..........the result was divine!
Used my current fav water coloring medium - Peerless Watercolors to color the stamped images.
The floral background was glued over black card stock, one edge of which was also heat embossed.

Here's a closer look at the coloring & the gorgeous holographic embossing. The sentiment is also a Winnie & Walter stamp (The big, the bold & the extras). I also stamped the images on vellum using color box ink & heat embossed these.

Coffee With Friends!

Hello & welcome back to my blog!
I am guest designing for The Crazy Challenge this month & here is the first inspiration post.
The theme this fortnight is CARD FOR A FRIEND
The Stampendous background stamp was perfect for the card I wanted to make. I stamped this on a stitched rectangle die cut in archival ink & left the rest of the card rather simple. The latte cup (Tim Holtz - Stampers Anonymous) was colored with Peerless watercolors. The pattern paper is from the Prima - Coffee Break pack. Too much coffee, huh!!! A coffee lover that I am, friends & coffee go hand in hand, a good cup of coffee with friends is BLISS!

Be Happy!

Hello dear friends!
I wanted to play along Simos Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge where the theme is OMBRE.
To create the stenciled (Faber Castell - mixed media stencils ) ombre background I used distress inks - squeezed lemonade, mustard seed, wild honey & fired brick. I have used lots of new supplies here - the stampendous zinnia stamp colored with my new Gansai Tambi watercolors & fussy cut. The sentiment is heat embossed on vellum.

A few other cards I made earlier with an ombre effect can be viewed here, here, here & here.
