Cards - Rinea foil

Hello Friends!
Today I am at the RINEA blog with these two cards.
The first one is a simple word shaker card. For the front card base I have used Glossy Ruby/Gold from the Jewels Foiled Paper Variety Pack

I love the glossy ruby foil peeking in the shaker window! Simple but an absolute classy card!

The second card is in one of my favorite white & silver combo. For this card I die cut a large butterfly in the front panel of the card base. Used  Silver/Silver Glossy Foiled Paper on the backside to cover the window. Also die cut some smaller butterflies to add some dimension. Rinea foil cuts so easily with any standard die. The sentiment is heat embossed.

I also embossed the die cut to pop the wings.

Love Struck

Crafty friends, welcome to my blog!
It is the season of love & how can a cardmaker not make a card! With so many challenges with this theme I decided to play along too, with 2 cards.

The first one is a simple card but with loads of techniques -

  • for the front of the black card panel I created a embossed heart pattern using the Gina Marie stitched heart dies
  • the heat embossed arrows from the Paper Trey Ink set - Cupids Arrow are inlaid on the focal heart die cut

This card reminds me of the Twilight series my daughter read!

My second card is a quick & easy shaker card using sequins & stickers from Itsy Bitsy. The bokeh designer paper is a new release by Papericious.

Guest Designer - Crafty Boots Challenge

Good Morning!
Today I am Guest Designing for Crafty Boots Challenge, where the theme is MONOCHROMEyou can use any materials you like to make anything you like, for example, a card, a box top, a gift bag, a scrapbook page, or an ATC, an inchie. I chose to make a card in a rather bold combination - black & orange, inspired by my card here. The stamped (Stampendous stamp) zinnia colored with distress inks  is fussy cut & over laid on a card panel, the diagonal background of which is heat embossed. Here is another card using the same stamp in which I used Gansai Tambi watercolors for the zinnia.

Easel Shaker Card

Hello All!
Today I am joining as Guest Designer for the 4th birthday celebration at LULUPU.COM, India's leading online craft supply store. Please hop over to the blog for details, you also stand a chance to win some awesome goodies by participating in the birthday challenge & games.
For the inspiration I made a Easel shaker card using the goodies Karuna sent along.
You will find all the details of this card in the blog post here.

While making the shaker part I decided to add a twist to this shaker card by mounting it on another die cut with an ACTION WOBBLE! This was so fun & can we call it the wobbling shaker card?

Happy Christmas

Hello Friends!
Another Christmas card today & many more to share! You can see the card  This one too has baubles like the one I shared earlier today here.

I had a printed Christmas theme vellum in my stash on which I heat embossed some snowflakes & candy canes in gold to break the monotony of red................loved the result!

Anniversary Card with Vellum flowers

Good Morning!
Second post today to share the card I made for the current challenge at Lulupu Challenge#53. You can find all the details about the challenge in my post here.

My card base is black & the diagonal stripes were created with a MFT stencil & Inkagold Silver. The Inspired by Stamping blooms were heat embossed in silver on vellum & then fussy cut.

Over the blooms I have added shimmer with my favorite - clear Wink of Stella brush pen! This is a must have for all card makers, especially if you are one like me who likes just a subtle shimmery look. Just look at the effect.......even fantastic in real!

Craft Your Passion#250

Today's card is the DT card I made for Craft Your Passion#250. Inspiration for the background of this card came from my daughter's altered planner cover. She covered the kraft colored cover in chalkboard paint (I have used black cardstock) & splatter it with nail paint in various colors! here is her planner.........she has heat embossed the sentiment.

When I selected this digi by the sponsors Bugaboo Stamps - Circle Sentiment -You rock, The sentiment is colored with Cretacolor pencils, I knew I wanted to make a trendy card which both my girls will like! So here it.......
