Craft Your Passion#239

Hello and welcome to Craft Your Passion#239.

WOW, can you believe it is November already? Well, its already time for winter & fun in the snow. Yes you guessed it right todays card is all about snow.

  So, without further ado let me show you my card - 

The adorable image & sentiment is by Diane's Daydream Designs our sponsors for this week. Our challenge for this round is to use elements with B's in your creations. I have used baby, ball, button brad, bow, blue. I had a beautiful snowflake vellum in my stash & wanted to use it on this card. I also wanted to retain the snowfall background of the digi (take a look at the snow under the vellum). I printed two copies of the colored image. Fussy cut the girl & the tub & pieced it over the image with foam tape & I was done! Loved the background & the dimensional look of the image.

Altered Spoon

Hello friends, welcome back, hope you all had a happy & joyous diwali. Best wishes! 

Another altered project today! Didn't I tell you I was on a roll altering items!

Any guesses what has been transformed here? 

Played around with gesso, acrylic paint & LSG spray to transform a soup spoon into a beautiful piece of decor for the kitchen!

The gorgeous blooms are handmade (Joy Craft die cut flowers)  & so is the nest beneath the metal nest charm.

Some dangling charms a tea pot & spoon..................perfect for the altered spoon!

A Mini Album

Hello friends!
Sharing a mini album I made as GD for Kraftzone. The theme all month long is 1-2-3 (pattern paper, image, embellishments)....................take a look -
The fussy cut justrite stamped image used for the cover is hand colored -

 The mini has six pockets with tag inserts - four inside & two outside. Lots of distressing here on the tags.

 Can you see the dash of glitter over the die cuts? Used the wink of stella glitter pen.

Justrite Challenge #120

Good Morning!!

This weekend I am sharing a lovely card in black & red using Justrite Stamps. 

The heat embossed sentiment is from the Grand Sentiments set. To create the chalkboard look around this I used a paper towel to blend white pigment ink (color box).

The fussy cut lily is colored using Steadler Luna water color pencils & is from the Frog & Water Lily set.
