Free Thanksgiving Cards

Get some free downloads at Craft Direct to create these three Thanksgiving Cards!

I love this collection and somehow the middle one "give thanks" with it's simplicity is my favorite.  Which one do you like best?

The card on the left with the turkey was created using the Cricut Explore Air. These files are svg format so, you can use it on Silhouette or other machines too.

Download the files at:

Gift Boxes!

Hello all!!! Today, I have for you a pair of cute boxes I am using as gift boxes for my cousins. In them fit a couple of nail polishes, a nail file and a few kiss candies. I found these cute box cuts for free from Freedigitalscrapbooking Click here!! Go there and you can find extra things for free too!

I have to say that these are not my favorite after decorating... But, with everything we have to keep playing and see what hits that happy button! I will definitely use these cuts for another occasion and play with the decoration!

Now, I have a very important tip when cutting these files. I used the Make The Cut program and the cut is set up to cut the little tiny cuts for the folding lines. Well, I stopped the cut after it was done cutting the outer part and did the scoring on my own. If you let the machine do all those little tiny cuts it will look messy.

Here they are:

These will look great hung on the tree before giving them away!!!

All materials are SEI Kris Kringle Collection

Thanks for taking a peek!!!!

Crayon Treat Box!

Today I have for you something super cute and simple to do! This week we have to create something for a Holiday party, so I decided to do this little crayon box for treats to place around the table!

What do you think??

I used SEI'>http://www.shopsei.com/main.cfm?heading=0&categoryoid=11">SEI Kris Kringle collection and stickers(they have two Christmas lines on clearance right now!!!)! Ribbon is from Joanns.... I think...

The box!! You are probably asking!! Where is that box from??! hehehe Well, if you have Make The Cut or Sure Cuts A Lot you can purchase cuts from MyScrapChic'>http://myscrapchick.com/">MyScrapChick, these are very affordable to buy and she has the cutests things! oh and they have a 70% off right now!!! They are very easy to use!

Thanks, as always my crafty friends, for taking a peek!!

Abby

There is also a crayon box cut on the Batman cartridge.

Christmas Snowflake Cards

This card is sort of a twofer ggggggggg

You have 2 options....create a Snowflake Card or add the Western Santa for a Santa Card

RECIPE:

6X12 WHITE LINEN CARDSTOCK BASE
6X6 PIECE OF WHITE 3M POST-IT ADHESIVE CRAFT PAPER
GLITTER
SMALL PIECES OF COLORED 3M POST-IT ADHESIVE CRAFT PAPER - FOR SANTA
MARTHA STEWARD WHITE GLITTER GLUE - FOR SANTAS BEARD AND MUSTACHE
MARTHA STEWARD BLUE GLITTER GLUE - FOR SANTAS EYES

OPTIONAL:  INK AND INK PAD TO STAMP SENTIMENT INSIDE CARD

DIRECTIONS

START WITH YOUR 6X12 BASE CARDSTOCK AND FOLD IN HALF

NEXT I CUT THE SNOWFLAKE THAT WAS DOWNLOADED FROM PENNY DUNCAN (THANKS PENNY!) AT SIZE 5 INCHES ON WHITE 6X6 PIECE OF 3M POST-IT CRAFT PAPER

ONCE CUT I REMOVED THE BACKING AND SPRINKLED ON MY ULTRA FINE GLITTER...3M POST-IT CRAFT PAPER MAKES THIS PROCESS SO EASY!

I THEN RUN THE SNOWFLAKE THROUGH MY XYRON TO PUT ADHESIVE ON THE BACK TO STICK TO MY CARD BASE

FOR THE SNOWFLAKE CARD THAT COMPLETES IT EXCEPT FOR PUTTING YOUR SENTIMENT INSIDE

OK NOW FOR THE SANTA PART...I TOOK JUST SMALL PIECES JUST LARGE ENOUGH TO DO EACH OF THE INDIVIDUAL CUTS FROM COLORED 3M POST-IT CRAFT PAPER...PEELED THE BACKING OFF AND LAYERED ON

FOR HIS BEARD, MUSTACHE AND EYEBROWS I USED THICK AMOUNT OF MARTHA STEWARDS WHITE GLITTER GLUE TO GIVE A TEXTURED EFFECT

I USED SMALL AMOUNT OF BLUE MARTHA STEWARDS GLITTER GLUE FOR HIS EYES

HERE IS A CLOSE UP OF HOW HE LOOKS.....THINKING MY BASE COLOR INSTEAD OF BLACK I SHOULD HAVE USED A DARD BEIGE......OH WELL THE KIDS WILL LIKE IT ANYWAY :o)

HOPE YOU LIKED THEM!
