Elegant You're A Treasure

Hello friends!

Today it's my turn to share a card over on the DeNami blog.  It's a classically clean card, but the images give it some elegance. A card perfect to send to a a friend you adore or to someone who has been there for you!
The Stamps I used:
J 139 Elegant Floral Arch
I took a length of white grosgrain ribbon and wrapped it around the card front and created a tab embellished with a black button from the Halloween Boutique Collection to complete the look.
Thanks for letting me share with you today! Head over to DeNami Design to see what items you might want to add to your collection!

I am personally adding this to My Craft Spot - Clean And Simple!

Have a wonderful day!
Hugs and Smiles!

Friends With Flair - Find Joy Everyday

Hi-Ya!

It's Friday and that means it's time for Unity Friends With Flair! Make sure you stop on over at the Unity Blog this weekend and hop to all the participants because you could be the lucky winner of a bag of Unity Goodness. Not a bad deal for leaving some love.

Here is my contribution to the blog hop today.

The stamps I used are from Unity: Could I be any cuter set.  I added a few layers of papers from my scrap pile, and the scalloped border at the bottom was punched from EK Success embossed curve punch.
I challenged myself to use colors together I wouldn't normally gravitate to put together.  Every now and then it's good to push myself outside my own comfort zone.
I hope you have a great start to your weekend.
~Tammy~

E.A.D. Designs Plum Shabby Color Challenge 1

Plum Shabby Color Challenge 1

E.A. D. Designs is hosting their first Color challenge and the colors are Black, Plum and Gray. How divine and rich is that??? Below is the inspiration photo.

This card included several things that I love, paper, ribbon, buttons, stamping, black, purple, gray, and a little bling!!!....Um just about everything, okay, let’s get to the card {wink wink} I Started out with Stampin’ UP! Perfect Plum as my standard A2 base I then added a layer each of designer paper by Making Memories before I adhered it to my card base.

I used my Gypsy to cut the remaining images to simplify things as they are from two different cartridges.  After my scallop top note was cut in the gray, I used VersaMark ink with Damask Designs by Papertrey Ink to create a subtle background image.

Next I layered the chair cut. Can you see the purple peeking underneath in the scroll? {love it} Then I reversed the paper layers for the word Relax which I adhered with foam adhesive, before adding a few rhinestones to finish it off. Oh, and did you notice I had to have a rhinestone to the top of the chair!  Last but not least I added some buttons!

I hope you enjoyed this fun little card as much as I enjoyed creating it! It is much cuter in person!!! I am glad I got to participate in E.A.D. Designs First Color Challenge!

Take care and have a great day!
~Tammy~

MPS Father's Day Card Challenge

Happy Memorial Day Weekend Everyone! I hope we all take this time to reflect upon those who have served this great nation past and present! I just want to say thank you for putting yourself in harms way to protect my beliefs and freedoms!
Now onto the card:
I started with a standard A2 size card in Riding Hood Red, I then added a layer of Whisper White card stock and rounded the edges and used the vintage touch tea dye from Papertrey Ink to give it that antique look. I added another layer of designer paper by Little Yellow Bicycle.
The shaped piece behind the truck was cut using Just Because Cards (Radish cut) at 5 3/4 using my gypsy I also used the vintage touch tea dye to antique the edges, and the Pick Up Truck was cut at 5 1/2 also from Just Because Cards.
The Sentiment is from Trendy Greeting: The Angel Company
I am grateful for the challenge because it got me on the ball to make my first "Dreaded Man Card". Since it was Memorial Day Weekend I was in a Very Patriotic Mood!
All righty there you have it...my first attempt at a blog post.
Blessings,
Tammy
