Trendy Twine - Mini Coffee Cup Berry Basket

Hi Friends!

I'm over on the Trendy Blog sharing a Hot Cocoa gift treat showcasing this months AWESOME Mini Coffee Cups,  Mini Spoons, and Cherry Latte Trendy Twine.

I always get swamped at the holidays, so I try to start working on gifts for these occasions early. I made a little basket of Holiday Cheer!

I started by decorating my Mini Coffee Cup with some designer paper. I made a belly band from kraft paper and ran it through my paper crimper to give it the corrugated cardboard look.

I used some die-cut labels to attach my greeting and I wrapped the top with Trendy Twine's Featured twine this month: Cherry Latte Trendy Twine

I then added the contents to make Peppermint Hot Cocoa into a bag and tied off adding Cherry Latte Trendy Twine gift tag and a decorated Mini Wooden Spoon.

Next I took a paper berry basket adding Kraft Paper Shreds and folded a doily over the top to the outside. Wrapping some more amazing Cherry Latte Trendy Twine adding a cluster pine cone embellishment to complete my gift set.

All other stamps, dies and embellishments were a combination of items in my personal collection:
My Creative Time
DeNami Design
Paper Smooches

Celebrate the 4th Patriotic Popcorn

Good Sunday Morning!

I hope you are enjoying this last weekend in June. Well, if you are headed to a friend's for the 4th and looking for a little hostess gift to take...how about some Patriotic Popcorn in a cute jar with some fabulous Stars and Stripes Trendy Twine.
I think any hostess would appreciate this don't you?
For my card, I started with a Real Red card base onto which I added a layer of blue and kraft patterned paper. To top that I added a star embossed layer of kraft cardstock to carry out the patriotic theme we are celebrating this month.
I added lots of the fabulous Stars and Stripes Trendy Twine behind a die-cut star to serve as my main focal image. I have always been a fan of Baker's Twine used this way! Just above my sentiment (Paper Smooches), I wrapped the twine around several times and tied in a bow to complete the card.
I just added a little bit of the twine at the top of the lid to tie it all in and decorate the jar. The label was found on line. The popcorn is easy to make. Just melt white chocolate, add sprinkles and M & M's and toss.
Head on over to Annie's Paper Boutique to pick up this Stars & Stripes twine for those patriotic projects. Thanks so much for stopping by and have an awesome day!

Trendy Twine October Challenge ~ Boo-tiful Tags & Treats

Good Morning!

Welcome to the October Challenge with Trendy Twine!  Our theme this month is Boo-tiful Tags & Treats. We would like to see your Halloween Treat creations with a tag and of course Trendy Twine! (No other brands of baker's twine) Please use hemp, jute, or embroidery thread only if you do not currently own Trendy Twine. Better yet you can head over to the store here and pick up some today!

Now onto my project!
I used the Small Candy Rectangle Clear Box (Which comes in packs of 10) and filled with some festive candy corn!  I wrapped the box with Grape Limeade Trendy Twine multiple times. I cut a layered scalloped tag with my electronic cutting machine, and trimmed the inner layer with more yummy Grape Limeade Trendy Twine.  Before adhering to the packaging, I stamped my sentiment to the front.

I wanted to create a mini-card to go along with my little treat, so I cut a vampire out using the Mini Monster Cartridge. I stamped a sentiment that I thought was quite fitting to go in the lower right corner, and punched out some drippy goo from patterned paper and added to the top. I completed the card by wrapping Grape Limeade Trendy Twine around the top of the card and tied off in a bow.

The challenge will run from October 2nd through October 24th! I would LOVE to see you play along with us! Don't forget to check out the rest of the design team on the Trendy Twine Blog! You will be inspired no doubt!

{Trendy Twine} Wishing you a Beautiful Day Card and Gift Box

Hello Friends,

{I am honored that this was selected as The Winner over at Scrapbook Blessings Club on 10/7/14 Thank you so much}

I am over on the Trendy Twine Blog today sharing a card and gift box featuring Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine. You can find it now on sale.
I started with a blush pink card base adding a mix of patterned paper joined by an embossed layer of brown kraft cardstock. I added part of a doily peeking out from underneath ruffled dictionary pages.  Next I took some yummy Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine and wrapped it muliple times around the card front adding a seam binding bow embellished with a brown button laced with Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine.  Lastly, I added a die-cut and sentiment to finish the card.
I just love the cute little mini boxes!  I used the 2x2x2 Kraft Box and you can find these in packs of 10 at Annie's Paper Boutique.  I dressed up the box by wrapping more of the yummy Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine around the box and tie in a bow. The rest was dressing up the bow with some trimmings I had in my personal stash.
Hope you enjoyed my project! Don't forget to check out The Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine Facebook Page!

Hot Chocolate Ornaments with DeNami Design!

Hello Friends!

It's my turn to share a project on the DeNami Blog today, and I thought I would share a few hot chocolate ornament sets I am working on. It's a sweet and inexpensive gift. We love hot chocolate in our house. Warm, Cozy, and ummmm yummy!

I created two different varieties and I created a sweet little tag for each using the Classic Christmas Stamp Set and sentiments from Christmas Greeting Stamp Set
I created little matching 3 x 3 cards with instructions on how to make the hot chocolate! I used the Large Ornament stamp on the front of the card. The images inside the ornament are from the Candies Stamp set.
These little ornaments and their cards fit perfectly inside the Gift Bag Template.   I dressed them up a bit with a fussy bow embellished with tinsel and DeNami Boutique Buttons. I kept the cards and gifts bags fairly simple for ease of multi-producing.
A sweet little inexpensive gift to share!

The Kraft Journal #150 - Holiday Gifts - Cinnamon Honey Butter

Good Monday Morning To You!

For today's Holiday Gifts challenge at The Kraft Journal, I made homemade Cinnamon Honey Butter and placed in decorated mason jars to be delivered in Kraft Bags that have been decorated with a vintage touch

I used lots of products from The Kraft Outlet today. I started by decorating a Medium Kraft Paper Sack by die-cutting doilies from Buff Ivory Cardstock and distressing it with water and distress inks. The water will break down the fibers and give it a worn  and vintage look.  I used Medium Kraft Cardstock to die-cut Christmas Trees by Sizzix adding stickles for a decorative glitzy touch. I stamped and added a Grungy Prim Hang tag using an image and sentiment from Paper Sweeties Season of Love.  I used a Hinge Clip which has been painted cream to add the tag and keep the bag closed.

I created a paper flower using Vintage Dictionary Pages and Brown Kraft Text Paper using a technique I shared in January and can be found here.
For the Jars, I printed tags using Medium Kraft Cardstock and embellished with ribbon, a berry sprig, a button and Red Baker's Twine. I also added some christmas material to the top cutting out using pinking shears.
Aren't they cute! And yes the contents is very sweet and yummy!
Please be sure to head over to the The Kraft Journal to check out the projects by the other talented ladies.  We hope to see your Holiday Gifts creations in the gallery this week for your chance to be featured on our "Feature me Friday" post as well as be entered to win a $15.00 gift voucher from The Kraft Outlet store.

Paper Sweeties December 2013 Release Day 1 Sneak Peeks!

Hello Friends and welcome to Day 1 of the December Release for Paper Sweeties.

I am sharing two sets today that Paper Sweeties released live on December 1st.  I love to make hot chocolate gifts at Christmas, and I think it's fun to dress up and present them in a festive way. So today, I have a cute Snow Globe Card and Hot Chocolate gift with a darling tag.

On the card, I used stamps from: Thanks Snow Much! The embossed snowflakes you see in the background are from this set, as well as the cutie putie snowman and sentiment. This set comes with coordinating dies. {L O V E that} The little snowy hill is part of the set as well.
Now for the Jar, I just added some ingredients to make hot chocolate, cut some cute festive fabric for the lid topper, added some twine and tinsel and of course a darling tag with the cute little snow buddy, which is standing on a snow hill made from a die-cut that coordinates with the set. I just trimmed it to size. Lastly, I added a sentiment from Noel.

Gift Set For a New Home

I would like to share a gift set I created.

Since this is a picture heavy post, I will spare you the long details. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
This set was created for a young lady who will be moving off to college and her major will be Culinary. So I put a little homemade gift together to "spice" up her kitchen in her new apartment. It's an exciting time and one that should be celebrated!

Here are the spice jars. I kept things neutral so it will work with any color in her kitchen.

Here is  a sample of one up close.
I started with a plain ol' Kraft bag, and dressed it up a bit! :-)
Next up is a coordinating tag.
No gift is complete without a card!
All papers in this coordinating gift set are from Cupcake Cards and Crafts Flourish Line.

I hope you all are doing something wonderful this weekend. I am actually out of town, so if you are reading this, then blogger was kind and worked!

Hope you grabbed you some new goodies from the Inspired By Stamping store and took advantage of the free shipping and August discount bundle!
