Hello

Is everyone ready for the Easter Bunny to stop by? Not so sure this house is, but we'll be ready one way or the other...so much going on this weekend.

I have a card to share with you today and hold on to your hats...there's no seam binding on this one. :-)

I knew I wanted to create something different, so I started this card by stamping "stems" using Mint Motif's Beyond Borders in PTI Simply Chartreuse and "flowers" using WPlus9 Mehndi Medallions in Stampin' UP!; Peach Parfait, Momento; Angel Pink, and Momento; Dandelion onto Whisper White cardstock.  I rounded the corners using a Corner Chomper cloud punch and inked the edges with Camomile tea stain. I took a length of PTI Simply Chartreuse twill ribbon and wrapped it horizontally around my Whisper White cardstock leaving some length off at the ends which was tied off with some twine and embellished with a button.
A sentiment from Wilson Designs Everything's Owlright was stamped in Stampin' UP! Peach Parfait and mounted onto the card front.  The focal panel was then mounted onto a Kraft card base using foam mounting tape.

Color Inspiration for this card came from Colourq131.
I found my layout inspiration from the April Sketch at Create
Photobucket
The Pink Elephant  - Clean and Simple
I'm excited to share that this card was featured in CREATE's Easter CARD's Challenge Gallery.

I always appreciate your visits and sticking with me through my shares. I hope you have a great and fantastic start to your Easter Weekend!

Color Combos Galore Inspiration Board

Hi!

**If you're looking for my Wilson Designs Release Post Frame project click here**

I was really inspired by a sight that is totally new to me and apparently I have been under a rock because it's not a new inspiration board sight.  I have had it marked to make time to create something with these beautiful colors and theme. The photo can be seen below!
I was immediately inspired by the flowers in the photograph, so I used some gorgeous papers from My Mind's Eye Market Street that had a beautiful floral pattern.

I started the card as mentioned by pulling a collection of papers from My Mind's Eye.  I stamped my sentiment from Wilson Designs Everything's Owlright on Kraft card stock and cut into a banner. Die cutting a scalloped circle in some pink patterned paper, I nested a vanilla circular die cut on top of that and placed to the left of my sentiment banner. I paper pieced a cupcake from Wilson Designs Strawberry Lemonade garnishing with a strawberry also from that collection.
To complete this card, the lower panel was dressed up with some sweet buttons and twine!

I found inspiration for this birthday card from: Color Combos Galore: Focus on Theme
Aren't those colors so pretty!!!

I hope you enjoyed this little birthday card!

I have not had a chance to share, but this card made The Shabby Tea Room Winner last week! I was so excited and honored!
I hope you have a fantastic weekend!

A Rockin' Thank You!

Hey there!

Sorry to say it's been one of those weeks where I have had no time to stamp and post. I have not made it around much in blogland so I hope to catch up soon.

I have depleted my stash of thank you cards, so I'm sharing one I created today.
I made this rockin' little thank you using Wilson Designs Let's Rock and sentiment from Wilson Designs Everything's Owlright.  I used a quickutz polka dot embossing folder for the background and thought it would be fun to only emboss part of the card front.  The strip of star paper is from my stash, but was purchased at Hobby Lobby. I cut the stars using nestabilities. The pink patterned paper is from Stampin' UP! and I used a page from an old vintage book that I rescued from the trash pile at a thrift shop. The pages in the book are falling apart it's lost it's spine, but perfect for card making projects.  I added a pink gem to the centers of my crossing guitars!

I hope you have a fun rest of your weekend as I know many have an extra day.  Yay! Be sure to come back by tomorrow as we kick start with a sneak peek for the new Wilson Designs Countdown.

I created this card using color inspiration from The Color Throwdown. I didn't have Poppy Parade, so I substituted with Pure Poppy and I am also joining in at  The Kraft Journal: Color Me Red.
See you tomorrow!

Hope Owl's Well

Hey there!

How are you on this Super Bowl Sunday?

I have a very quick post for you and I think it also happens to be my 300th post since starting down this adventure of paper craft blogging!

I have a cute little Owl card for you! It's been awhile since I inked this little guy up, so I thought now is the time to do so!
I started with a Kraft card base and adding a polka dot patterned paper from my stash as well as a hand stamped patterned panel followed with a scalloped trim below then distressed all edges. All stamps I used here are from Wilson Designs Everything's Owlright.

To dress things up a bit I add some seam binding tying a fussy bow adding a button and some twine.  I wanted a little extra embellishing so I added a few more cute buttons below my focal image. I love my buttons! I finished the card with a cute sentiment. Hope Owl's Well...

There you have it!

I created this card with inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

and Colourq color challenge.
Thanks for popping in!

Little Darlin' Thanks a Bunch!

Hello~

This is my second post for the day to see my Colourq card please scroll down or click here.
I am back with another Thank You card. I never seem to have enough of these on hand, but I am also working on some cards for a fundraiser and who doesn't need cute thank you notes right?

My card uses Wilson Designs Stamps from the Everything's Owl Right and Let's Rock collection. Super cute stamps to play with for sure.
I embossed the background for a little extra texture and I love how the eyelet dies coordinates so well.  However, what is not showing up in the picture is the white glitter paper...darn. It looks so pretty as a backdrop for that cute Polaroid. After rain this morning, the sun is coming into the house so nice and bright, but almost too bright to get a decent photograph.
I used the color inspiration from The Color Throwdown Challenge.
I used the CAS-ual Fridays Sketch this week. I took a little creative liberty and alerted slightly.
Thanks for letting me share my creative outlet with you today!
~Tammy~

Hello Friend OTWC 54

Hello Friend~
Yes, that would be all of you! :-) I hope you had a great week! It's time for another Off The Wall Craftiness Color Challenge, and we want YOU to play along with us.
I started out with a Top Note die from Stampin' Up! (Thank Laurel) and I pulled out some of my Wilson Design Stamps which is always so much fun. For this card, I used three different Wilson Design Sets. Everything's Owlright , Spring Silhouettes, and Simply Silhouettes. I stamped my owl twice. Once on the branch and then stamped and fussy cut him out and popped him on for added dimension.

Take a look at the inspiration and colors for OTWC 54.

Sponsor is Kellys Creative Design

I can't wait to see what you come up with. If you use Wilson Design Stamps, you will be entered into the random drawing twice, just leave Kim a comment. To find out more information about the challenge and the sponsor this week, head on over to Off The Wall Craftiness for the details.

On another note, please head over to Fascinating Fridays, where this week we are featuring Kate and her fabulous creations. It's always great to get to know other fellow crafters and be inspired by their work.

Have a fabulous weekend!

Color Throwdown

Hi!

Just popping on with a quick little post and a simple little card! Going back to my CAS style today for a Thank You note and using the Color Throwdown Colors.

I am a little disappointed in that I couldn't capture the dimension in my photograph, but the saffron layer is popped up with foam mounting tape, and the butterfly wings are actually bent upward glued in the center, and I added some beautiful yellow pearls to the center. The sentiment panel is mounted up as well.  My sentiment is from Wilson Designs Everythings Owlright. My buttons are a variety I have on hand, but most of them are from Stampin' UP!
Before I go, I thought I would share my "not so great pictures" from the final Shuttle Endeavour launch today. I am fortunate enough to be about an hour away from the launch pad, so we can see it come up above our trees.  I had my camera in hand, but not on the right setting, so missed the best photo op, but I figured I would share what I have anyway.

Hope you all are off to a great week so far!

Thanks a Bunch Off The Wall Craftiness 53

Hi Ya!
It's been two weeks, so it's time for another Off The Wall Craftiness Color Challenge.  The Sponsor this weeks is Through The Craft Room Door Magazine.

I created a Kraft card base then added layers of varies papers from my scrap pile that worked perfectly for the OTWC colors. Adding a tag stamped from Wilson Designs Everything's Owlright, a fluffy seam binding bow, some buttons, a doily, and I couldn't resist finishing off with this adorable nest of eggs.
Here's a look at your inspiration storyboard and colors for this challenge:
(note, do as I say not as I do...when I first saw the colors I pulled them up on a different monitor and went to work. so it's actually not blue as seen in mine card, but a good example is Ocean Tides, by PTI and I am in no way making an endorsement here.)

Hi There!

Hope this finds your week going well!

I have a very quick and very simple card for you, but using some very COOL stamps none the less which makes putting together a fast card a cinch! My Mom was invited to a baby shower, so I made her a card to take.

The sailboat I paper pieced is from Wilson Designs Nauti-Cool and that adorable Polaroid Frame is from Everything's Owl Right set also by Wilson Designs. The Baby sentiment is from DeNami Designs.  Again, this card looks way better in real life, but I thought it would be fun to share with you today and fun to link up to My Craft Spot: Bundle of Joy.

A Polaroid Thanks!

Hi!

I have a quick little post today that plays along with Jay Gee's Nook challenge 4 and Sketchy Sunday! I also thought I would play along again at: Do You Stack Up: Dots

I Love this Polaroid Frame that Kim Wilson designed back in her November release Everything's Owlright. I decided to pull it out today for a quick thank you note using the inspiration from the above mentioned challenges.

I decided to flip flop the embellishment part of Tiff's sketch. My butterfly is from Wilson Designs Spring Silhouettes . I stamped it in Memento Pear Tart, fussy cut it, and then I sugar coated it with some beautiful glitter. That adorable little Owl is also from Wilsons Designs  Everything's Owlright.
Well, I hope you have a fantabulous weekend!

Thanks a Bunch! CR84FN15

Happy Thursday!

I have not had a chance to play at CR84FN yet, so I took some time today to pull out my Wilson Designs Stamp sets and put something together quickly since I need a Thank You note! My inspiration started with this butterfly punch I just recently purchased because I was enabled by my teammate Amy who encouraged me to go out and get it, so of course I had to do just that, and then I had to get the coordinating border punch! :-)

Lovely spring colors this week for their challenge, so that also inspired me to use my butterfly from Wilson Designs Spring Silhouettes. Also, a couple of the design team members used them, so it just kept coming back to me. One of my favorite things to do is create my own background paper with repeat stamping. Another favorite of mine is to stamp my sentiment over a focal image as I have done here.  My sentiment is from Wilson Designs Everythings Owlright. It's just an easy go to technique for a clean and simple design when you need a card quickly!

I punched three of those wonderful new butterflies out and then coated them with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. I had some twine that graduates in color, so I spun some of that around for fun!

I am also playing along with the Paper Cutz Challenge 78 - Ladybugs, Bees or Butterflies, Crafts and Me Challenges - Spread Your Wings and Fly.

Hope you all are having a fabulous Thursday!

Jolly Wishes...

Hi there, Friends!
I am holding my breath that this post will do so correctly! I have no idea what is going on with blogger, but my last post was a mess, and would not let me correct or change a thing. So, I am going to try and write a boring old left justified post. (yawn) It was crazy, and to make matters worse it was for my Wilson Designs release post. Eek! Hope you go over and check out Kim Wilson's cute line of stamps! They are a Hoot! :-)
I have a quick little card for you today using Wilson Designs' Snowy Wishes and Everything's Owl-Right.
I used the snowflake to create my background on my card panel as well as inside my Snow Globe! I then created my Snowlady. I added some pearls for a pretty little feminine touch! I added some rhinestones to the snowflakes on the inside of the snow globe as well as some glitter snow! At the base of the snow globe I used the flower center from Everything's Owl-Right to create a random polka-dot pattern.
To Finish things off, I added my Jolly Wishes greeting to my card front.
Here is a close up!
I went back and forth to add some rhinestones to the sentiment panel, but I left it alone! I always like to add bling, but I went ahead and kept this more clean and simple!
I am adding this to the Everything But The Kitchen Sink Challenge which is a color challenge this go around.
This card also works well with another challenge that I saw on Courtney Baker's blog. It's Jay Gee's Nook You can check out her inspiration challenge photo! Isn't it so pretty?
Well, I'm sending you Jolly Wishes!
Thanks for stopping by, I always love hearing
from you!
Hope you have a great weekend!
~Tammy~
