Alweer zo'n geweldig pakje bij de post! Deze keer waren het deze prachtige schaartjes die ik bij Yuko besteld had. Another great package arrived by mail! This time I received these gorgeous scissors that I ordered from Yuko . Ik heb meteen een leuk hoekje gecreëerd met een van de schaartjes. De pinkeep kreeg ik een keer van Edgar in een exchange. Yesterday I cleaned my stitching room. It always get very dusty, because of the sewing and the fabric cutting. But I thought this was a good moment to show you some pictures of it. Welcome in my little craft room! On the left, behind the door, is our computer. Here's where I email, blog and chat with you guys! And ofcourse get a lot of inspiration by surfing the net. My harddisk is full of charts and ideas that I should make once... The cutting corner ;) This cupboard used to hang in our old kitchen from our previous house. My dad repainted it, and now it's in good use again. In it are some pretty things I received in exchanges or made myself. This is the Stitchers tray from Maryse. It's filled with pinkeeps, pincushions, biscornu's, needlebooks, a hornbook and a needleroll. All of them were received in exchanges. It's my treasurebox! This is my view when I'm sewing... I had a bit of exchange-stress.... I have so much exchanges going on at the moment, that I had to organise it a little. DS had a birthday-party this afternoon, so I spend my time on the attic, where I have my stitching/stash-room. I had to decide what to make for which exchange and then search for patterns, fabric, floss etc. So now I have 4 new projects ready to start! Yesterday someone told me something that gave me a lot of peace, and I found myself so stupid that I didn't thought of it myself... She pointed me to the fact that not all of the exchanges had to be stitched, but also could be some other crafting! WOW, what an eyeopener! Thanks for that Karen ! After I kitted up all the exchanges, I also finished the Harvest House exchange for the SBEBB. I had it stitched already during my vacation. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.
