ATELIER SOED IDEE

Toen An Moonen helaas niet bij Bep kon komen een paar weken geleden, had Bep gezorgd voor een alternatief. We hebben een heerlijke dag gehad en lekker in de tuin zitten handwerken aan een schattige sleutelhuisje. Die van mij is thuis een beetje in de vergetelheid geraakt, maar met deze temperaturen was het een heerlijk werkje voor buiten. Gebaseerd op het Tilda-strandhuisje heb ik ook nog deze vrolijke huisjes-hangers gemaakt. Die mogen morgen mee naar m'n kraampje in Oosterbeek. Wat zijn die kleuren van French General toch prachtig hè? When I was at Bep's a few weeks ago, I started working on this little Key-house. Back home I forgot it completely, but yesterday I finished it outside in the garden. I also made this little houses based on the Tilda beach house. They are coming with me to my booth in Oosterbeek tomorrow. Don't you just love the French General colors? Have a nice weekend! Hugs, Simone

Tijdens de Brocante fair in IJsselstein leerde ik Nadia van "La Cerise Sur Le Gateau" kennen. Een Francaise die de heerlijkste taarten bakt! Zij heeft mij gevraagd of ik twee Hollandse toilettasjes wilde maken, voor haar Franse nichtjes. Natuurlijk wilde ik dat wel! De eerste heb ik vanmiddag gemaakt, voor de andere moet ik eerst nog even vulling halen. Die wordt overigens precies tegenovergesteld van kleur. Het patroon van het tasje is van Tilda. During the Brocante fair I've met Nadia from "La Cerise sur Le Gateau". A French lady who makes the most delicious cakes! She asked me if I could make two Dutch Make-up bags, for her French cousins. Of course I can! I've made the first one this afternoon, for the other one I need to buy new fusible interfacing first. The design of the bag is from Tilda. Hugs, Simone

Ik had weer twee bestellingen voor een speldenkussen. Als het goed is valt deze vandaag bij IV in de bus. I got some more orders for a pin pillow. This one will arrive on IV's doorstep today, if all goes well. Deze heb ik vandaag voor de TV bij de Koningin in Zeeland zitten borduren, maar dat is een verrassing voor iemand, dus het blijft nog even anoniem. Ook leuk om hem nu eens in een heel andere kleur te zien! En wat combineert dat blauw prachtig bij de nieuwe Rural Jardin stof... Hij lijkt me trouwens ook heel mooi in het wit. This one is a present for someone, so it has to stay anonymous. It's nice to see it in a totally different color! And it combines perfect with this Rural Jardin fabric... I think it will also looks great in white. Ik ben ook nog aan zo'n speldenkussen voor mezelf begonnen, dat wordt dan m'n demonstratie model ;) Is geloof ik de zesde keer dat ik hem borduur!  I started a pin pillow for myself also, as a model ;) It's the sixth time I...

Isn't he great??? The moose from Tilda: I wanted to make this last year, but than Christmas came too soon ;) So I started this early to make sure it's ready in time. I saw this Tilda heart on several blogs. I don't have this particular Tilda book, but it isn't that hard to draw a heart, isn't it? So I did and "pimped" it a little with a ribbon, some buttons and jojo's and voilá... There it is! It's hanging on my frontdoor, pointing our names out ;) I was wondering....
