CCR DT Post - Animal Time

Welcome back to another challenge with the CCR! We know how busy this time of the year is for everyone so we made sure to make these next few challenges super fun and super easy! We hope you will play along!

We challenge you to create a new project for any theme that includes an animal!

For your inspiration today, I've created two different projects.  The first is a two-page layout that I created for an album that I am creating for my youngest son for Christmas.  Dad decided to buy him a monster truck that he had to put together.  I snapped a bunch of pictures and will put them in this layout.

TWO PAGE LAYOUT - Page 1

Page 2

Materials:
All Papers are from my stash

cuts from swaps hosted on my blog

font from Superman Cricut cartridge

My second project is a card that I used by combining an image from Paper Crafting World and K. Andrew's stamps.  It's a tri-fold card that is super easy to create. I just LOVE this penguin.  The sentiments are a combination of several stamps sets from K. Andrews. I love that her stamps make it so easy to combine them and create the perfect sentiment.

Materials:

Recollections cardstock

Penguin Wiped Out digital stamp from Paper Crafting World

Papercrafting World

Happy Tuesday!  This is Christel a.k.a. Scrappin' Sista here with another card for your viewing pleasure.  The challenge this week at Paper Crafting World is to use a PCW digi  OR a non-PCW stamped image and create a project that is birthday themed and has glitter.  You will have until May 30th to enter the challenge.  Melin, our fearless leader, has been handing out FREEBIES on our sister site Cooking With Cricut all this month so you can get digis there.

Here is my card that I created for my mother to take to a 89-year-old lady for her birthday celebration.

This card is a standard A2 card.  The images are stamped on the inside and the blue paper on the front is embossed.  The image is colored using my Bic Mark-it markers.  I added some Stickles and voila!

Be sure to stop over at Paper Crafting World to see all the beautiful work that my DT sisters have for your inspiration.  Hope to see you soon.  Happy Scrappin'!

Paper Crafting World DT Project - Pink with Ribbons

Happy Tuesday!  This is Christel a.k.a. Scrappin' Sista here with another card for your viewing pleasure.  The challenge this week at Paper Crafting World is to use a PCW digi  OR a non-PCW stamped image, two shades of pink, and ribbon on a project.  You will have until May 16th to enter the challenge.  Melin, our fearless leader, has been handing out FREEBIES on our sister site Cooking With Cricut all this month so you can get digis there.

Here is my inspiration for the challenge.  I used her Rose in a Vase digital stamp for my creation. Once again, my handy dandy Bic Mark-Its did the job.  I still don't have Copics so I do the best I can with what I have. I think it turned out pretty darn well if I say so myself.  LOL!!!  I added stickles for interest and stitching around the edges.  The sentiment is embossing on the circle and I tied it all off with a piece of grossgrain yellow and white ribbon.  I hope you enjoy my card.  Thanks for stopping by.  Now, I'm looking to see if you join in our challenges.  Happy a scrappy day!

PaperCraftingWorld DT Project - Flowers

Happy Monday!  I hope you all enjoyed Resurrection Sunday! I certainly did.

Well...I'm here with my very first project as a Paper Crafting World DT member.  As I said last week, I've switched over and am now working with Melin on her new site.  I surely hope you'll join us for our challenges.  There are cool prizes up for grabs and we're trying to spread the word.

So this week's challenge is flowers.  You have to use them on your project.  You can get her cute digis either at her store and/or by subscribing to her weekly newsletter.  So sign up and get in on the fun.

For my project, I used one of Melin's cute digis.  Using my handy dandy Bic markers, chalk, Glossy Accents, flowers, buttons, and Stickles, I got busy creating this door hanger. I really hope you enjoy it as it was a lot of fun to create.  Thanks for viewing and head on over to see what my DT sisters created and join in on all the fun.
