CCR DT Post - Animal Time

Welcome back to another challenge with the CCR! We know how busy this time of the year is for everyone so we made sure to make these next few challenges super fun and super easy! We hope you will play along!

We challenge you to create a new project for any theme that includes an animal!

For your inspiration today, I've created two different projects.  The first is a two-page layout that I created for an album that I am creating for my youngest son for Christmas.  Dad decided to buy him a monster truck that he had to put together.  I snapped a bunch of pictures and will put them in this layout.

My second project is a card that I used by combining an image from Paper Crafting World and K. Andrew's stamps.  It's a tri-fold card that is super easy to create. I just LOVE this penguin.  The sentiments are a combination of several stamps sets from K. Andrews. I love that her stamps make it so easy to combine them and create the perfect sentiment.

CCR DT Thursday Post

Are you ready for another super fun challenge at the Creative Cutter Room?

We have a Fun challenge for you today!

The Challenge: Create A new project with the theme Thank you, Thanksgiving or a Turkey! Super fun and easy!

I created this thank you card for my project today.  I have to mass produce these as I am behind on sending out thank you cards.  So, I wanted something I could recreate easily but would be cute.  I used the Gypsy Wanderings Cricut cartridge, Divine Swirls Cuttlebug Folder, Laurel Leaf Martha Stewart border punch, K. Andrews Positive Thoughts Stamp Set, and embossings powder.  

You have until October 19, 2011 to enter your project.

Splish Splash - CCR DT Project

Happy Thursday and welcome to another challenge over at Creative Cutter Room.  This week's challenge is to create a project that includes water.

For my project, I created a get "whale" card for my cousin who is in the ICU. The final card measures 4.25" x 5.5".  The whale is cut from the Gypsy Wanderings Cricut cart while the sentiment was printed on the computer and cut out using a paper punch.  Pop dots and my white gel pen helped to add the finishing touches to this card.

Creative Cutter Design Time Thursday

Happy Thursday!  I'm so excited to announce that today is Design Time Thursday over at Creative Cutter Room.  The theme is "Love Bugs" and boy you should see the eye candy the DT has created!  The team whose term is this half of the year, has blown my mind with their creativity.  I can't wait until it's my turn.  Then again, I better get myself together.  I've a lot of work to do. LOL!!! The prize this time is the Jasmine Cricut Cartridge.

Happy Monday!  So...I'm not sure if you noticed but there is a new badge on the left side. I know it's small.  She's working out some kinks. I'm so happy that Cathie of Creative Cutter choose me to join her Design Team for 2011. There are some really talented ladies on the team.  I'm proud to call many of Scrappin' Sistas.  It's a great opportunity and I can't WAIT to get started.  I'll be designing during the second half of this year and serving as a Guest Designer during the first half. Hop on over to Creative Cutter and check everyone out.  If you don't know about Cathie, you outta!  She teaches classes, organizes retreats, and is organizing an Alaskan cruise.  I wanna go Cathie!  Anyhoo...I can't wait to see what else this year has in store for me.
