Both cuffs

If you remember I had previously stitched the right cuff but had to pull it out because I had slanted the ground fiber in the wrong direction. It is now stitched correctly and I moved to the bottom to finish the small section of the center band. I put it all in and realized I was off by one thread. I pulled it all out and gladly set this aside until next week! Did you ever have one of those nights? LOL

With this stitch, I have this happen ALL THE TIME. I think this stitch hates us. But it is very pretty when it is finished and your colors look superb on the black canvas.

Each step means we have a little less of this to do so take heart.

Poor Pat,

Oh yes, it has happened to me in the past, not often though fortunately for me.

It usually means one of two things with me: I am either too tired for stitching at that moment or I just don't feel like working on this particular project at that time and should have listened to my inner voice instead of forcing myself to work on it just the same. I am now much better at this. If I don't feel like it, then I either take some time off or work on some other projects. There usually is one that calls my name :-)

I will be starting working on Tony's kimono early in December after we receive the last installment and we will finally see the complete picture.

I have plenty to keep me busy in the meantime (grinning)

I do this when I'm stitch drawing a symmetric canvas design if I do it at night when I'm tired and/or a bit distracted. It's maddening when I get ONE little dot off, and nothing meets where it should, as it ruins the canvas and I have to start over on a new one. I did it again last night.

Hi Pat,

So sorry to hear that you are difficulties!

Yep, I have those days. And that's when I fine something safer to do, such as vacuuming or cleaning out cupboards! LOL!!!
