Instead of finishing this as one ornament, I turned it into three little ones. I did the twisted cord and attached a piece of white felt to the back. Dated them all and they are done.

Miss April, part six
All three pieces are ready for finishing. I cut the canvas apart, the second shows the binding stitches done. The third shows the edges folded back ready to stitch the flaps down.

Miss April, part five
I have finished the last row on the design that has to be worked on the stretcher bars. I need to cut them apart and start the binding stitch around each piece.

Miss April, part four
I only included two of the three trying to capture the correct color. The Pebbly Perle Smyrna's are still too yellow, but I corrected as best I could. I finished all of the eyelet variations. I added two rows of Continental in the overdyed Kreinik #8 and have started the next pattern of overdyed floss next to tht.

Miss April, part three
I have added the final eyelet stitch with the lavender Fyre Werks. The next row is more Smyrna crosses in Pebbly Perle, which is a pale yellow, not the funky one that shows up. Then I have started another eyelet variation in Splendor.

Miss April, part one
I have started Miss April and have set up the first two ornaments. The canvas cut allows for three of the same ornament on the cut. I will do all three and have extra for gifts.

Quickie Project
Next up is a quickie project! Christmas Ornaments II chart is by Carolyn Mitchell Designs. The designs are worked on 6 x 13 inch cuts of 18 count canvas. This size will make 3 ornaments of the same design if desired. I am going to get this on the bars and start with Miss April.
