Grateful for you Scarecrow Thanksgiving Card

Hello friends. Meg here, with a card just in time for Thanksgiving (in the USA), in a few days. This is a sneak peek of a new scarecrow digital stamp by KGC. The sentiment stamps are from the You Inspire Me clear stamp set. I started off my making a clean and simple background using spray inks. My personal favorite are Heidi Swapp Color Shine and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. I used a variety of both to make the organic looking, blue and green background. I then printed my digital stamps from my laser printer. I colored the scarecrow using Copic markers. To add details I used a clear Stardust Gelly Roll pen from Sakura. I then fussy cut the colored imaged and outlined the white edges using my black Tombow Dual Brush Marker. I then heat embossed the sentiment "Grateful for you in my life" using Brass colored embossing powder from Hero Arts. Isn't this sentiment just perfect for the holidays?! I recommend you checking it out as there are multiple saying you ca

Vintage Tea Blessings Card, Coloring One Layer Wonder

Hello stamping and card-making friends. Meghan here, to share this gorgeous one-layer-wonder,  vinatge tea blessings card. I used the fabulous KGC stacked stitched rectangles and cut the largest rectangle from white cardstock. I then stamped these beautiful images from the vintage tea clear stamp set using Copic friendly ink (simon says stamp intense black). I stamped the cup then masked the image to stamp the teapot behind the cup. I colored all of the images with my Copic markers. Then it was time for the fun details. I went a little heavy on the little finishing touches since I was planning on this to be just a simple one layer greeting card. I added some metallic accents using my Sakura metallic and Stardust gelly roll pens. Lastly, using a fine tip black pen I went over all of the stamped black lines for the whole card. I know this seems like a tedious and unneeded step however, I assure you - it makes a HUGE difference and was totally worth the time!
