Grace's Bouquet

Jill here on the Kennedy Grace Creations blog with an elegant Get Well card featuring the stamp set Grace's Little Note .  Although I used another stamp set on this card, I highlighted the Kennedy Grace Creations stamp by coloring it in with bright, vivid Copic markers.  I left the other stamping in  neutral tones or very pale blue to keep the focus on our flowers.  I used a lot of masking on this card, heat- embossing with Ranger's Liquid Platinum embossing powder of the background floral image from The Ton's stamp, Peony Bouquet and then for the crystal bowl from the same stamp set, I used MFT's Hybrid ink in both Grout Grey and Blu Raspberry so that I could add additional Copic coloring for shading and the water in the bowl. Masking of the flowers that allowed me to heat-emboss around them. For added interest, I partial die cut the crystal bowl using the matching die, added some Fun Foam to the back to give it dimension, then adhered it on top of

Finetec flowers

Hello there my crafty friends!  During the last 30 day coloring challenge I had a little time to play along with the coloring.  I pulled out my stash of Finetec watercolors.  I love these little gems!  The metallic finish and sparkle is just amazing.  I just couldn't decide on which colors to use so I did several different colors. To start, I cut several pieces of black cardstock and treated it with anti-static powder.  I then took the main rose stamp from the Just A Rose set and stamped it with Versamark ink.  Just like picking the paint colors, I couldn't decide on a single embossing powder!  I did one in black, one white, one white pearl, one silver, one rose gold and one gold.  Now to paint them all!  I must admit I had lots of fun playing with the Finetec paints. :-) I'll tease you with one of the finished cards! I fussy cut all of the flowers out and thought about what to do with them all.  I wanted them to be the focal point of the cards.  I blew the dust
Hello dear friends! Martha Lucia here to wish you the west during this year! We are so happy to have you as visitor on Kennedy Grace Creations Blog and today I am sharing a card that I made with one of my favorites stamp sets, the Grace's Little Note but to make this I used Big Letters Die cuts! I made this card inspired on in our January Challenge, a great idea using the a Tic-Tac-Toe that our coordinator prepared. I selected the diagonal line: Die Cut, Embossing and Flowers ! The easy way for my creativity time during this season of the year, because I am in transition time! Well the flowers came from the stamp set Grace's Little Note . I stamped them over whisper white cardstock using Versamark and then covered with Golden Flame Embossing Powder from WOW! I love this shiny touch that this powder gave to my flowers. After melt the powder I cut the word HEY using the Large Letters Framelits Dies by Stampin Up . I also cut the same letters using white fun

Happy New Year from Kennedy Grace Creations!

Happy New Year to you all!  It's Brenda here, and I'm kicking off 2018 for Kennedy Grace Creations .  This month we are switching it up a bit and instead of having a mood board, we have a fun Tic Tac Toe Board for inspiration. I picked the bottom row to inspire my card so I will be using buttons, sequins and flowers on my creation.  It seemed so perfect with all the wonderful flower sets and the awesome sequin collections.  I chose to use the beautiful stamp set Kindness Medley  and a wonderful sequin collection called Enchanted Evening .  Here's what happened - I stamped the flower (Tic) image three times on heavyweight vellum with VersaMark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I colored the flowers on the back of the vellum using Copic Markers.  The sentiment was stamped with VersaFine ink to get the nice dark image.  I love the size of this stamp which is also in the Kindness Medley set.  I put my ScanNCut to work cutting out the sentiment whi

Tags abound

Hiya to all the crafty people who are stopping by at the Kennedy Grace Creations blog today.  I'm here with a bit of a treat.  I have LOTS of tags to show you.  The best part is that I'm showing different ways to use the same stamp sets.  I hope this gets you thinking! When I first started on my project the only thing I really had in my mind was that I wanted to make tags and I wanted to use some of the gorgeous Kennedy Grace Creations sequins.  I mean, have you looked at all the different sequins they have available?? Let's dive right in to the first set. Look at all the pretty sequins!  Let's take it tag by tag so I can give you all the details. I started by cutting out a piece of cream colored cardstock with a stitched die.  This was not intended to be a tag but I punched out a hole and instant tag!  I stamped the floral image from Grace's Little Note  and heat embossed it in silver.  I masked it and sponged on Antique Linen distress oxide ink.

Let's get in the "Mood"...

Let's get in the "mood" and by mood, I mean the latest Mood Board from Kennedy Grace Creations for this month!!  The colors are just gorgeous.  See for yourself! So now that you've seen my inspiration, let's get to it! I have recently learned to make never ending cards.  There are tons of great tutorials already out there and I found several on YouTube.  These things are awesome and now I just can't stop!  I figured this was the perfect time to make another one AND use lots of lovely products from KGC.  I'm going to take you through panel by panel. I used a dark red as my main card base for the entire card.  The patterned cardstock all comes from the same 6" x 6" paper pad "A Perfect Autumn" from Echo Paper.  The gold glitter cardstock is made by Die Cuts With a View. For this panel I used the Believe sentiment from You Inspire Me  and the flowers are from Grace's Little Note .  I heat embossed them with a gold em

November Mood Board - It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Hello everybody, It's Donna here, and I'm so excited to be sharing a card that I made using the November mood board. I love using mood boards, because sometimes it's hard to know where to start, and the mood board gives me direction and inspiration. We'd love to see what others do with the mood board, so don't forget to share and tag us if you play along. All the links are at the bottom of this post! So, here is my card... I stamped the beautiful images from the " Grace's Little Note " stamp set, and heat embossed them with gold glitter embossing powder on a piece of watercolour paper. I then watercolored the flowers using three layers of red and pink, and coloured between the flowers with raw sienna.  I cut out a window from a piece of off white card, and, using two circle dies, I cut a thin frame for the hole from gold glitter paper. I used the same glitter paper to make the string and top of the bauble, but I just cut these freehand.
