A Little Inspiration

Good day all!  It's Brenda here with a few little creations I made using the Kennedy Grace stamp set, Inspirational Verses .  I made these tags to give to co-workers, friends or even as inspiration for myself.  I keep them in my " war binder " ready if they are needed.  If you are not familiar with a war binder, quite simply it is a cross between a planner, bible journal and a scrapbook.   The first three tags were foiled.   The verses were stamped on cardstock with VersaFine onyx black and adhered to the tags. You'll see a lot of shine going on here.  Which I happen to love. This tag was also foiled and a few of the beautiful Kennedy Grace Creations Frozen sequins were added for another pop of shine. The last foiled tag was mounted on a metallic die cut for a little extra pizzazz . The background for this card was smooched with water colors and sequins from the  Autumn  Blessings  mix were added. And the last tag was e

Using Complementary Colours

Hello! It's Donna . I'm back with yet another card using the Friendship Blessings stamp set. I just can't get enough of this stamp. The clean petals make it a dream to colour. I have to admit to going out and purchasing another yellow Copic marker just so I could get the shading I wanted on this image. (I know, I suffer, right?) Once I'd coloured the image in Copics, I cut it out, leaving a white border around the edge. I then used a colour wheel to work out the exact complementary colour of the yellow. It was a blue, with just a hint of red in it. I mixed this colour using my watercolours. You can see that it took two layers to get the colour exactly right - the first set of lines were slightly too blue. The yellow really pops with the complementary colour underneath, don't you think? I spattered some black paint on the background (which I die cut with a wonky stitched rectangle die) before adding the image, and then popping the sentiment up on foam tape

Romantic card with Friendship Blessings

Hello dear friends!  Martha Lucia  here to share with you a colorful card created with Kennedy Grace Creations Stamps! Today I used the Friendship Blessings stamp set and let me tell that for me is really difficult decide which stamp use because these flowers are totally gorgeous. Take a look at my card:   The base of my card is Melon Mambo card stock and the second layer is a piece of decorated paper from the Everyday Spring Collection from Lemon Craft that you can find on Craftycity.com. Used a tiny piece of the other design of the same paper I created a vertical belt, I pasted behind of this piece a layer of fun foam white to give more dimension and paste it on the right side.   Over a piece of whisper white card stock I stamped one of the images included on the stamp set Friendship Blessings using Versafine Onix and covered it with with Clear Embossing Powder . I gave a few touches of color with a paint brush and Kuratake Gansai and fussy cut the image with my sci

Inspirational Verses

Hi there!  It's Brenda here today sharing a project I made a while back.  This card was created using wonderful products from the last Kennedy Grace release.  I absolutely loved the Inspirational Verses stamp set.  Here's the card that was made using a simple layout and some of the gorgeous Chantilly Cream sequins - The verses were stamped on a scrap of watercolor paper along with several of the sweet little small flowers from Beautiful Bloom - Sweet Rose .  I got my watercolors out, dropped in some color and then fussy cut them.  I matted the sentiment on a scrap of grey cardstock and adhered the flowers.  The bottom mat was created with an embossing folder and a couple of cardstock scraps in appropriate colors were added on top.  The verse was layered next with the gorgeous sequins being the crowning touch!  Love sequins and especially these Chantilly Cream sequins!!! I hope today's post inspires you to get out your stamps, papers and of course seq

Blessings To You

Hello everyone! It's Berina here today! I'm here to inspire you to create something with our beautiful Mood board for November. I love the beautiful Christmas colors. This pic really inspired me to do gold embossing, which is one of my all time favorites. And here's the card that I made:  I took a watercolor cardstock panel of size 4" x 5.25" and stamped the flowers from the Grace's Little Notes stamp set repeatedly after masking and embossed it with gold embossing powder. Then I watercolored the flowers with Distress Ink Barn Door. For the leaves, I used Distress Ink Antique Linen. I love this color combination! For the sentiment, I used the "Blessings To You" from the Vintage Tea Cup stamp set and embossed it with gold embossing powder. I inked the edges of the top folding A2 card base with Distress Ink Barn Door and adhered the watercolor panel on to it using glue. That's it!   Please join in with us and share your creation
Hello dear friends! Martha Lucia here with you today!  A day filled with happiness should be everyday. I am this kind of person that think that if you do what you love you are happy and I am so happy using this stamp set called Beautiful Blooms - Hydrangea from Kennedy Grace . This month the mood board of Kenny Grace Creations is plenty of inspiration, combining gold with rose red colors, It inspires me to use Metallic Gold Embossing Paste and stencil to create the background of my card. I used Spiral Petals Stencil from Hero Arts over a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and let dry very well before to paste over the whisper white card base . I stamped the  Beautiful Blooms - Hydrangea three times over watercolor paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with distress inks before to fussy cut them with my scissors . I used two colors of distress ink for coloring the flowers, Candied Apple and Abandoned Coral and two colors of distress ink for coloring the leaves
