Baby's 1st Christmas using Kennedy Grace Creations

Hello, it's Beverly here today!! I know you all may be out shopping this being Black Friday but with Christmas around the corner, I am hustling to get my holiday greeting cards out for all my favorite people in the world! One of those is my girlfriend who just had her baby girl, and I have delighted in "playing helper" to her and her family.  Such a pleasure to have a newborn baby in your arms, isn't it!! Well I felt I really wanted to make her an extra special card using  Kennedy Grace Creations Baby Be Mine Stamp set  paired with  Sweet Baby Mine Sequins  to make this delightful shaker for Baby's 1st Christmas. First I started with a trial run of coloring this cute giraffe in pink. It just didn't make me happy. I tried again and made her yellow with pink dots, and that seemed to be a more natural look, so I went with that one. The original mock up was not as bright, so I tried more intense colors. Baby Congratulations

Hello everybody! It's Donna here, and spring has finally sprung in my part of the world! I'm so excited to see the sun after so long. I've made a baby congratulations card to share with you today. I've used the Sweet Baby Mine stamp set to make this card. I stamped the sweet image in Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured it in using only very pale Copic markers.  I cut a window in a piece of white cardstock to make a shaker card. The sequins I used are from Kennedy Grace and are called Kindness Medley . Finally, to stamp the sentiment, I used two colours of ink, first inking up the whole stamp in light blue, and then inking just the lower part in a darker shade of blue. So until next time, may your days be filled with sparkle! Blessings,  Donna

Congratulations!

Hello there!  Cindy from In Love with PAPER back on the blog today.  I've got another cute baby card to share.  I've used the stamp set Sweet Baby Mine and the Winter Mint sequin mix.   I stamped the image on the green dot patterned paper and colored it.  Then to add some dimension I stamped the image again on a scrap of white cardstock and then colored it and fussy cut it out, trimming off his mane and tail.  Then I used pop dots to add the dimension.      Thanks for visiting KGC.  Have a wonderful day!!   Cindy

Baby Boy card bonanza!

Hi, Erica here with two cards today! For the release post I made two baby girl card and only one boy card. Naturally, all my friends have decided to give birth to baby boys recently so that one itty-bitty card was already spoken for. Time to remedy that with another two boy cards and the sweet  Sweet Baby Mine  stamp set. I started by cutting two A2 sized pieces of Strathmore Bristol Vellum card stock as I wanted to do an ink blended background for both cards. Using Post-It tape I taped strips across the panel to create a pattern, slightly different on both to keep it interesting. On one I went for blue and the other one got green and yellow. I also splattered more blue ink on the blue one and green ink on the green/yellow one. On another piece of Bristol I stamped two baby lions with VersaMark ink and heat embossed them in white embossing powder. These got coloured in with Zig markers and then fussy cut. On the blue card I also cut out a white frame as well
