Beautiful Blooms

Hello crafty friends!  Martha Lucia here with you. Today I prepared a project with one of the fabulous stamp set from Kennedy Grace Stamps. I used the Just a Rose Stamp set with color pencils and some die cuts. Take a look at my card: I stamped the flowers using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink over a whisper white layer of cardstock. I pasted this layer directly over the card base hat is whisper white too. Then I colored the flowers with Prismacolor Premier color pencils and when I was satisfied with coloring I created a frame using rectangle scallop die cut and decorated paper. I pasted the frame a little moved to create the idea of movement using double sided foam tape. In a separate piece of whisper white cardstock I stamped two sentiments included on the same stamp set  Just a Rose Stamp set using two different colors of Memento Ink, Lilac Lavender and Grape Jelly. I cut the sentiments and pasted over each flower using double sided foam tape or dimensionals. This stam

Believe, You Inspire Me

Hello everyone! Martha Lucia here to share a CAS card with you. Believe, You inspire Me is the card that I made inspired on December mood board of Kennedy Grace. Today I combined die cuts and stamps to create a Clear and Simple look with a very elegant touch. Take a look at my card: I used Whisper White card stock to create the base and second layer of the card and the stamp set You Inspire Me from Kennedy Grace to stamp the sentiments behind of the die cut flower and the big word Believe. But let me share the process to create the card: Create the card base Sponge the background over the card base using Marina Mist Classic Ink. Stamp the small sentiments over the sponged areas. Cut a second layer using whisper white card stock. Stamp the believe word using Memento Paris Dusk Ink Cut the flower die cut on the center of the second layer Paste the second layer over the card base Cut several layers with the same die cut on whisper white card stock and paste them one ove

Dark Blue Flower Card

Hello, dear friends! Marina is here. I'd love to show you my new card made exclusively with Just a Rose Stamps . I chose dark blue cardstock and embossed flowers with white embossing powder. Then I decided to color flowers inside the white frame with pencils of several blue shades. Leaves I colored with two shades of green. The sentiment YOU ARE SUCH A BLESSING I stamped on the white cardstock with black VersaFine ink and cut out. I also used sequins from the Frosted Cupcackes and  Leather and Pink Lace  Mixes. Be inspired! Marina Please be sure to follow the Kennedy Grace Creations blog , facebook , twitter , instagram and pinterest . Our Design Team has great projects to inspire you with our great stamp sets.

Farewell, Adieu, So Long

Hello everyone! Erica here with a bitter-sweet post, it is my last one as a DT member for Kennedy Grace Creations. I have decided to step down from the team to focus on my own blog, which is called CaCaCraft by Erica  and some exciting future endeavours coming my way. More will be revealed later this month and I’m so excited about it I can barely contain myself! Anyway, as this is my last post I thought I’d go out with a super, simple card focusing on an important message: Instead of going for something floral (big shocker, I know!! The flower mad girl ISN’T using a flower stamp?! Whatever next?) I used the sentiment ‘Sprinke each day with Kindness’ from the stamp set  Kindness Medley  and heatembossed it on black card stock with rose gold embossing powder. My idea was to create a shower of sequins falling over the sentiment to tie in with the ‘sprinkle’ in the sentiment. The sequins I used are from the fusion mix called  Unicorn  and I picked out all different sizes an

Black and White

Hi, Marina is here! Today I'm sahring a black&white card with golden accents. I was inspired by the lovely flowers from the amazing  Grace's Little Note set . As a sentiment I used YOU ARE AWESOME from the  Just a Rose Stamps . I really love the sentiments from this set, they are very stylish! All images are stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink, I adore it's rich color.  I also used  Jack Frost Sequins as delicate accents to match the vellum. Love and Laughter,

Super simple card with Erica

Buckle up people, today's card and post is a super quick one! Ready? I got some pink card stock out and used a scalloped square card die to create a card base. In the middle of the front I also die cut a scalloped circle to make a peek-a-boo card. On the inside of the card I stamped  Just A Rose  in black ink and added some details with Copic markers. Just some simple shading on the petals and some green on the leaves as well as some colour to the stamens. On the front I added a few clear gemstones and then it was done! Bam! Anyone got whiplash from that? LOL!! Sorry if you did but there isn't much more to add to this post so I will leave you to recover in peace now. Love and Laughter, Erica

Clean and Simple Hello There Card with Time To Blossom Stamp Set

Hello crafty and cardmaking friends! Meg here, with a quick and simple, yet gorgeous, handmade card using the Time To Blossom clear stamp set from Kennedy Grace Creations. I took the amazing floral stamp from this set and stamped it using VersaFine Onyx Black ink onto a Canson XL watercolor panel. I also stamped the sentiment, and heat embossed everything using Hero Arts clear embossing powder. Before coloring the flower, I took a Spectrum Noir sparkle pen in the color Sea Breeze and outlined the entire flower. I then blended out this very shimmery light blue color with water. The purpose of this was to add a subtle pop to the entire image since this card is very clean and simple. I then colored the flower using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. I used the following color for the leaves: 045 Pale Green and 047 May Green. For the flowers: 302 Haze Blue, 303 Shadow Mauve, 803 English Lavendar and 083 Lilac. To finish off the card I added some purple and green sequins

Pink flowers and gingham card

Hi everyone! What did I tell you about my next card being pink in my last blog post? Would anyone be shocked that this card is in fact pink? And very pink at that! No? No, I didn't think so, lol! Well, I went for the  Splendid Roses  again but just a single bunch this time and I used Zig markers instead of Copics. Blending together 2 different shades of markers for each flower and bud I made them all look slightly different but still pink to keep it cohesive. The leaves got coloured using a single green marker but lots of water and swish-swooshing to create some texture and different vibrancy. A light blue shade was added around the bunch of flowers as I seem unable to leave too much white on a card. Something to work on perhaps. When the colouring was done and dry, I trimmed the panel until it was quite slim. This I adhered to a pink gingham card stock with foam to raise it up a little bit and finally added that to a pink card base. This card is slimmer than my usual car

CAS Black and White Shimmer Sweet Rose Birthday Card

Hello crafty friends! Meg here with a quick and simple, elegant birthday card using the Beautiful Blooms - Sweet Rose Card. This handmade card has to be the easiest and quickest I have ever posted. To start, I cut the largest Scalloped Stacked Stitched Rectangle die from black cardstock. I then used the Beautiful Blooms - Sweet Rose clear stamps and stamped the happy birthday sentiment, and 3 roses randomly across the black panel. To finish it off, I colored each rose using the Spectrum Noir, clear shimmer, Sparkle Brush Pen. I added some black fun foam to the backside of the panel, and adhered it to a white, top-folding card base. Done!! Hope you like this easy heat embossing, Sweet Rose card! Thanks for stopping by to visit my post for Kennedy Grace Creations. ~Meghan Shea IG: meghanshea3377 FB: chloeandphoebecrafts  Love and Laughter,

Copic Coloring Beautiful Blooms - Sweet Rose

Hello cardmakers! Meg here, with a quick and easy, dimensional sweet rose window card. This card features the Beautiful Blooms - Sweet Rose stamp set and Scalloped Stitched Stacked Rectangle Dies. To start, I die cut 2 panels from white cardstock using the largest of the scalloped rectangle dies. I then used the scalloped circle die (which I purchased on Amazon), from the center of one of the panels. The other, solid panel, was then stamped with the sweet rose image using  Copic marker friendly ink. (I used Hero Arts - Intense Black Hybrid Ink). I colored the rose using the following Copic marker colors: R000, RV00, RV21 and RV13. To color the leaves I used my favorite green combination: YG03, YG17 and YG67. I then stamped the sentiment, "Wishing you the most beautiful day.' on the bottom of the panel with the die cut circle. I added dimensional foam tape behind that panel and adhered it directly on top of the colored rose - making a window, of sorts. To

Believe in your strength, Copic coloring with Grace's Little Notes

Hello cardmaking friends. First off, thank you so much for visiting my blogpost! Today I made a clean and simple floral card with lots of masking and Copic Markers. To begin, I stamped one of the small floral images from the Grace's Little Notes clear stamp set. I then stamped it 3 other times on masking paper and fussy cut them out. I continued stamping, masking each image as I went, until I achieved a bundle of flowers in the lower right hand corner of my card panel. Once the staping was complete, I die-cut the entire panel with the largest of the Stacked Stitched Rectangle Dies. I then used the You Inspire Me stamp set and stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Onyx blaxk ink. The sentiment reads 'Believe in your strength.'  I added clear embossing powder to it and heat set until a smooth, shiny, raised finish occured.  Then it was time for the fun part (for me anyways).... coloring!!! I pulled out my Copic markers and decided I wanted to go with pink fl

It's Time to Blossom, Stamping and Copic Markers

Hello everyone. Thank you for visiting my blogpost for Kennedy Grace Creations! To create this card, I used three Kennedy Grace Creations clear stamp sets; Splendid Rose, Time to Blosson and Grace's Little Notes. To begin, I diecut the largest of the Stacked Stitched Rectangle dies from Cryogen white, iridescent shimmer cardstock. This is my preferred cardstock for Copic Markers.  I then stamped a variety of flowers from the Time to Blossom and Grace's Little Notes stamp sets. I simply lined them along the bottom of the rectangle. I stamped them quickly and simply, next to one another, with zero masking.  I then stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink and heat embossed it using Hero Arts clear embossing powder. Then it was time for the Copic Marker coloring. I colored the flowers as follows; Orange: YR02, YR65, YR68 Dark Purple: V95, RV66, V99 Yellow: Y11, Y13, Y15 To finish off this clean and simple floral card, I added some Ku

Less than 10 minutes card!

Hello! Erica back on the blog today, probably still suffering a post-Valentine's Day sugar rush. I'm not much for celebrating Va-Da unless it involves chocolate or cake. I'd be lying if I said I would turn down a diamond but we are not big Va-Da people here. Va-Da is short and hip for Valentine's Day, don't'cha know? No? Maybe that sugar rush is making me say cray-cray things... Right, so a card. That's what y'all are here for? Ok, then, let's get to it. It's gonna be short and sweet today (no, for real this time) as this card is super quick and simple. There is no colouring, just a quick stamping and diecutting and some adhesives and bam! Using Kraft card stock I had laying around in a very convenient size, I grabbed my stunning  Sweet Rose  stamp as well as VersaMark ink and my trusted anti-static tool. Oh and my Mini-MISTI. Placing the stamp slightly off the piece of card stock, I dusted generously with the anti-static tool before

Clean and Simple Stamping and Copic Coloring with Splendid Rose

Hello cardmaking friends. Meg here, with a super quick and easy, clean and simple yet elegant, coral colores rose card. Perfect for any friend. To create this card I used the Scalloped Stacked Stitched Rectangle dies, Splendid Rose clear stamp set and Rainbow Sherbert Sequins. First, I cut the largest scalloped rectangle from Cryogen white, iridescent sparkle cardstock. This specialty cardstock had a gorgeous, subtle shimmer which is much more evident in real life versus in photographs. This is my preferred cardstock for coloring with Copic Markers. I stamped the gorgeous rose and friend sentiment, both from the Splendid Rose stamp set, using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. This hybrid ink is Copic friendly. I then quickly colored the rose using 3 different YR Copic Marker colors; YR61, YR02 and YR65.  I wanted to achieve a coral colored rose....however, it came out a little more orange than I expected. I love how it turned out, although it wasn't exactly what I

Spreading Kindess card

Hello everyone, Erica on the blog today! I don't know about you but I've been quite saddened to see so much hatred, friends attacking friends and general unkindness going around lately. Regardless of your political/religious/personal beliefs I think we can all do better with keeping it a bit civilised and perhaps doing less talking and more actions. With that in mind I made this card with a positive message to send out some positive karma into the world. Using an A2 panel cut out from Ranger Ink water colour paper, I dusted it generously with my anti-static tool as I was going to heat emboss the gorgeous  Just A Rose  stamp set. I started by stamping it in the middle with VersaMark ink and dusting it with white embossing powder, also from Ranger Ink. Using a mask I already had, I stamped it again on both sides to create a rose bush border, before adding and setting the embossing powder with my heat tool. Using a sentiment from Mama Elephant's 'Bu

Something a bit different

Hello, hello! Erica on the blog today with my second card of 2017. Boy, does time fly.. I can't believe it's the 15th of January already! Yikes. It's not just me, is it? Where is the time going? I can't quite keep up at times, it feels like. And I'm not even overly busy to be perfectly honest but still it seems like the days just poof by. With that in mind, I'm going to keep it relatively short today. Short for me anyway, lol! I know I usually jibber-jabber away about all aspects of the card of the day but today, I don't really see how I can drag it out too much. It really is a super simple card! My (current) favorite colour combination is navy and gold. I can't quite put my finger on why I love it so much but it just works in my mind. My original idea was to have a cutout saying 'thanks' but I made the navy panel too small and I had already heatembossed the lovely  Just A Rose  in gold embossing powder on it by the time I realised this.

Holiday Poinsettia Card w/ Copics and Fineliners

Happy December 1st, 2016 my crafty friends! Meg Shea here, to share this lovely sneak peek of Kennedy Grace Creations beautiful poinsettia digital stamp. This card was created using MINIMAL supplies! See below! I laser printed this image on Cryogen white 90lb. - a ultra smooth, subtle, beautiful, sparkle shimmer cardstock (see photo below). NOTE: I get this paper from The Paper Temptress if anyone is interested.... I highly recommend it for a variety of techniques, especially Copic coloring! I started coloring it using only five Copic markers! I used B00 and B02 to color the background. I colored the flowers with N0, N2 and N4. I then added extra subtle, small details with 4 colors of Steadler Triplus fineliners. The fineliner colors used were dark brown, red, light green and yellow.  I then die cut the colored panel using the stacked stitched rectangle dies. I cut the largest scalloped stacked stitched rectangle from some Simon Says Stamp Schoolhouse Red cards
