The Perfect Run-Away Day

One summer day in 2008, I experienced the most perfect day ever.
It was in Denver with Erin.
So, when I needed a perfect "run away" day, I decided to try to relive that same day.
In Denver with Erin.

Okay, sure, not the same Erin but there really is something about Denver.
And something about my friends named Erin.

The last time I was in Denver was for Erin's wedding. And the last time I flew to see that same Erin just for the day? A month before that wedding when I went to help her buy "the dress".

And I just needed to try and find that "perfect day" again.

SO...want to know the key to the perfect "Running Away" day?
(I still can't find the cord...so here are the cell phone pics. blast technology.)

RULE #1: Be at least 25 years of age and make sure at least one person knows where you're going (you don't want to be in the next "Lifetime Movie of the week").

RULE #2: Don't eat breakfast before the flight. Choose a city (i.e. DENVER) that has even cooler restaurants than SLC. Enjoy the only meal you'll need to eat for the day. (Snooze. That's all you need to know. Get the pancakes.)

RULE #3: Buy a really great bag at the boutique store but not before taking a picture and sending it to a friend to get permission. (For the record, I left the store without purchasing. But, when I went back and saw it still there? Well, a girl can't ignore a sign like that...seriously. Especially when you're with Erin. HOW CUTE is that bag?!)

RULE #4: Massage. Oxford Hotel. Enough said.

RULE #5: Use your calories wisely. Eat ice cream instead of lunch or dinner. (Little Man Ice Cream. Book your flight now.)

RULE #6: Be grateful you did it and be willing to go home.

It really was perfect.
I can't wait to run away again.

Umm:

I'm over 25 yrs. of age
My name is not Erin
I've never eaten at Snooze
I've never heard of Little Man Ice Cream
I live in Denver..........and...........I'M YOUR AUNT for heaven's sake!!!

Can I tag along next time?
Please, Please, pretty please?!
I won't be obnoxious and would only "hang out" for an hour or two.

At least call next time to say "hello"

Aunt Linda

P.S. Actually, I was out of town but seriously, I would love to do lunch or ice cream or a massage, or shop or whatever with you.
