Feel The Magic

Hi!
Today I want to share my sample for the Twisted Thursday Challenge at The Outlawz.
As you know our challenges are always "Anything Goes" and each week we add a twist to the challenge. This week the twist is "Snow, Glitter and/or Ice"!
The snowman is a Magnolia image. I colored him with copics and added lots of glitter and stickles. The snow is chunky glitter. To adhere the glitter I used stickles instead of glue which gives it a lot more sparkle.
The circular sentiment is from Gina K Designs Holiday Greetings.

Be sure to stop back tomorrow morning. The Craft's Meow previews start and I can't wait to share these new stamp sets with you!

See you tomorrow!

Things that Fly

Hiya!
Today is Thursday which means it's time for another Twisted Thursday challenge at The Outlawz.  The twist for this week is "Things that Fly".
The first thing that came to my mind was birds so I dug through my stamps and pulled out a set that has some cute little birthday owls to create my sample for the project.
These owls are from The Crafts Meow Whoo's Birthday Stamp Set.  I colored them with copics - Y35, 38/YR00, 01, YR30, 31/E30, 31, 34, 70, 71, 74, 77/BG10, 11, 32, 34.
The log is a Magnolia stamp and the leaves are from a SU punch.

I added stickles to the leaves, the lollipop and around the girl owl's eye. The sun is a dienamic from My Favorite Things.
I invite you to check out the challenge and the samples my fellow DT gals have made to share. As always, we would love for you to play along with us!

Thanks for stopping by!

Easter Egg Easel

Happy Thursday!
This past weekend the Twisted Thursday Challenge group at The Outlawz announced some changes to their Thursday challenges.
The changes to the challenges are -
~ Twisted Thursday is now open medium. What this means is we have lifted the twist of only being able to use 50% alcohol markers. You may now use them as much as you like. Of course we would still love to see all the other coloring mediums such as the prisma pencil. We just want you to be able to use what ever you are comfortable coloring with.
~ If you enter one or more cards/projects for the month, you will receive a free digi stamp from Anne’s Digital Art. This digi is exclusive to the Twisted Thursday Challenges.
~ All of the challenges will now be Anything Goes. However, we will be adding a twist to the Anything Goes as an option for you to do. If you add the twist to your card/project, your name will be entered twice in the drawing for the monthly Twisted Thursday prize.
~ iCopic is now sponsoring the Twisted Thursday challenges with a $10.00 GC an a monthly prize. And if you place an order over $75.00 you will receive $5.00 off and free shipping. (Free shipping is for US Orders only).
Be sure to check out the new challenge and to find out how to get the $5.00 off and free shipping with your iCopic orders.

I know we are very excited about the changes and hope you will be too! The changes take effect today with this weeks challenge so let me tell you what our twist is for the Anything Goes this week- it is Easter.

I included the twist in my sample to share with you. I have seen several Easter egg easel cards in blogland and wanted to give one a try so this was the perfect challenge twist for me to do that with and I knew it would also go well with this weeks iCopic challenge too!

I used one of my Magnolia stamps. I just love this Tilda hugging the bunny! I colored the image with copics - E000, E00, E11, E51, E53, E57/R00, R01, R02, R30/G20, G40, G43/YG61, N0, N01.
Here a picture of the easel closed -
The pattern papers are MME Miss Carolina. I used the larges oval from Spellbinders Grand Ovals for the base of the egg, which I found at 7kids College Fund.
I added stickles to Tilda's wings, bow and the trim on her shirt. I used a clear glitter pen and a nija waterbrush to add sparkle to her socks and the bunny's belly. The Flowers are a combination of Wild Orchid Crafts and Prima roses.

Card Supplies:
Stamps: Magnolia - Tilda with Bunny
Ink: Memento,
Paper: SU, Copic Blending, Bazzill, MME - Miss Carolina

I hope you will come check out the challenge and play along with us. You do not have to add the twist to your project if you do not want to but if you do your name will be entered twice in the TT only prize.
Thank you for stopping by!

Halloween Tilda

Hiya!

A quick post today to share a Halloween card with you. No I am not already working on Halloween cards...that would be a miracle if I were thinking that far ahead! lol!!
I made for my secret sister last fall and realized I had not yet shared it here on my blog.

The pattern papers are from Basic Grey's Eerie pack and I paired them up with Basic Black and Old Olive.
I used a Tilda image on the card and paper pieced part of her dress with the matching pattern paper from Basic Grey's Eerie pack. The rest of her was colored with copics and I apologize that I can not tell you which ones I used, I honestly do not remember!

Have a wonder rest of your day!!!

Love is in the air

Hiya!!

Are you all ready for Valentine's day? I am not! lol! We still need to get Abbi's Valentin's for school and find a little treat to go with them. I also have to pick up a little something for her and her sister. Yikes! I had better get my rear going huh?

I do however, have all my Valentine cards made ;o) whew!

This is the last one I needed to make. I used the stamp Tilda Holding Heart. I colored Tilda with copics, T6, T5, T4, T3, T2/R20, R21, R24, R35/E000, E00, E93/E71, E74, E77. I added stickles to the heart she holding and her hair bows. I used my clear glitter pen and niji brush to watercolor the sparkles on her socks and shirt.

The sentiment is from Gina K's Fanciful Tags stamp set and is punched out with SU's oval punch and matted on a Spellbinders Fancy Tag. I used Spellbinders Circles and Lacey Circles along with a pleated background to set the sentiment on.

I finished off the card with a paper doily, ribbon, prima and paper flowers and pearls.

The pattern papers are Basic Grey's Scarlet Letter and Urban Couture and the cardstock is Gina K.

Good morning and welcome to the Designing Divas Oldies but Goodies blog hop!!

What is an Oldies but Goodies blog hop? It is a hop where all the designing Divas create a project to share with you using papers, stamps, embellishments and/or ribbons from their stash that is at least 6 months old. Sound like fun? !

If you came from Barbara's blog you are right on track, if not, please go to Sue's blog to start at the beginning. I don't want you to miss any of the awesome projects the gals have created to share with you! Most everything on my card is 6 months or older. The only thing that is not is the lace and pearls. The lace is from Hobby Lobby and the pearls are from Zva Creative

The stamp is an adorable Tilda image by Magnolia called Loves Me Tilda. I colored her with copics - YR00, YR01, YR02, E29, E27 - flower/G21, G24, G40 - overall & shoes/YG65, YG68 - shirt, socks & laces/E27, E25, E33, E31, E41 - hair/E000, E00, E93 - skin.

The papers are Gina K's Pure Luxury and the pattern paper is Basic Grey's Urban Prairie and Sugar Rush.

The felt flowers are SU and the paper roses are from Wild Orchid.

The frame Tilda is sitting on was made using Spellbinders Blossoms and circle dies. After embossing them, I sprayed them with Smooch to add the shimmer.

Mostly white

Good morning!

Today I thought I would give you a break from my countdown challenge card and share a card I made that was inspired by the Magnolia-Licious Challenge.
The challenge was to make an almost entirely white card. This Tilda is called Tilda with Curls #322 .
Tilda is colored with copics, R00, R01, R02, R05 - dress/R01, R02 - socks/R000 - wings/E44, E47, E49 - shoes/R02, R05, RG23, RG25 - flowers/E42, E43, E44, Y21 - hair/E000, E00, E93 - skin. The last thing I colored were her shoes. I think I picked to dark of a color but I wasn't about to start over so pretend her shoes are a lighter color - k? lol!
I added diamond stickle to her wings and dress and used a clear glitter pen on the flowers.
The primas and leaves were given a coat of Smooch. I have had my smooch for a few months and this is the first time I have used it - bad I know! I will be using it a lot more though because I love it!
I used 4 different embossing folders on the card, Cuttlebugs - Kassie's Brocade/Sizzix - Final Press, Vintage Wallpaper, Damask.
The papers are SU and Copic X-press It. The lace I picked up at a local craft store and love how the sequins and beads match the colors of Tilda's dress.

Did you know that Copic is coming out with 12 new colors the end of March? I didn't until yesterday when I checking out the icopic blog... I loved the new colors so of course I have to have them and was able to pre-order them from icopic as a set.

Enjoy your day and thanks so much for stopping by!!

Winter Wonderland

Hello!

Today I would like to share a card that was inspired by the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge. The challenge was Winter Wonderland and you can read all about it here.

The Tilda I used is currently not in the store. She is colored with copics, E000, E00, R20 - skin/E27, E31, E41- hair /T0, T1, T2, T4, T5 - pants/R000, R00 - wings/R81, R83, R85, R89 - jacket & hand muff/T5, T6, T7, T8, T9, R89 - boots. I added a couple of different types of glitters to her. A white glitter to her hood and hand muff and dazzling diamonds to her wings. There is a coat of crystal lacquer on her button, hearts on her hood and the heart on her hand muff.
The log Tilda is sitting on can be found here. I colored the log with copics, E31, E34, E37. I added a some snow glitter along the top to go with the winter wonderland theme.

The circle and doily behind Tilda is made with Circle Nestibilities. For the doily, I cut out the circle using the largest of the circle dies and took one of my MS corner punches and punched around the outer edge. The center was embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder and I added some of the snow glitter to each of the raised dots.

The snowflakes are covered in a chunky snow glitter and I put a paper rose in the center of each one.

The pattern paper is Basic Greys Eskimo Kisses and all the other papers are SU with the exception of Tilda and the log. I used Copic X-press It paper...my favorite for coloring with copics :-)

Thank you so much for visiting today!

Tickled pink!

Happy Monday crafters!!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Mine was busy but fun! Saturday, I went to the Rubber Stamping and Scrapbooking show in Madison with a few friends. We had a great time! I was a bit disappointed because there was not as many vendors as there has been in the past but I did find a few new goodies! One good thing about less vendors is I did not spend as much money as I have the previous years!

As many of you know I love my Magnolia stamps and when I saw that Diana from Magnolia-Licious created a challenge blog I knew it was time to give these cuties some attention! Their first challenge is to use the colors pink and yellow and you can read all about it here.
Stamps: Magnolia
Papers: Gina K, Basic Grey, Copic X-press It
Ink: Memento, Copics
Other: Ribbon, Lace, Prima's, Paper Roses,
Spellbinders - Labels 13, Paper Doily
I used the Tilda with Pig stamp which I could not find in the Magnolia-licious store right now but I am sure Diana will have it back in stock real soon. I colored this sweetie with copics, R00, R01, R02, R11, R20, R21, R30, R32/ Y17, Y21, Y23, Y32, Y35/E000, E00, E27, E31, E41/W1.
The papers are Gina K and the patter papers are Basic Grey's Porcelain.
I tucked a paper doily behind Tilda and tucked the sentiment beside that which I cut out using Labels 13.

I finished off the card with paper roses, primas, and lace.

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit and I hope you stop back soon!!

Sparklin' Snowman

Hi!

Today we got our new front door installed along with new locks on the rest of our doors. Since my hubby was busy helping out and I got my house cleaned and laundry done yesterday, I was able to spend some time this afternoon crafting!
Today I wanted to share a card I made last weekend.

Stamps: Magnolia, Gina K - Holiday Greetings
Ink: Versamark, SU, Copics
Paper: SU, Copic X-press It
Other: Spellbinders, MFT Die-namic, Ribbon,
Sizzix Die, Glitter, Glitter Pen, Felt, Clear Glaze Pen,
Brad, Hologram ep
The image is #424 snowman from Magnolia-licious...it's he adorable?! I colored him with copics to match the pattern paper I used on the card. The copics i used are Y13, Y18/YR15, YR16, YR18/R000/E55, E57, E59/B60. I added some sparkle to him using both glitter and my clear glitter pen.
The snow is white felt and I cut the scallops using the Jumbo scallop die-namic die from MFT. I added glitter along the tops of the scallops so the snow was nice and sparkly like my snowman.

I wanted something behind the snowman so he was not washed out against the pattern paper so I added a large chocolate snowflake the I cut out using a spellbinder Blossom 2 die and heat embossed snowflakes on it with Hologram embossing powder.
I finished off the card with ribbon and snowflakes. The snowflakes are cut out using the Northern Frost die from SU.

I hope you are not getting tired of all these Christmas cards! I am trying out a few designs and images to come up with my Christmas card that I will be mass producing to send out this year. I think I need to keep trying so I am not spending a small fortune in postage! lol! You know how those layers and bulk add up in postage costs!

Thank so much for checking in with me tonight and enjoy the rest of your evening!

Paper Pretties and 7kids

Good morning Stampers!

Today I have a card I made for a couple of challenges. Paper Pretties and 7kids College Fund.
Paper Pretties challenge was to make a square card and 7Kids was a birthday theme. I made a square birthday card to cover both challenges.
Stamps: Magnolia, Gina K
Ink: SU, Mememto, Copics
Paper: SU, Gina K, Copic, DCWV
Other: Ribbon, Primas, MS Branch and Leaf punches,
Stickles, Crystal Lacquer, Spellbinders Labels 10 & 11
Cuttlerbug embossing folder, Clear Glitter Pen

I picked up the Tilda image from Magnolia-licious store but I do not see there right now. Tilda is colored with copics, E000, E00, E25, E32, E43, E49, E53, R11, G20, G21, G24, and G28.
I added stickles to her hair bows and petticoat for some sparkle. I gave her boots a thick coat of crystal lacquer...I don't know about you but I like my girls to have shiny shoes and boots.  Must be because both of my daughters like the shiny, sparkly footwear.

The happy birthday sentiment is from Gina K's Happy Camper stamp set.
The papers are SU, Gina K, Copic X-press It and DCWV Crafty stack.  I picked up some new prima flowers at my local craft store over the weekend so had to use some on my card. I love these little paper rose! I fore see another addiction in my new future! lol!

Challenge with Tilda

Good morning!

It has been forever since I have played along any of the challenge blogs out in blog-land. I follow several so when I saw this weeks sketch on the Friday Sketcher's blog I was immediately drawn to it and wanted to give it a try.  This is their sketch for this week.

And here is my take on the sketch.

Card Supplies:   Stamps: Magnolia, Gina K - Fanciful Tags
Paper: Gina K - Smokey Slate, Kraft, Ivory,
Innocent Pink, Basic Grey - Porcelain
Ink: Memento, SU
Other: Spellbinder Tags, Pearls, Cord, Eyelets,
Primas, Cuttlebug EF
As you can see I added a bit more to the basic sketch. Hopefully my card won't be tossed out because I did!
I used one of my adorable Magnolia Tilda images that I picked up at the Magnolia-licious store a while ago.
Tilda was colored with copics - R000, R00, R20, E000, E00, E27, E31, E41, E42, E55, E57, E59 and W3.
The papers are Gina K and Basic Grey. My sentiments were stamped on the tags before I tucked them behind the tilted square and can easily be pulled out by who ever receives the card. The tags were cut out with a couple different spellbinders tag dies.
The pink paper Tilda is standing on was embossed with Cuttlebugs Herringbone embossing folder. I embellished the card with pearls and and an assortment of prima flowers.
Now that I am posting the card I wish I would have added a bit of sparkle to Tilda's dress and a coat of crystal lacquer to her shoes. I think I will do that before I mail it out.

I am also going to enter this card in the Paper Pretties challenge this week which is to use pearls, Rhinestones, or glitter dots.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I really appreciate your visits and love to read your comments!
Have a wonderful Day!

Dancing Tilda

Hello!

Before I show you my card, I would like to answer a question I was asked about the embossing folder I used for this post. I mistakenly said it was a sizzix folder but it is really a QuicKutz folder called Polka Dots. I bought it at a local scrapbook store but you can find it on-line. Here is a link to the folder on the QuicKutz site where they can also be purchased.

My card today is made using a Magnolia image. This is MidSummer Tilda from the Fairy Tale Collection. I belonged to the Magnolia Stamp Club Subscription through Magnolia Sweden last year and this was my last set for my subscription.
I colored this sweetie with copics and added some sparkle to her dress using stickles.
The papers are Basic Grey's new Capella, Always Artichoke (SU), Ocean Mist and Ivory PL (Gina K).
I am loving the prima roses that I picked up at 7KidsCollegeFund. I paired them up with lace that I picked up at a local craft store.

Thank you for visiting my blog! I really appreciate it!

Birthday Slider

Hello,

How many of you have made a slider card?
As you may know I love my Magnolia stamps and follow a couple of blogs of fellow Magnolia lover's. One of the blogs is Claudia Rosa. She had a tutorial for a slider card and it was one like I had not seen before. From the outside it looks like a normal card but when you pull on the bottom and top of the card it opens up to look like...
this. Isn't that cool? It was really easy to make and Claudia's directions were very easy to follow.I picked up this cute little Tilda at the Magnolia-licious store. She was colored with copics and I added some stickles to her hair ribbon, her wings, the flower on her hat and the heart on her pants.

I finally opened up my Dazzle Champagne Versmark and rubbed it on the prima's to give them some shading and shimmer.
I gave this card to a dear friend of my for her birthday. I wish I would have taken a picture of it with the gift card that I attached on the inside with repositional glue dots, it fit perfectly!

I know I am going to make another one of these slider cards and would love to see yours if you make one.
Thanks for checking in with me today!

Pretty in Pink Tilda

Happy Friday!!

Today I have a sweet Tilda card to share with you. The DT for Magnolia-licious had a Pretty in Pink Blog Hop on Monday and we can play along! All you have to do is create create a "Pretty In Pink" project using a Magnolia stamp and lots of Pretty Pinks! You then link your project to the blog hop post over at the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog.

I used the Tilda holding heart image from the Pink Collection and the key she is sitting on is also a Magnolia stamp but I do not remember which collection it is from. I colored Tilda with copics. I had a hard time getting a good picture of this card so the colors are off a bit...could also be because I dropped my camera before I took the pic...oops!
The papers are SU's Pixie Pink, Gina K's Kraft and White PL and the dp is Basic Grey's Bittersweet.
The sentiment is from Gina K's Timeless Treasures.
I picked the lace and the heart charm up at a local craft store.
And here is how I finished the inside of the card.

Thanks for checking in with me today!
Hugs,

Hugs from Tilda and the cat

Happy Thursday evening!

I have a Tilda card to share with you tonight. This is #359 Tilda with Cat Hanging in her Arms. I bought her at the Magnolia-licious Store through Diana. If you are looking to buy Magnolia Stamps, this is the place to do so.
This stamp reminds me of my daughter Abbi lugging around my Mom's cats. I think most kids carry cats this way and the rest carry them hooked under their back legs so the cats are hanging upside down...at least that how my nephews carry them. lol!
I stamped Tilda with Mementos Tuxedo Black ink, colored her with copics, a bit of stickles to the bow on her pigtail and cut her out. The hugs sentiment was stamped with Vivid Tuscan Tan ink on Ivory PL paper and cut out with Spellbinders Labels 6. I perched Tilda on the sentiment...looks a bit like she is standing on a cloud doesn't it?
The DP is from October Afternoon's Ducks in a Row paper pack. The strip along the left side was cut out with a larger Labels 6 die and the center frame is Spellbinders Decorative Frame. The little loop and swirl the ribbon is threaded through is an end of one of the fancy labels.
I added Primas with Brads in the center and some punched branches to finish off the card.

Today wasn't as cold as yesterday but it's been snowing all day and now the wind is picking up so I am sure the cold will be back!!!

Thank you for visiting my blog, it's very much appreciated!!!
Hugs,

Card Supplies:
