Reaching for the Stars

Happy Friday!
Today I am sharing a card that I am giving to Abbi for her last day of grade school.
If you subscribe to the Through The Craftroom Door magazine, you may recognize this card. It was published in the magazine last fall.
This is a digital image from Mayzy Art which I colored with copics - B34, 37/Y0000, 11, 19, 21, 23/R20, 11/E000, 00, 02/E40, 41, 42, 43, 44/E70, 71, 74, 77, 79/T5, 6/C8.  I added a bit more shading to the owl with prisma pencils and OMS.  When I am having trouble getting the shading I want using Copics, I will get out my pencils and OMS. Just make sure you use the pencils on top of the Copics. If you use the Copics on top of the pencils, you can ruin the nibs on your markers.
I added Crystal Lacquer to the glasses . The image is cut out using SB Rectangle and Labels 23. The sentiment is sitting on stars cut out with SB Star dies.
The pattern papers are Basic Greys Oxford.
The sentiment is from Whimsy Adventure Mini Postage Stamp set.

I am off and running! I have a busy day today - work this morning, Abbi's end of year picnic, Orchestra practice and whatever else hubster's has planned for us this evening!
Enjoy your day!

It's a Circus!

Hello!
Today I wanted to share my card for this weeks Twisted Thursday Challenge group at The Outlawz . This week we have a really fun twist, "Circus"!
My clown is a Mayzy's digital image. I wish I could link it up for you but Mayzy has taken some time off to deal with family issues. I had a lot of fun coloring her to match the MME Miss Caroline - Dilly Dally pattern papers. I used my copics of course ;^) The colors I used are: BG10, 11, 18, 53, 57/Y13, 15, 19/R01, R02/W000, 0/T2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7/E000, 00, 02, 07, 08, 09.
The larger ticket is from My Favorite Things Just the Ticket stamp and die set. The smaller tickets is from Sweet N Sassy's The Bigtop stamp set.  I added quite a bit of stickles to make this clown really sparkle.
I finished off the card with twine and buttons.
Be sure to stop by the TT Challenge Group to the rest of the Circus themed cards by the DT. They are amazing as always!

Thanks for checking in with my and enjoy your day!
