It's a Circus!

Hello!
Today I wanted to share my card for this weeks Twisted Thursday Challenge group at The Outlawz . This week we have a really fun twist, "Circus"!
My clown is a Mayzy's digital image. I wish I could link it up for you but Mayzy has taken some time off to deal with family issues. I had a lot of fun coloring her to match the MME Miss Caroline - Dilly Dally pattern papers. I used my copics of course ;^) The colors I used are: BG10, 11, 18, 53, 57/Y13, 15, 19/R01, R02/W000, 0/T2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7/E000, 00, 02, 07, 08, 09.
The larger ticket is from My Favorite Things Just the Ticket stamp and die set. The smaller tickets is from Sweet N Sassy's The Bigtop stamp set.  I added quite a bit of stickles to make this clown really sparkle.
I finished off the card with twine and buttons.
Be sure to stop by the TT Challenge Group to the rest of the Circus themed cards by the DT. They are amazing as always!

Thanks for checking in with my and enjoy your day!

Gift of Grace

Hello!
I had some time to craft on Saturday. It seems like this past month I have had a crafting block but Saturday I actually sat down made 4 cards without any problems! Lately it has taken me forever to create a card and I won't even tell you how many ended up in the trash :)

I made this card for the Sweet N Sassy August release party.
The roses are from the Rose Blossom stamp set. The roses are stamped on pattern paper and shaded a bit with copics as are the leaves. The sentiment is from the Graceful Calla Lily set.
The papers are from Basic Grey's Two Scoops.  Yes, I still a lot of the older Basic Grey pattern papers that I have been hoarding ;) The lace is from my dear friend Shelly.

I hope you are having a fabulous Monday!

Blessings

Hi!
Can you believe it's August already?! I have been spending a lot of time with my family because school will be starting before we know it and I have a feeling that won't be long before Abbi would rather spend time with her friends than with Mom. As much as it saddens me that stage is just around the corner, I know its all part of growing up whether we like it or not.
I hope all of you, my followers and readers, are able to take the time to spend with family and loved ones too!
I do have a card to share today.
The silhouette is from Sweet N Sassy's Together Silhouette stamp set as is the sentiment. The image is stamped on pattern paper from Simple Stories. The sentiment is also stamped on pattern paper. I kept the embellishments to just ribbon and a bow.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Card Supplies:
Stamps: Sweet N Sassy - Together Silhouette
Ink: Memento, Versamark
Paper: Simple Stories, Gina K Designs, SU

Here is how to play - choose any row, either down, across or diagonally and use those three elements in that row on a project.

I decided to diagonally with the sentiment, designer paper and flower.
This lil' guy kicking back under the flower is from Sweet N Sassy Stamps Simple Pleasure. I colored the image with copics - E25, 27, 29, 30, 31, 40, 41/R00, 01, 30, 81, 83, 85/B91, 93, 95/G40, 43, 46/Y11/W00, 00.

I love you

Hi!
I have another card to share today that I made for a Sweet N Sassy Stamp's release party challenge. This challenge was to create a masculine card.
The owl and sentiment are from SNSS's Owl be There stamp set. I paper pieced the owl with pattern papers from Cosmo Crickets Wanted pack. Behind the owl is a piece of jute fabric that I picked up at Hobby Lobby in the remnants bin. To me it looks like burlap but they said it's jute so that's what I'll call it ;)
The hearts were cut out of flute paper which I picked up at Archiver's.

Card Supplies:
Stamps: SNSS - Owl be There
Ink: Versamark, SU
Paper: SU, Cosmo Cricket - Wanted, Flute Paper
Other: Zinger EP, Jute Fabric, Jute Twine, Button, MFT Heart Dies, Spellbinders - Lacey Pendants

Thank you for visiting me today!

There is you...

Hi!
I made this card for one of the challenges from last weeks Sweet N Sassy Stamps release party. This was for Korin's no coloring challenge.
The silhouette image and sentiment is from SNSS's Together Silhouette stamp set.
The set comes with a stamp of just the top of the umbrella so I thought it would be fun to make the umbrella match the papers. I stamped the umbrella top on the pattern paper, cut it out, and added foam dimensions on the back side to pop it up over the umbrella portion of the silhouette. The pattern papers are Echo Parks Yours Truly.

Card Supplies:
Stamps: SNSS - Together Silhouettes
Ink: Versamark, Versafine
Paper: SU, GKD, Echo Park
Other: Twine, Charm, Spellbinders - Ovals and Circles.

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Twisted Flowers

Hello!
I am so late with this post! I have been battling a sinus infection and then ended up with the flu which is why I have been so quiet. I am finally feeling better and wanted to make sure I let you all know about this week's the Twisted Thursday challenge before it is over!
This week is "Anything Goes" and the twist is "flowers".  If you follow the twist you get your name entered twice for the month end TT prize from "icopic", which is our exclusive monthly sponsor.
If you enter two or more cards into the weekly challenge you will get a free digi from my fellow DT Anne Fenton - Anne's Digital Art.

Here is my sample for the challenge -
The sentiment is from Sweet N Sassy's Flowers in Bloom stamp set.
I used a couple different flower dies for my card. The sentiment is layered on a Spellbinders Blossoms 2 die. I also used the blossom 2 dies to create the border around the sentiment. The rolled roses are felt and were cut out with MFT's Mini Rolled Rose dies. The flourishes are Cheery Lynn Designs Fanciful Flourish.

Card Supplies:
Stamps: SNSS - Flowers in Bloom
Paper: Gina K Designs, Bazzill
Ink: SU
Other: Cuttlebug EF, Pearls, MFT - Felt & Mini Rolled Rose Dies, Spellbinders - Circles & Blossom 2 dies, Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish Die.

Thank you for checking in with me today and if you have a bit of time in the next day or two we would love for you to play along with us this week.

Hoping you...

Hello!
Hasn't the weather been crazy the past week? We had a snow storm Friday, a bit of flurries Saturday and Sunday and today it was sunny. Tomorrow it is going to be in the high 40's...crazy!
I can not believe all the severe weather to the south of me. I pray that those of you that were in the areas that had tornado's are all safe.
I had to start over twice on the card I am sharing today. I had my first image of the poppies all colored and completely ruined them when I tried to be creative with sponging ink around them. That attempted ended up in the garbage! My second attempt is better - I stayed away from the sponge dauber and ink ;-)
The poppies are from Sweet N Sassy's Poppies and Greetings Stamp set.  I colored them with copics - R17,30,32/RV42/YG01,03,63/R23,25,40,41.
I cut out the strip of grass using My Favorite Things Fresh Cut Grass Die. I cut the strip in half so I could layer it and used Memento's Bamboo Leaves ink pad for shading. After I glued the grass down I wasn't sure I like it but since I had already ruined the first image I colored I wasn't about to start over again!

Card Supplies:
Stamps: SNSS - Poppies and Greetings
Ink: Memento, SU
Paper: GKD, SU, MME
Other: Copics, Button, Twine, Pearls, MFT File Tab & Fresh Cut Grass dies

Enjoy the rest of your day and thanks for stopping by!

Glowing Poppies

Happy Friday!
I made this card for this week's Sweet Stop Shop's sketch challenge but am too late to enter it in the challenge. I really need to pay attention to when the challenges end lol!
I used Sweet and Sassy's Poppies and Greetings Stamp Set. The poppies are colored with copics - I apologize that I can not share the colors, I forgot to write them down.
I was not happy with the shadow I added around the poppies so I tried to cover it up by sponging yellow ink around the poppies. It looked better but I am still not 100% happy with it.

The half circle dies are part of Cheery Lynn's Celtic Fire Rectangle Frame.

Card Supplies:
Stamps: SNSS - Poppies and Greetings
Ink: Memento, Vivid
Paper: Authentique - Uncommon, SU, Copic Blending
Other: SNSS Scalloped Border Die, Copics, Ribbon, CLD - Celtic Fire Rectangle Frame, Spellbinders - Rectangles, Circles

Thank you for checking in with me today! Have a terriffic Friday!

Praise the Lord!

Hi!
Tonight I am sharing a card I made for the Sweet N Sassy Stamps Wednesday Challenge. The challenge this week was to make a circle card.

I used the Praise the Lord stamp set. Instead of using the whole image I used just the flowers to create my frame for the sentiment.
The flowers were colored with copics - YR12,14/Y26/E77,79/YG25,61,63,66. I added a bit of sparkle to them by water coloring with a clear glitter pen.

Card Supplies:
Stamp: SNSS Praise the Lord
Ink: Memento
Paper: Gina K Designs, Bazzill, Copic Blending, Basic Grey - Pyrus
Other: Copics, Cheery Lynn - Tropical Flourish, Spellbinders - Circles, Big Scalloped Circles & Labels 9, SNSS - Lacey Eyelet Border, Ribbon, Glitter Pen

Enjoy the rest of your evening!

Wishing for spring

Happy Valentine's Day!
Sorry, no Valentine's card today...
It is a snowy day here in WI and I am having a bout of spring fever so I thought I would share some spring flowers with you.
The flower image is from Sweet N Sassy's Flowers in Bloom stamp set. I colored them with copics - E23, 25, 27/V91, 93, 95, 99/YR20,21,31/G82, 85/C00.
The papers are all scraps of Bazzill, SU and Echo Park. The matting behind the flower image is actually a dark brown but it looks black in the picture. I have to stop taking pictures at night ;)

Card Supplies:
Stamps: SNSS - Flowers in Bloom
Ink: Memento
Paper: Bazzill, Copic Blending, Echo Park
Other: MFT - Mini Wavy Pendant, Spellbinders Labels 5 & Rectangles, Twine from The Twinery, Pearls, Stickles, Copics

I hope your Valentine's is is filled with lots of love, hugs and kisses!

Hi!
Have you heard of the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge? I have been wanting to give this challenge a try for quite awhile and this past weekend I finally sat down and did just that!

Here is this week's sketch -
And here is my card.
I used Rhubarb's Winter Fun stamp set along with the Freezin' Season stamp set. I colored Rhubarb with copics - E23, 25, 30, 31, 37/W00, 0/R000, 11, 37, 46/C00, 0, 1. I paper pieced the belly, cup, hat and mittens with the same pattern papers I used on the card which are Echo Park's Yours Truly.
As you can see I added a few extra elements to the sketch. I couldn't help myself...I thought the top corner's look a bit naked ;)

Card Supplies:
Stamps: SNSS Rhubarb's Winter Fun & Freezin' Season
Ink: Memento
Paper: GKD, SU, Echo Park - Yours Truly
Other: Buttons, Twine, Spellbinders - Heart Squares, Heart Stickers, Copics
