Bloomin' Bears

Happy Friday!
I am a bit late sharing my challenge card for this weeks  Twisted Thursday Challenge group at The Outlawz . This week our twist is "Teddy Bears".

This little guy is a Lili of the Valley image called Blooming Lovely.  The sentiment came along with the image. I used copics to color the image, R02, 05, 20/G82, 85/Y21, 23, 32/BG0000, 000/E30, 31, 33, 40, 41, 71, 74, 77, 95, 97, 99. After I colored the teddy bear, I took an old cloth and squirted a bit of my colorless blending solution on it then dabbed the teddy bear to make it look like his fur had texture. I think I dabbed a bit too much on the top of his head and paws because they turned out lighter than I wanted.
I added stickles to the sunflower petals, leaves, hearts, the wing of the butterfly and the bee.

Be sure to stop by the TT Challenge Group to see my DT Sistah's cards. They are fantastic! I even requested a tutorial on how they colored their bears ;^)

I hope the rest of your Friday is Fabulous!
Thanks for stopping by!

Day full of happiness

Hiya!
My card today uses another image I had colored quite awhile ago and set aside only to be forgotten :(
I am not going to tell you how many other of these forgotten images I have, but my goal is to use them before I color anymore...ya...we'll see how well I do with that goal ;o)
This little sweetie is Millie from Lili of the Valley. She is colored with copics - YG00, 03, 25/E0000, 000, 23, 25, 27, 31, 35, 40, 41/R20, 22, 24/YR0000, 000, 00, 01, 20. I added stickles to the edge of her shirt and the flower. Her shoes got a coat of crystal lacquer as did the center of the flower.
The sentiment is also a Lili of the Valley - Dreamy Days Circle Sentiments.
Card Supplies:
Stamps: Lili of the Valley - Millie Flower Power & Dreamy Days Circle Sentiments
Ink: Memento, SU
Paper: Gina K, SU, Cryogen, My Minds Eye - Miss Carolina - Howdy Doody
Other: Stickles, Crystal Lacquer, Cheery Lynn Die - Tropical Flourish, WOC Flowers, Lace, Copics

Things with wings

Hi and happy Thursday!
It's time for another Twisted Thursday challenge at The Outlawz. This week's challenge theme is Things With Wings.
This is my sample for the challenge.
I used a few different stamp sets to create this card. The silhoutte is from Layers of Colors - Fairy Wishes. The Post Card tucked in the back is also a Layers of Colors stamp. The sentiment is from The Crafts Meow Sent with Love. The fairy is one of my things with wings. I added a fews small butterflies next to the bottom cluster of roses to add more things with wings to my card.
The papers are My Minds Eye - Honeycake. Have you seen the new My Minds Eye papers? I am in love <3!

Snowman all a glitter

Hi!!
Today I would like to share my sample card for this weeks Twisted Thursday's challenge going on over at The Outlawz. The challenge for this week is to include a snowman and glitter on you project.
The snowman I used is a Lili of the Valley stamp called Mr Snowman. I colored him with a combination of copics and prisma pencils. I added a lot of glitter so Mr Snowman is quite sparkly!
His scarf took an interesting journey. I colored it with copics, shaded it with the pencils and covered it with crystal stickles. The stickles took on an odd shade of green which I did not like so I covered that with dazzling diamonds glitter. It definitely has a lot of sparkle but it also looks like it's fuzzy which is what made it interesting.
The snow is flowersoft and while the glue was still wet, I sprinkled glitter over the flower soft to give the snow a subtle sparkle.
I wanted the snowflakes to have some dimension and sparkle so I punched them out, coated them with white liquid applique, which I heat until puffy, then I applied stickles over the puffed up liquid applique.
Yes, that's a lot of glitter, of you can never have to much glitter right? ;)

If you want to see some more snowman/glitter eye candy, head on over to the TT challenge and check out what my fellow DT gals have created! And of course we would love for you to play along with us :)

Card Supplies:
Stamps: LOTV - Mr Snowman,
Ink: Memento, SU, Copics - E23, 25, 27/YR12, 16/yg91, 93, 95, 97/B000, 01, 52/R22, 24, 27/W00, 0/C00, 0, 1, 5, 7, 8, 9
Paper: SU
Other: Prisma Pencils, OMS, Stickles, Glitter, Flower Soft, Rhinestones, Twine, MS Snowflake Punch, Cheery Lynn Dutch Scallop Square Frame Die, Spellbinders - Tags & Squares

Holiday Tree Ornament

Hi!
Every Saturday at The Outlawz is a new challenge for the Paper Ala Mode group. This week I thrilled to be a part of the PAM challenge.
The PAM challenge this week is - Create a Holiday Tree Ornament Project!! You could make an actual ornament, or make a card/project with an ornament on it!
I went with a card for my sample.
Card Supplies:
Stamps: SU - Holiday Happiness, PTI - Holiday Tags, LOTV - Grunge Music, GKD - Winter foliage/Papers: SU, Webster's Pages/Ink: SU, Versamark/Other: Spellbinders - Ovals & Circles Nestibilities, Ribbon, Lace, Stickles, MFT - File Tab Die, Cheery Lynn Doily Die

I bought my very first Stampin' Up stamp set, Holiday Happiness, 9 years ago. Every year I buy more Christmas Stamp sets but have always gone back to this set and created at least one Christmas Card with it. I just love the ornaments in this set :)

I wanted the ornament to match the colors of my papers so I inked the stamp with versamark, then inked over the versamark with SU's Rose Red before heat embossing the image with clear embossing powder. I added stickles to the ornament to make it sparkly.
The green doily behind the ornament is a Cheery Lynn Doily Die. I love these doily dies and this is the first time I have cut one out with pattern paper. It gives it a different look doesn't it?

Be sure to check out all of the other DT samples for the PAM Challenge and we hope you will be inspired to play along with us this week!

Thank you so much for visiting and stop back for another visit real soon!
Hugs,

Happy Baubles

Happy Friday friends!!
I can not believe it's December already! Where does the time go?!
I finally had a chance to take pictures of the Christmas cards I have been working on for my Mom so I can start sharing them with you :)
The ornament image is Lili of the Valley's Christmas Baubles. I stamped the image with versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I water colored the image with Distressed Inks which is something I haven't done in ages. I think I will try it again only with a large image to color. It was a bit of a challenge to add the shading to those small ornaments, flowers and holly leaves ;)
The sentiment is Happy Circular Sentiments and is also a Lili of the Valley stamp.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Enjoy your day!

Supplies:
Stamps - Lili of the Valley
Ink: Versamark, Distressed Inks

Fun with Fabric

Happy Friday!!
Another work week is over and what an interesting one it has been!!
I did not get a chance to post all week and really wanted to share this card with you yesterday as I made if for The Outlawz Thursday Challenge. The challenge this week is to use fabric on your creation. How fun is that?! I know the DT sure had fun with it and we are seeing some very creative creations using fabric in the challenge gallery!
The fabric on my card is the fabric rolled rose. My dear friend Sue showed me how to make them. The rolled rose on top the ribbon rose and in the upper right were made with velvet paper.
The card shape was made by folding the largest grand scalloped oval in half. The pattern papers are MME - Lost & Found Portabella Road. I love the Lost & Found paper packs!

Now that we have gotten the card out of the way I want to tell you about some changes we have made to our Thursday challenge...We have changed the name of our Thursday Challenge from POM to Twisted Thursday! We thought that name was appropriate because we have added a twist to our challenges and we are allowing you to now use Copic Markers or any other alcohol based markers. The twist is that you can only color your images using 50% copic markers. The rest can be any other medium. Woo Hoo!!! Now that doesn't mean we won't throw in another twist here and there to mix it up a bit ;o)
We hope you will come check out the Twisted Thursday challenge and we would love to have you play along with us!!!

Have a fabulous Friday evening!!

I have been so busy between work and home life that I have not anytime to spend at my craft table or here on my blog!
Finally today I had a bit of a break to check before I am off and running to get Abbi to swimming lessons.
I need to keep this short so if you have any questions on my card, please leave them in a comment or send them in an email...K

I added texture to my leaves by embossing them with a sizzix embossing folder. I really like that look how about you?

Here is my sample for the challenge.
That adorable image is from Lili of the Valley. I colored Teddy with Flower with Prisma Pencils and OMS. I added stickles to the flower for some sparkle.
