I absolutely LOVE this image called My Friend:
Doesn't this just make you go AWWWWWwwww!!!! A little puppy trying to get the attention of the little girl. Do you see the little rascal under the gate? You can double click the image for a close up and personal view.
The challenge hostess this week is our Fearless DT coordinator, The Peggy Marsh. Peggy chose a 3-2-1 challenge. 3 DP, 2 buttons or brads, and one ribbon. I was pretty good (for me) and only strayed from the challenge by adding a flower on top of the ribbon but it is also my third dp so it had to be there!!! That's my story and I am sticking to it. (it's true too)
I loved coloring this image called My Friend, and look I even had a stamp with that sentiment, added bonus!!!
Two things I wanted in this image were a white washed looking fence and for the little girl to have red hair. Don't ask me why but usually when I see an image I just know what colors I want to use. This darling image just screams Spring!!! The daffodils, the cute dress and light weight sweater, green grass and puppies!! I really like the way this card turned out. I put it on the shelf above my laptop where I can see it all the time.
I guess I should add, everything was colored with copic markers...are you shocked LOL!!! The edges were sponged with Tim Holtz distress ink broken china.
