Reshape your thoughts = Reshape your body

I just settled Baby down (again) to bed, so while I have my hands free, I wanted to post some lines from the book I am working through. I was encouraged when I read them the other day because they line up so closely with the thoughts the Lord was sharing with me regarding my new goals for this Lifestyle Journey.  They are also a great starting point for the new year. :D

There are several statements made in this excerpt, but these are the ones that struck me:

> God made my body to move, not to sit still. That's why I engage in one activity at least 15 minutes a day. I am happy there are no rules for my activity, because this means I can never lose the game. I am determined to be active; I will never rust out. (<--- Love that!)

> I'm delighted to be active without weighing myself. The scale used to be my judge, jury, and executioner. Now I simply enjoy life.

> I refuse to let external sources get me down or throw me off course. I am increasing my activity level, and my body is responding with a resounding THANK YOU!

> My attitude is my choice, and I have chosen to lose weight permanently. Nothing can stop me now. I am thrilled that I can enjoy my daily activity for its sheer enjoyment. I feel great!
