I'm declaring it on the blog, so now it's official. Sundays are my day "off". I'm taking Sundays off from logging, meeting exercise goals, and I'm allowing myself to enjoy those brownies at the potluck whenever they appear. :-) But, just on Sundays. ;-)
I did well today, for a day off. I even got in a mile walk, all by myself...gasp! It was lovely.
I'm ready to get back to everything tomorrow, including my goals. I really like being off of school and on a lazy schedule. But, it's time to get back to some purposeful days and the structure that keeps us all in the right mindset.
So, along with Back to School, starting a new routine, and Back to my Weekly Goals, I'm excited to be simply Back to Life and to find out just what it will look like in the new year. :-D
Blessings to everyone starting fresh tomorrow!!
"'Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder the things of the past. Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.'" Isaiah 18-19
Sounds great!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI started today and am thrilled and ver motivated!! Sat nights are my free nights.....I need to have those free nights....Or I feel deprived....:)
YES!! I totally agree that resting is SO good and needed! Enjoy that day off..not to pig out but to refresh and restart!
ReplyDeleteYes, Sundays off are a great idea! I'm sure you'll find that even you're "day off" will look better than it ever did before when you're seeing great progress. You'll just naturally make the better choices AND enjoy them. However, that brownie or special snack is what keeps us going long-term :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to get back to a bit of routine here too. As much as I love the break, everything just runs better with some structure and routine.
You are exactly right, Laurie. Everything looks different now that I'm paying attention. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI hope your day goes well tomorrow! Routine feels good. :-)
