Before and After Pics!

Now that I'm finally seeing some serious results and have found a great plan to keep me moving forward, I'm ready to SEE the results as I go!

The place I am longing to see the biggest change in my physical appearance is in my face. It's where I want to reflect the Lord's work in my life and how I want to be remembered, one who looks to Him with radiance!  So, I've decided that for the next year I'm going to take monthly pics of just my face to see the work the Lord is doing in my physical body as a reflection of the work he is doing in my heart and mind.

Psalm 34:5 "They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces will never be ashamed."

The next photo is one of my husband and me.  We are now taking on the challenge of working TOGETHER to get healthy, lose weight, and be strong for our family.  We will take a photo of us together on the 10th of every month. (Our anniversary is June 10th, so this is a great way to remember.)  I want to do this for this whole year until our anniversary next June to keep us motivated, excited, and ready to celebrate our progress next summer.  We just celebrated 18 years of the Lord's blessings on our marriage. What a great way to look forward to another celebration!

Keep checking in for updates each month. I can't WAIT to see the changes in both of us!

    1. Susan, thank you so much for leaving a note. Great to meet another friend from Lynchburg. We spent our first married year living in Lynchburg. Good memories. :)

Great to know we have that connection. Now when I see you on ETL, I'll have a great way to remember you. May the Lord bless our efforts in health, but, even more, in shining His light to others. :)

  3. Wow, what a great transformation, it's so amazing how much the body can change in a short period of time, when you are eating to live.
