Gift card holders

A while back I bought a bunch of gift card folder holders from ShortCuts and never used them.  Well since I'm going to a craft fair I thought it would be a good time to dig them out and decorate them.
here are some samples I made today.

In the Dog house

Good monday morning! I hope you like my little project this morning, I've challenged myself to use ShortCuts gift card holders in creative ways other than to hold a gift card. This gift card holder holds a coupon. I was thinking of my husband when I created it!! I took a gift card holder from ShortCuts and made it into a coupon holder. The coupon gives my husband a "free pass out of the dog house". I hope he uses it wisely..LOL.

My husband is getting this card for Father's Day. Do you think he'll like it? hehehehe

Seize the Cupcake_ShortCuts 3D Friday

Wow! Today is my last 3D Friday post for ShortCuts. Another month is over already. Today’s post is a Gift Card Holder. Instead of a gift card I filled it with little pull-tabs with funny saying to cheer a friend. These gift cardholders are so fun to use, and for the next couple of months I’ll be showing you what other ways you can use them to! They even come in 4 different colours, White, Vanilla, Kraft and Black.

Here’s a file of the sayings I used (got them from a daily desk calendar). Just print, cut out and add your favourite stamp image.
The tabs read:
Your family thinks you’re a good egg even if you’re a little cracked.
You can’t have to may friends or pairs of shoes.
When the going gets tough, the tough eat cake
Never eat more than you can lift

A Valentine for the Kiddos

I thought it would be cute to make a Valentine for a child, something fun and bright that speaks to them. So what I made was a gift card holder except it holds “coupons” instead of a gift card. The coupons are for 1 treat, 2 hugs and kisses and 1 day of not making your bed!! What do you think? Do you think a little boy or girl would like this. What other "coupons" could I include for this project?

Gift Card Holders

A cup of Friendship

So here’s an example of my new favourite card type…it’s a Gift Card Holder!! Isn’t it cool!! It folds up like an accordion to form a card that has a little pocket inside. It will hold a gift card perfectly, but I think it can hold other things, so my mission now is to list all the different ways this cardholder can be used.
If you have any suggestions let post it in the comments, I’d love to hear your ideas. I have a few ideas for these and will post pics as soon as they are done. Stay tuned!!
