Dad's day tickets

It's Whimsie Wednesday time and this week's challenge is to use a die or die cut on your work.  Pretty simple.  Stop by the Whimsie Doodles blog and upload your card, there's a free digi to one lucky player.
Today I made a coupon book for Father's day.  It was pretty easy as most of the work was already done for me all I had to do was print off the Dad's tickets and decorate them.  Oh and add the heart shaped die.

Whimsie Doodles is sponsoring the latest challenges at the 2 Sisters Challenge Blog, Tuesday Throwdown and Cardabilities. Make sure to stop by all three places to find out how to play along and win a gift certificate to the Whimsie Doodles Online Store! They also have a special, limited time, discount offer.

Let it snow!

I was blurfing the other day and found a fabulous blog Sunny Stampin' Inc with the cutest snowman card.  I loved it so much I had to CASE it with my own little details.
The snowman card was such a pain to make that I decided to just stick him on a regular card.

I used a tree box template from SCS to make the Angel's body. You can even put candy inside her. What a cute gift for someone!! Hummmm...

The rest of her I made up, the wings are the snowflake stamp, I used MS glue pad to put adhesive on the stamp to make a sticky image and put glitter over top, you can't see it but it's there. The lace trim was punched from a border punch in 3 pieces then glued and trimmed. I have a tiny mitten punch that I love using to make hands and I did bead and tie the snowflakes together. I'm thinking now I should have taken step by step photos of the process.

Here is a fabulous site for step by step instructions on how to make the triangle box
