Winter Cricut cards

I know it's way to early for Christmas cards but these just came back to me Friday. They were published in Cricut Magazine's Dec issue and they usually hold on to them until the issue expires then the cards are sent home. The best part is that I also recieved a free issue:)
Here's the cover.
Here are my cards...

Out of this world

Good morning all!  I was just browsing through my on-line subscription of Cricut and realized the February edition was out.  That means I can share my cards with you.  If you checkout out my CricArt (Cricut Art) tab you'll see projects (mostly cards) that I made using only Cricut images.
This card is my favorite mainly because I was so surprised at how cool looking the robot turned out.  To be honest I love my Cricut but I hate having to load a dozen cardstocks into the machine just to make one image so I decided I was going to just use my Neenah white cardstock and cut every shape I needed all at once, then once everything was cut I coloured the different pieces with my Copics.  It was awesome to finish an image so quickly, plus add dimension and have any colour "cardstock" my copics could make.  Easy peasy!
Here it is on page 80/81
I also used a stamp set I designed on this card called "Out of this world"

*hint-if you want to try colouring your Cricut pieces leave them on the sticky mat.  It's so much easier to let the mat "hold" everything still for you while you colour the image!

Paper Crafts 365 Cards

That's the name of the new Paper Crafts 365 Cards issue.  It's one of my favorite issues because they show all sorts of holidays/occasions/celebrations.  I especially love the non traditional ones!!

The really exciting part is that I have 6 cards in this issue!!  It's my biggest number of cards for one issue in Paper Crafts.  I can't believe it myself.  I had to count them 3 times before I believed it! LOL
This first card is my favorite.  The card shape is from Whimsie Doodles, the stamps from PSA Essentials (super star).

Ahoy

I knew when I purchased my Cricut Expression that I probably wouldn't use it much.  Although I sore to my husband that I'd have all kinds of uses for it.  I do, I just don't act on many!  But what I didn't anticipate is how much I'd love using it.  When I wipe the dust of and fire it up I can't stop myself, I usually run out of time.  So I put all my cuts in baggies and when I'm inspired I break open a few and start assembling.  Here is one of my favorite cards using the Create a Critter cartridge.

Make a Splash

As promised here is another card that was published in Cricut Magazine June/July.  I was so excited to see this card featured in their sneak peek.  What a happy surprise especially since this is one of my favorites because it's so bright and fun.  I'm loving the postage graphic from Cricut.  I've been making different sizes all day.  That's one of the things I love about my Cricut I will never run out of my favorite shapes unless of course I run out of paper that is!

Everyday Tags

Well I've been "sitting" on these tags for what feels like a long time (6 months) but I can finally show them to you.  I've had to keep them secret because they were published in Cricut Magazine (June/July) issue.  Here's the cover
The category these tags were submitted for is called Everyday Life and I thought the sentiments Dare To Dream from PSA Essentials were perfect for this.
Here are all the tags (even though only one was published).
Stop by the PSA Essentials Stamp Camp blog to get your mojo going.

Toooty toot toot

What a super fantastic day I had today!! First I went on a road trip to visit my parents, had lunch with Mom, visited my grandfather (Poppy) and came home to the Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine and I'm in it!! I have a digital page published on page 115. Oh I'm so excited!! Now that I've stopped bounching around my kitchen I can show you the layout.
here's a pic of the cover.

And guess what??? Canadian Scrapbooker cantacted me and asked if I'd like to be featured in their "Passport to Creativety" segment. For each issue they choose 3 scrapbookers from a province and feature them in this segment. And they want ME!!!! I can't believe it! The publish 3 of your layouts, your photo and a little question/answer section. I'm so nervous about sounding silly!! LOL. Anyway the issue I'll be in will be out in Oct of this year. My only concern now is if they pick a goofy pic of me...hahahahhaha! (keeping my fingers crossed).
