Don't ya feel like dancing...

I love this image of Miss S-T-E-L-L-A and have been waiting to ink her up - when I saw Amy R's sketch this weekend I figured she would be perfect

Stellarina is stamped with mementos ink and coloured her with copics, I added some mirco fine glitter along her tu-tu and on her crown & wand. The cb is ivory cs layered with pink pirouette. The ds paper is from October Afternoon's Ducks in a Row line called little piggy's. I added some pink ribbon.

The sentiment is from Stamping Bella, words we should all live by, but I know I don't - heck I can't go to the gym without my trainer because I don't want people "watching me" even though I know no one would be...

Don't forget Em will be posting this weeks Bellariffic Friday challenge today may sure you stop by Bloggabella to see what it is, remember if you play along you can win bellabucks!

Thanks for stopping by - managed to get all 18 holes in yesterday with no rain or thunderstorms it was a great day!!

Bitty, Bitty, Bitty

I must say I do love these Bittyblooms; I don't know why it took me so long to get on the bitty bus!

This time I used Poppy Bittybloom & Amy R's Friday sketch (AMYRS69). I stamped the image with memento ink and coloured it with lyras & prismacolors with mineral spirits. I added some glitter on the center of the flowers and along her skirt.
I popped the poppy up and added some Prima flowers with cotton candy bonbons in both 7mm & 5mm. The DS paper is basic greys Sultry layered on green bazzil cs.

Remember you have until tomorrow at 5pm EST to send your cards to Em for this weeks Bellariffic challenge which is another sketch challenge; this one is by our babe Paula

You can still sign up for the ATC swap and the birthday blog hop

Have a great day - I am hoping for no rain (and sunshine but most importantly no rain) because I am going golfing (yes Wendy golfing again!)

My Best Friend

It seemed like a long way away when my BFF booked her trip from Boston to Calgary BUT she arrives on Friday & I am getting excited - maybe that's the reason I made this "my best friend" card - I mean I am taller then her!!

For this card I used Amy R's Sketch 60. The images are from October Afternoons Night Light stamps (aren't they the cutest?!) I stamped the images on Gina K's pure luxury cs with memento black ink and coloured them with lyra pencils and mineral spirits. Naturally you HAVE to add googlie eyes to these little guys!

The base is SU's pumpkin pie layered with basic black and lavender lace cs. The DS paper is from Daisy Bucket Designs "little monsters" line that Gloria and the girls at Scrapbooker's Paradise North convinced me I "had" to have (yeah it didn't take much!!)
Thanks for another great sketch Amy - yep only 3 more sleeps til my best friend arrives!!

Have a great day

HALO...

aBella is so sweet & lucky for more I got to paper piece to my hearts content!!

I finally had a chance to play along with Amy R's Friday Sketch 50 - I honestly don't know where the weekends go! Yesterday I went to a movie (not an Oscar nominated one because that would be a logical choice, to see at least 1 of them) but really that's just a few hours out of the day!

Anyways...Haloabella is stamped with memento ink and the l little colouring I did is with copics, all the paper piecing is from Basic Grey's porcelain collection. I added some glitter to her wings and the clouds and her halo (we all have them right?!) is coloured with a gelly roll pen.

The sentiment is from stamping bella and I added some small cotton candy bon bons

Remember Bellariffic Fridays are back click here to see the wonderful inspiration Nickabella found for us! Everyone can play, just email your bella creation to Em before 5pm EST on Thurs.

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day we`re suppose to get more snow & it`s really cold again; I know it`s because my Hubby is in Florida working & golfing!!

Sending you some Valentine lovin'

Happy Valentines Day!!! Yep this is it my last Valentines card! This one is for my in-laws; whenever they actually get it :)

For this card I used Amy R's Friday Sketch58
Sending you love is stamped with Mementos ink & coloured with Copics; I tried to make his hair sandy blond because that's the colour hubby's hair was back in the day. I used Atyou spica pens on the roses and leaves to and used Niji Pearlescent on the mailbox to give it the look of metal. I paper pieced the part of the mailbox that shows if you have mail (sorry have no idea
what it's called since I have either had mail delivered directly to my house or now a super box) I also paper pieced the stamp on the heart.
The paper is all from SU - Not Quite Navy & Real Red in cs and DS paper. I added Stamping Bella Bon Bons in Ruby Red. because you always need bling on a card!

Hope you all have a fantastic Valentines Day - ours will be quiet with a dinner at home, a nice bottle of wine and maybe he will help cook ?! Then of course being us we will be watching Hockey Night in Canada's double header; who says romance is dead?!?!
Thanks for stopping by

At the good ol' Hockey Game...

When we went to Montreal last weekend for the NHL All Star game we were guests of one of the companies hubby deals with so I made a thank you card for them.
Amy R's sketch for this week worked perfectly with the stamp I found in my stash (I think it's from Michael's 1.50 bin)
The image is stamped on Gina K's Pure Luxury CS and coloured with copics then mounted on SU's Night of Navy cs; both cut with nesties.

The card base is SU Riding Hood Red and the Ribbon is also Riding hood Red. The DS paper was in my stash; the one has the definition of Hockey, the other has a team logo on one side (Edmonton of course) then the side I used looks like ice after it's been skated on. The senitment is from SU's short & sweet set - I love the font and size of those words.

I decorated the inside with layers of SU's Night of navy and the DS paper I liked the look of the ice with skate marks and it would be easier to write our thanks.

Sorry for the late post; we have company staying with us so I didn't get it set to post early this morning - I am hoping I will find time to stamp this weekend

Thanks for stopping by and having a look - have a great Saturday

If only I could...

jump for joy like FABBY!!! If I tried I am sure my hubby would then be loading me into the car for a trip to the hospital with some bizarre injury; some would say I am a bit of a klutz.

I am SO excited my BFF Karen booked a ticket to come for a visit!!! Yep I am already trying to think of fab things to do while she is here; when I visited her in October we went to see Madonna; nothing that exciting coming up here BUT at least we will get to hang out for a WEEK!! Really our poor hubby's will now have to listen to constant chatter about the visit - at least they are both good sports and support our need to stamp and fly to see each other for at least a week a few times a year - that's what they get for moving us away from each other!

For this card I used Amy R's sketch 54 - it was perfect for the fabby image and I loved the design - thanks Amy for the inspiration!

I inked Fabby with black memeto ink and stamped her on Gina K 80lb cardstock and I coloured her with copics to match the fab designer paper I found; it has both pumpkin & pinks mine & Karen's favs so it was a easy fit :) To give Fabby's skirt a little shimmer I added bella liquid water glitter and for her glasses I used a little crystal effects for the lenses.

The DS paper is from WeR memory makers & it's called Nonsense Ding-Dong. The base of the card is SU's pumpkin pie, and I layered the DS paper on SU's Baja Breeze then the strip is Kiwi Kiss embossed with cuttlebugs bloom dots, then sanded to give it the rough effect that is on the edges of the DS paper.

I used my new nesties curved rectangles to cut Fabby and she is layered on SU's Rose Red. I added pumpkin ribbon. The circles are SU's Baja Breeze and the flowers are put on with the Kajinker - a very cool tool that I bought in August before moving from Stamping Bella & FINALLY took it out of it's packaging! It is a tagger system & there are a lot of great shapes - for this I used small flowers.

Thanks for stopping by - have a great Sunday
