Sweet Sunday 202

I'm back today with Karen's SSSC202 and I'm loving that they are back to weekly challenges!

For my card I inked up a stamped I bought this summer from Unity Stamps Itty Bitty line - Completely Insane

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  I used a pitch black atyou spica pen on some of the dots around the image
The dp is EP's Everyday Eclectic

Please stop by the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers blogs and if you have a chance to play along with us this week remember to link your card on Karen's blogs

Thanks for stopping by!

Canadian Thanks

Hubby and I were lucky enough to be guests last weekend in Whistler for the Olympics, and he is being taken to all the hockey games and closing ceremonies so I needed some thank yous. I've been struggling all week with the concept and then this morning the wonderfully talented Nancy McKinney sent me an email that she put something up on her blog that I might like so I immediately went to look & was so excited!

I made 5 cards tonight, and I am so thrilled with these images, we Canadians are normally very quietly patriotic so it's been exciting to see how proud & loud we have been during the Olympics.

For all you Canadian girls make sure you pop over to Nancy's blog and download the images & have fun. As I am writing this I am watching our Canadian Women's hockey team receive their gold medals - and yes Wendy I saw hubby on tv tonight since he was in row 2!!

happy sad card...

Today I am meeting a friend for coffee who is moving to Vancouver this weekend, so this will be our last coffee together in awhile! I am so excited for her because she chose to go back to school after looking after her kids and getting the degree she wanted & now is choosing to move to Vancouver where she has wanted to be for a long time, but I am sad because it's been nice spending time with her since being back in Calgary; so it's a happy sad card.

I chose this saying from Unity Stamps, because it so fits her; she is someone I truly admire for knowing what she wants and then making a plan and getting there; no matter how long it takes - I tend to get derailed if things take too long.

The paper and flowers are all from my June Key Ingredients kit and on the sentiment I added some green apple smooch and stickles

Thanks for stopping by, don't forget it's Em's birthday tomorrow so we are having a blog hop for her day & she is releasing new stuff what a perfect day!!
