Inky Impressions Anything Goes

Happy Saturday...I hope you are enjoying your weekend!  Yesterday was my Bro's birthday, so tonight we are celebrating!  It's going to be a great time!!!

Yesterday was another Inky Impressions Challenge!  This weeks challenge is ANYTHING GOES. Yes I am a day late getting my post up....between the three interviews, one exam, and funeral for a friend's grandma that I had this past week I didn't get time to finish my project until today.  But I did manage to get it done so I can now share it with you! :)  I've once again used Lili's First Day of School for my project!
I've used my Kaisercraft Gypsy Sister papers and mod podge to cover up a wall hanging.  I thought this altered project would make the perfect wall hanging or desk decoration for a special teacher!
Lili was colored with copics and accented with a white gel pen!  I originally colored two Lili's in this color scheme....the first one was used on this project -->HERE<-- and the 2nd Lili was going to be to used to make a matching card, but then I saw this wall hanging in my studio that I wanted to alter and thought the 2nd Lili would be PERFECT on it!
I've finished the hanging by adding a thankful sentiment, some rhinestone swirls, and of course with a Wild Orchid flowers arrangement that consists of 25mm Wild Rose, 15mm roses, 10mm roses, and 4mm closed rosebuds. Flowers have been sparklized by Star Dust Stickles.

This challenge runs for TWO WEEKS so you have plenty of time to head over to the Inky Impressions Challenge blog and join the fun!  Head over to the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog to see what the DT has created!!!

Inky Impressions Blog Hop

Hi Friends...Are you ready to get Inky?   Today is the start of the
Inky Impressions Blog Hop
where you will get to see lots more samples using the brand new cuties!  This hop goes on until October 1st at 12:00pm Eastern Time!  Make sure you leave comments at every stop because in doing so you have the chance to win some goodies as a winner will be picked from one of the blogs along the hop!  If you are here from the Inky Impressions Blog you are in the right spot!

Today I get to share Lili's First Day of School with you!  Isn't she soooo sweet?!  I absolutely love her holding her school book with an apple for her teacher!  I've taken a cute wooden box, painted it first with some off white spray paint, and then went over it with some Viva Decor paint, and added some flowers and pearls to decorate it up even more!  This fun box houses some fun school supplies!  This would make a cute gift for a teacher or for a student!
Miss. Lili was of course colored with Copics and accented with a White Gel Pen.
Here you can see the fun flowers and pearls that were added to dress up the box!  Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and consist of a Sweet Rose, Cherry Blossoms, Gardenias, 15mm roses, Aster Daisy, 10 mm roses, 4mm close rosebuds, and 5mm and 3mm pearls.  All flowers have been sparklized with Illuminate Smooch.
Finally here you can see the cute bag of school/office supplies that fit inside the cute wooden box!  I hope you have enjoyed my creation!  Now head on over to the wonderful and talented Danni's Blog, as she's the next on the hop and has an awesome creation to share with you!

An Inky Sneak Peek

Good Morning~
I hope you are enjoying the last day of your weekend!  My hubby was gone all weekend to a snowmobile show with his buddies and he returns home today, I can't wait...I miss him lots!  It's so hard to sleep when he's not home.

Today is my day to share my Inky Impressions SNEAK PEEK with you as this month's guest designer!  Every day for the next week there will be a new post on the Inky Impressions Blog showing you the brand new images. Following sneak peek week we will then have a blog hop along with the release of these new cuties!  Now without further ado....

Meet Lili playing in the leaves!
Isn't she so sweet, having a blast outside!  Oh how I wish I could be outside but the ragweed is really raising havoc with my sinuses...guess that means more crafty time inside!  Papers are from Inque Boutique Memoirs collection.  The large dark blue scalloped circle is made with my Marianne design die that I got at CHA.  Lili has been cut our with a SB labels 14 and popped up on a SB beaded oval.  The dark blue pearls in the corners of the card are a combination of 3mm and 5mm self adhesive pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts

Lili was colored with Copics and accented with a white gel pen.  After cutting her out with my SB labels 14 die I left her in the die and airbrushed around the image with my B000 Copic to get a "sky" background.  The small pearls on the beaded oval die are also 3mm pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The blue twine behind Lili started out white and was airbrushed, and then I tied on a lovely leaf charm (from Inky Impressions) that matches the image perfectly.  You can find Inky Impressions charms -->here<--.  I colored the charm with a red, yellow, and orange Copic to match the leaves in the image.
Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and consist of 25mm Roses, Cherry Blossoms, 15mm roses, and 3mm pearls.
The second flower collection consists of 15mm roses.  All of the flowers have been sparkalized with Illuminate Smooch.  You can also see how the charm has been colored with Copics in this view.

I hope you have enjoyed my sneaky peek!  Don't forget to stop by the Inky Impressions Blog all week to see all the other wonderful new stamps and samples by the amazing DT!

Inky Impressions 2nd DT Call!

Hi! I hope everyone is doing GREAT! I only have 3 more days of school left! Woot Woot...the countdown is on! YAY! With that said, I have more good news....Inky Impressions is looking for a few more people for their DT!

These stamps are GORGEOUS, so if you haven't heard of them or seen them yet...you have to go HERE to check them out! I can't wait to order some of these cuties and ink them up! Lili is my favorite!!!

Part of the DT Call is to share one of your favorite cards and a favorite project for consideration. We all know how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Copics so I chose this WOJ card that I feel showcases my coloring with my lovelies as I have colored the whole scene here!

And a close up of my coloring:
And this is my favorite project that I have created to date:

To take a plain wooden star keepsake box and turn it into a treasure was so much fun! I had a blast decorating this, from the pasting and measuring, to the cutting and painting...it was so much fun! And of course I had to use my Copics on this project too! I colored the little cutie inside. All the exposed wood was painted with a shimmery taupe paint and it does sparkle a lot IRL!I hope my creations meet Inky Impressions' standard for the DT! I would love the chance to create for Nicole! Thanks for considering me for your DT! I am keeping my fingers, toes, legs, arms, eyes and everything I can crossed!

Thanks for stopping by!
