Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Another weekend is nearly upon us!  What happened to this week?  It went by in a blur for me.  I still have lots to do, but I am here now to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz. The theme this time is "animals" in honor of World Animal Day today.  We'd like to see an animal on your creation and don't forget, you must have some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are a dark slate color from Archivers. The patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Dilly Dally 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Best of Friends Boy from Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy Stamps.  I was lucky enough to have won this stamp during one of the release blog hops.  I stamped it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I finished my card with a bunch of yummy embellishments for a shabby chic sort of look: lace, Baker's Twine, a button, chipboard corners from MiC and a few Wild Orchid Crafts flowers.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the gorgeous animal-inspired cards from the rest of my DT sistahs!  We hope you will play along!  They are always lots of awesome prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Paper Crafting Journey (for a boy)
Through The Craftroom Door Challenge (anything goes)

Have a wonderful day and see you tomorrow for  Little Miss Muffet's Super Saturday post!

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  I get to see some dear friends that I haven't seen in almost two years, so I am really looking forward to the weekend!  First things first, though.  I am here to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  This week we have a color inspiration challenge for you.  We've never done one for this challenge, so we thought it would be fun.

Here is the photo we have for inspiration:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Kate & Co. Cambridge and Collectable Unforgettable 6x6 pads.  My cute image is Fairy Wishes from Saturated Canary for Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.  She was another kind gift from my teammie, Tress when I won her blog candy awhile back.  I stamped her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A satin bow and a few gems from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Alcohol Marker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you've got some fun plans for the weekend!  It has finally stopped raining here, at least for awhile.  It didn't rain at all yesterday and the sun is shining this morning!  I was beginning to think we would need a boat to get around!  Anyway, before I get on with my day, I am here to post my DT card for this week's Alcohol Marker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  Given that it is the last Friday of the month, our theme is the ever popular, "anything goes" and as always, we offer the Christmas twist to those who would like to add a Christmas card to their stash.  It's completely optional to do so.  The only requirement is that you have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the patterned papers, top and bottom, are from the My Mind's Eye All Is Bright 6x6 pad.  My adorable image is Three Little Angels from Lili of The Valley.  It was one of the wonderful goodies in the fabulous blog candy I won from my DT sister, Tress.  Isn't it precious?  I stamped it on MiC Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with my Copics.  I added Star Dust Stickles to the clouds, Golden Rod Stickles to the star garlands in their hair and Diamond Stickles to their little wings.  Some wide lace and three Imaginisce chipboard alpha stickers, spelling out JOY, finished my card.  Another flat design for easy mailing!

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will be inspired to play along!  It's your last chance to get in on the draw for a terrific prize from our July sponsor, Bombshell Stamps.  There are also lots of  fantastic site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend! Sorry I've been MIA again this week.  I've been working behind the scenes on some upcoming DT cards, but to be honest, I'm not feeling much like designing and coloring just yet.  I'm sure I will get back in the swing of things soon, but right now, I have a bunch of things to take care of first.  On a more upbeat note, I am here this morning to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Marker Challenge on The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "travel".  Perfect for this time of year when lots of people take fun vacations with their families!  Interpret the theme any way you'd like, but you must have some coloring with alcohol markers on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base, mats and ornate frame are all SU Island Indigo and the two patterned papers are from the Webster's Pages Palm Beach Petite Papers pack.  The fun image is Pack Light from Saturated Canary. You can find her in Krista's store here.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some ribbon, a few pearls and three felt flowers finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the fantastic creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will play along this week!  The July challenges are being sponsored by Bombshell Stamps.  One randomly-selected participant in this month's challenges will win a fab prize from Bombshell Stamps.  There are also lots of great site-wide prizes to be won when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

Hi there!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  I am a bit late with my DT post for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  Our theme this week is "Wild West/Rodeo".  I am sure you can come up with some fun images to color up for this theme!  Please be sure you've used alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Perfect Plum and the patterned papers are from the Webster's Pages Western Romance and Hollywood Vogue Petite Papers packs.  The fun image is from a digi set called Horsing Around from Bombshell Stamps, our sponsor for this month's challenges.  I was generously provided with this image for the challenge.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Eucalyptus and Gold Stickles to her boots.    The sentiment is from the same Bombshell set.  I colored it with Copics and added Stickles to make it sparkle!   I finished my card with some brown gingham ribbon and a metal star charm tied with twine.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope those in the US had a safe and enjoyable 4th of July.  It was rainy and windy here, so not much to do outside.  I spent the day running errands and getting caught up on things I've missed during this difficult week.  I am here now to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme for this first week in July is "picnics/barbecues".  Any image is fine, but you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Blue Denim and the patterned papers are from the Webster's Pages Citrus Squeeze collection.  My fun image is a digi called Thrill of the Grill from Karen's Doodles.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the BBQ Word Art set in Paulette's store here.  A big button from my stash with some red twine finished my card.

Here is my card:

I went with the Christmas twist and kept the layout "flat" for better mailing.  Yes, I'm learning - lol! My card base and mats are SU Lucky Limeade and the patterned papers are from the Recollections Festivus 6x6 pad.  The fun image is digi16709 Need More Elves from QKR Stampede.  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added a bunch of Waterfall, Red and Green Stickles to the gifts and star on the tree and Glossy Accents to Santa's spectacles.

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  It's been a crazy week for me, but I am hoping for a little downtime over the weekend!  Maybe I can even make it into my craft room for a bit.  Anyway, right now, I'm here to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Marker Challenge on The Outlawz site.  Our theme this week is "weddings/anniversaries".  You can make anything you like with that theme, but your project must have coloring with alcohol markers.

Here is my card:

I made a center step card with a base and mats of SU Soft Sky and patterned paper from the Basic Grey Cappella collection.  My wedding image is Married from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added a bit of sparkle to her dress, shoes and veil with Star Dust Stickles.  The frame was made with Cheery Lynn's Polynesian Sails Oval die.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A bunch of Wild Orchid Crafts roses, a silk ribbon bow and a few pearl sprays finished my card.

I've also got something exciting to share today!  We've got a new feature starting today over on the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog.  Barbara is starting up "Friday Freebies" beginning today!  She will be providing a new freebie every Friday and some members of the DT will share their projects with the freebie for your inspiration.  Head on over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the first Friday Freebie and find out how you can get the cute new image for yourself!

On to my card, which is for both the Alcohol Marker Challenge and the Friday Freebie:

My card base and mats are SU Basic Black and the patterned papers are from the Trinity Paper Arts Sincerely collection.  The adorable image is this week's Little Miss Muffet Friday Freebie, Amelie (Back).  She is new in the Polka Dot Pals range. I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some white highlights to the polka dots on her bow with my Sharpie White Paint Pen and some Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen accents to the Spellbinders Floral Oval frame.  I kept the layout and embellishments simple, adding only a burgundy satin bow and a little metal clock charm from Miriam's Crafting Supplies. It's another from the bag of goodies I won from Miriam when I won a recent challenge she sponsored.

Candy Cane Dreams

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  Can you believe that tomorrow is the 1st of June already?  Where does the time go?  Wasn't it just January? Anyway, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  It is the last Friday of the month, so the theme is the ever-popular "anything goes" and we offer up the option to put a Christmas twist on it, if you'd like.  That is not a requirement for the challenge.  The only thing that is a requirement is to have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

I decided to get back to the Christmas twist this month. My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Aspen Frost 6x6 pad.  The fun image is Peppermint from MayzyArt.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Red Stickles to the ornaments on her shoes and necklace and Glossy Accents to the holly berries in her hair. The sentiment was a freebie on Whimsy Stamps Facebook page last October.    Some Ice White Pearl Pen accents, two sparkly holly stickers and an olive satin bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from my teammies, Jen, Linda and Dawn!  We hope you will play along!  The May challenges are being sponsored by 2 Cute Ink.  One randomly-selected participant in this month's challenges will win 3 digistamps of their choice from 2 Cute Ink.  There are also lots of site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  The weekend is nearly here and for those in the US, it's Memorial Day weekend with an extra day off!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend! I've got a lot going on today, so I'll make my post brief.  I am here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "one layer cards".  We want to see images colored on the card base or no more than one layer above the card base.  Don't forget that there must be coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

This was a really hard challenge for me!  As you know, I love my patterned papers and layers and I rarely go the CAS route with my cards.  The image and sentiment are from the Write, Paint, Create set by 2 Cute Ink for Whimsy Stamps.  Heidi, from 2 Cute Ink, is sponsoring our challenges for the month of May.  I stamped the image and sentiment directly on the card base of XPress-It Card and colored the image with my Copics. I added some Fruit Punch Stickles to the pool of paint and tip of the paintbrush for a little sparkle.  That is it!  Clean and simple - lol!

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the fantastic CAS creations from the rest of the DT!  They do this style far better than me, as you will see!  We hope you will play along!  As I mentioned, our May challenges are being sponsored by 2 Cute Ink.  One randomly-selected participant in this month's challenges will win three digistamps of their choice from Heidi's 2 Cute Ink store.  There are also lots of site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you are ready for a fun weekend ahead!  I'm still dealing with things other than crafting right now, so I have to keep this brief, but I wanted to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "cute and cuddly".  You can interpret this as you wish, but please remember you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is what I came up with:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are from the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6x6 pad.  The darling image is Freddy from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I added a few white pearl accents with my Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some Bermuda Bay dotted ribbon and a few buttons from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Bloom Where You Are Planted

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and there is fun in store for you for the weekend!  It seems that at least half the weekend is going to be raining here, so we'll have to enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.  Before I get on with my day, I am popping in to share my DT card for the Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  As always for the last Friday of the month, we have our ever-popular theme of  "anything goes" with an optional twist of making a Christmas card.    This leaves it all pretty wide open, but please remember you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

I decided against a Christmas card this month, but hope to get back to them next month.  I went with a springy pink and green combo.  It looks more red in the photos, but it's definitely pink in real life.  My card base and mats are SU Primrose Petals and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park This & That 6x6 pad and the October Afternoon Woodland Park 8x8 pad.  The sweet image is Summer Day Emma, a digital stamp from Whimsy Stamps.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I can't seem to stop adding grass and clouds to my outdoor images!  I added some Stickles to the flower centers, the butterflies and the tiny flowers I put in the grass.  I added "pearls" around the scalloped frame with my Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen.  The sentiment is from the Flowers in Bloom Sentiments set by Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy Stamps.  I didn't add any additional embellishments this time.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the fantastic creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will play along!  It's your last chance to get in on the wonderful prize this month!  Our challenges are being sponsored by Whimsy Stamps and one randomly-selected participant in the April challenges will win 5 digis of their choice from the Whimsy Stamps store!  As always, there are also lots of wonderful site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!
