Little Miss Muffet Challenge #75 - You've Been Framed

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  How is it that we are at Thursday again?  Time seems to gallop along this time of year!  I've been very busy this week and haven't had a lot of time for crafting, but of course, I have my DT project for this week's Little Miss Muffet post.   We have a new challenge for you today.  The theme this time is "you've been framed".  We want to see a frame on your project.  It can be stamped, doodled, cut-out, anything, really, so long as there's a frame.  Easy and fun, don't you think?

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned Papers are from the Basic Grey Aspen Frost 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Swings 'n Slides Perfect Christmas by Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  In the UK, you can purchase him from My Mum's Craft Shop.  I framed him with a new digi, Hatched Lace Border, from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored him with my Copics and added some Glossy Accents to Rudolph's nose.  I thought about coloring the frame, too, but I liked the doodled look of it so I left it be.  Maybe next time.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A dimensional stocking sticker, a narrow bow and a few gems, all from my stash, finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet blog and check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the Little Misses and our wonderful Guest Designers, Jenny and Andrea!  We hope you will join in!  You have until Tuesday, December 17th at 11:55 PM CST to enter your project.  All the challenge details and rules are on the blog.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge #12 (Christmas/Winter)
Stamp and Create December Challenge (anything goes)
Divas by Design (feeling festive)

Dance in the Rain

Hi again!  I'm back with a second post today.  It's a miracle, I know.  I started feeling a little better this afternoon, so I went into the craft room and got a card done that I now want to share.  It's for a few challenges that I will name at the bottom of my post.

Here it is:

My circle easel card base and mats are SU More Mustard and the pretty fall-colored papers are from the Basic Grey Clippings (patchwork backgrounds), Black Tie, Oxford and Stella Ruby collections.   The adorable image is Sweet Oklahoma from Saturated Canary.  You can find her in Krista's store here.  I colored her skin, hair and bow with my Copics and paper-pieced the rest of the image.  The sentiment is a Friday Freebie from Sharon's A Piece of Heart blog.  You can see a close-up below.  A triple-loop bow of mustard grosgrain and a bunch of coordinated Basic Grey buttons finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored and paper-pieced image:

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday and Friday, the 13th, at that! At last the weekend is nearly here!  What a busy week it's been!  I'm hoping for a quiet weekend with some time in my craft room, but we'll see.  Before that, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this time is "chocolate", in honor of International Chocolate Day.   Who doesn't love chocolate?

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Dark Bown and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Bittersweet collection.  Remember that one?  It was awhile back when that came out, but I still had some hoarded.  The main image was created by merging lots of little chocolates from the Tea Party Food Combo set from Little Miss Muffet Stamps with a tray to hold them.  The tray is from the Tea Party Dishes and Trays set.  I printed the merged image onto MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Perfect, right?  I finished up my card with a simple Pink Pirouette twill bow.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the mouth-watering chocolate creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will play along this week!   We've got a fantastic sponsor for the September Challenges.  Digistamps 4 Joy are sponsoring and they are offering the randomly-selected winner of this month's challenges five digis of their choice from the DS4J shop!  There are also lots of monthly site-wide prizes to be won when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

You're In My Thoughts

Good morning!  It's very early on Sunday and I hope when you see this I am still sleeping (please, Mr. Blogger, do your thing)!  I am here to post a card I made for this week's Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #220.  Little Miss Muffet Stamps is the sponsor for this week, so the Little Misses were invited to create a card for the challenge.  Miraculously, I managed to get my act together and actually make a card for the challenge!  Each challenge, they provide an inspiration cupcake and you are to make a card or other craft project that is inspired by the cupcake.

Here is this week's inspiration:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Rich Razzleberry and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Green At Heart Collection.  The adorable image is Fancy Sunbonnet Little Miss Muffet from Bugaboo for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored her up with my Copics and added some grass.  I added Magenta and Orange Stickles here and there for some sparkle and Glossy Accents to the ladybug.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few mulberry paper roses that I won from Jacque's Sweet Stuff, a couple of 3D butterfly stickers and a some pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you will be inspired to go play along in this week's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge!

I am entering my card in the following challenge:
Basic Grey Challenges #98 (flowers)
Sunday Sketch & Stamp #166 (any sketch from past; I used #165 below)

Candy Cane Dreams

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  Can you believe that tomorrow is the 1st of June already?  Where does the time go?  Wasn't it just January? Anyway, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  It is the last Friday of the month, so the theme is the ever-popular "anything goes" and we offer up the option to put a Christmas twist on it, if you'd like.  That is not a requirement for the challenge.  The only thing that is a requirement is to have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

I decided to get back to the Christmas twist this month. My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Aspen Frost 6x6 pad.  The fun image is Peppermint from MayzyArt.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Red Stickles to the ornaments on her shoes and necklace and Glossy Accents to the holly berries in her hair. The sentiment was a freebie on Whimsy Stamps Facebook page last October.    Some Ice White Pearl Pen accents, two sparkly holly stickers and an olive satin bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from my teammies, Jen, Linda and Dawn!  We hope you will play along!  The May challenges are being sponsored by 2 Cute Ink.  One randomly-selected participant in this month's challenges will win 3 digistamps of their choice from 2 Cute Ink.  There are also lots of site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sunday Sketch & Stamp #158 (Marie's sketch)
MayzyArt Challenge #018 (sweets)
Basic Grey Challenges #94 (inspired by a song; I chose Candy Cane Christmas from Darius Rucker)

Have a wonderful day and see you soon!

Little Miss Muffet Challenge #57

Hi there!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week so far!  Sorry to be MIA again.  I've got a lot going on and despite my best efforts, I haven't made it to my craft room much this week.  But of course, I could not miss my Thursday DT post for Little Miss Muffet.  We've got a new challenge for you this week and the theme is "Easter".  Perfect timing with Easter less than two weeks away.  Can't wait to see all the gorgeous pastel creations for this one!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Pretty In Pink and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Sweet Threads collection.  I created the layered Easter egg background with my Cameo using free cut files from the Scrap Girls Eggstra Special set that I found here. The bottom egg base was cut from aqua glitter paper.  My adorable image is Lil' Bunny from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  It is available as a rubber stamp, but I used the digi version.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Glossy Accents to her glasses.  I cut her out with my Cameo and popped her up on foam tape over the top egg.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few glittery dimensional Easter egg stickers finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and feast your eyes on the adorable creations from the rest of the DT, our wonderful Guest Designer for March, Margreet, and our special guests, Julie D. and Cris!  We hope you'll join in on the challenge!  You have until Tuesday, April 2, to enter your project.  If you use a Little Miss Muffet or any Pollycraft image, you can enter with "anything goes" as the theme and you can enter as many times as you'd like.  Otherwise, please follow the theme and enter only once.

Friends Are Your Umbrella

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  It has been pouring down rain here for the last three days and it sure is gloomy, not to mention sopping!  It's hard to feel like doing anything when it is so dark all day!  However, I did manage to make a quick card to showcase one of the new sets Paulette has added to her Create With TLC store.  It's very appropriate for the weather we've been having, that's for sure!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are from one of my favorite Basic Grey collections, Hello Luscious.  The main image is from the Friends Are Your Umbrella Digi set from Create With TLC.  You can find it Paulette's store here.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added metal accents to the umbrella with my Silver Letraset Metallic marker and Yellow Stickles to the flower centers. The image was cut out with my Cameo.  The sentiment is from the same digi set.  Three Wild Orchid Crafts flowers finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to have some time to visit your blogs tomorrow morning before I head out.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Basic Grey Challenges #87 (your favorite; I used my favorite Hello, Luscious paper)

Hugs and Kisses

Hi there!  Happy Friday!  It's been a crazy week, so I'm glad the weekend is nearly here.  I'm popping in to share a card I made for a few challenges I like to do when I can.  I'll keep it brief since I need to run out the door pretty soon.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Sugar Rush 6x6 pad.  My sweet image is Sweet Melissa from Kenny K.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I was experimenting with a different hair color I saw mentioned on someone's blog.  Not sure about it, but it was a nice change.  The combo was E59, E19, E08, YR24 and Y26 in case you are interested.  I added a bit of Star Dust Stickles to her pendant and that was it for the image.  I cut her out with my Cameo.  There are a bunch of other Cameo cuts here - the heart square frame and the heart circle frame were freebies from one of my Silhouette groups on-line and the swirly corner were from a free cut file that was generously shared at Bird's Cards. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few pink gems and a couple of Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

That's it for now.  Thanks for stopping by and I'll be by to visit as soon as I get back this afternoon.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

That's How I Roll

Good morning!  Happy Monday!  Hope your day and week are off to a great start!  It's cold and rainy here.  A perfect day to stay in and craft, if only I could!  Before I head out into the mess, I'm popping in to share a card I made just for fun.  It happens to fit a few challenges I like to do, too.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey What's Up 6x6 pad.  My fun image is California Rolls from MayzyArt.  You can find her in Mayzy's shop here.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Stickles to her hair ties, belt and jewelry for some sparkle.  I also added Glossy Accents to the face of her watch.  The cute sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Let's Do Sushi word art set in Paulette's store here.   Three Basic Grey Bling It gems and a purple double-loop ribbon bow finished my card.

My card base and mats are SU Lucky Limeade and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Oliver 6x6 pad.  I thought they'd work perfectly with Chester!  I chose Call Me Chester for my creation.  You can find him in the Animal Friends section of the Little Miss Muffet store.  I used a digi version and printed him on Make it Colour Blending card and colored him with my Copics.  Some stitched ribbon and a few stars punched from glitter paper finished my card.

Here is a close-up of cutie Chester:

Live in Abundance

Hi there!  Happy Wednesday!  Were you beginning to think I'd given up my blog?  It's been quite a few days since I was able to post.  I've got a lot going on in my world right now and unfortunately, it's keeping me from my craft room and blog land.  I keep hoping to get back in the groove, but it hasn't happened yet.  I did manage to finish up one card on my desk.  It was made for a few challenges I like to do.  It's for the September/October Challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World (earth tones), Addicted-to-Stamps Challenge #40 (sketch), Basic Grey Challenge #78 (ribbon and lace), Love To Create Challenge #36 (Fall fun/Autumn colors) and Crafts and Me Challenge #105 (anything goes).

Here is Nadell's sketch for the A-T-S challenge:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Chocolate Chip and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Pyrus 6x6 pad.  My adorable Elisabeth Bell image is Apple Bake.  It can be found in the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection here. I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her in earth tones with my Copics.  I added a few dots of yellow Stickles to the flower centers on her apron.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.   A few Wild Orchid Crafts roses, some lace trim and a triple-loop wrinkled ribbon bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I truly appreciate your visits!  I'll be by to visit your blogs whenever I can and I'll be back tomorrow with my Little Miss Muffet DT post for the week!

It's Your Birthday!

Hi again!  I am on a roll here at the end of the week!  I guess it's to make up for the beginning of the week when I couldn't get anything done.  I am back to share a card I made for a few challenges.  It is for Tuesday Morning Sketches #158 (judged challenge - sketch plus make a birthday card), The Corrosive Challenge #155 (birthday), Basic Grey Challenges #74 (bright and bold) and Digital Tuesday Challenge #172 (recipe: 1 image, 2 papers, 3 flowers and 4 gems).

Here is TMS-158:

Here is my card:

I used SU Basic Black cardstock for my 5x7 card base and layered the sketch panels with two papers from the Basic Grey Urban Prairie collection.  My cute image is Poppy from Saturated Canary.  You can find her in Krista's store here.  I printed her on Copic X-Press It and colored her with my Copics. I had a few blending problems and don't know if it is my markers or the paper, so I'll need to work that out right quick!  I added some Diamond Stickles to the ruffle under her skirt and the center of the flower in her hair.  The birthday sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  Three Wild Orchid Crafts roses and four pink gems from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Poppy:

Thanks for stopping by again!  I really appreciate your visits and kind comments!
Have a great weekend and see you again soon!

You're So Cool

Hi there!  Hope you've had a great weekend!  It's been quite a soggy one here, which is fine for crafting indoors, but not so great for the golfers and attendees at the Regions Traditions Golf Tournament being held just down the road from me at Shoal Creek.  I had hoped to go watch the final round today, but no way I am standing out in the rain to watch golf!  I will watch the replay on TV later.

Since I didn't go, I had time to finish up a card I was making for a couple of challenges.  It is for Jackson's Digital Expression Challenge #7 (anything goes with option to use inspiration colors) and Basic Grey Challenge #69 (clean and simple).

Here is the JDE color inspiration:

Here is my card:

And a close-up of the image:

I started with a card base of SU Not Quite Navy and layered with patterned papers in the inspiration colors from the Basic Grey Marjolaine 6x6 pad.  My image is Girlz Night Out from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  I printed her on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Stickles to her shoes, jewelry and cocktail.  I added Glossy Accents over the Stickles on the glass.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.   I kept the lines clean and the layout fairly simple.  Some ribbon and a Webster's Pages Sparkler were my only embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy the rest of your day and hope to see you soon!
