Holly Jolly Christmas

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  The week is already zipping along, isn't it?  It's a busy one for me so it seems to be going by even faster!  I am popping in with a quick post to share another Christmas card I made.  I am really trying to have them ready this year and I'm actually not doing too bad so far.   If only I was good at nice, flat CAS cards, I'd be all done for sure!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Aspen Frost collection.  The cute image is Christmas Nutcracker from Saturated Canary.  You can find her in Krista's store here.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added glitter to the ball on her leggings and Diamond Stickles to the lace around her collar.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A double-loop taffeta bow, a button and a few dimensional stickers from K & Co. finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  If I haven't been by to visit yet, I will be soon!

Let The Party Begin

Good morning!  Happy Wednesday!  Hope the first half of your week has gone well!  I am popping in quickly to share a card I made for one of my niece's birthday.    I haven't been able to do much besides my DT cards these days, so I was glad to get this one done.

Here is the card:

My card base and mats are SU Cranberry Crisp and the patterned papers are all from the Carta Bella Beautiful Moments 6x6 pad.  The image is Willow Dressing Up by Elisabeth Bell for Whiff of Joy.  I don't see her in the WOJ shop right now, but I chose her when I won a WOJ gift voucher recently.  I stamped her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Golden Rod Stickles for some added sparkle.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It was also colored and "Stickled".  A few roses that I won from one of Jacque's Sweet Stuff offerings finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to be around to visit this afternoon if I haven't been by already!

Believe in the Magic

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  It's still Tuesday here, but getting later by the minute.  My week is off to a very busy start so this is the first chance I've had to pop in since I got back Sunday night.  I am here to share a card I made for a couple of challenges I enjoy doing when I have time.  I somehow managed to squeeze this one in.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned papers are from the October Afternoon Holiday Style 8x8 pad.  The festive image is Christmas Angel from Saturated Canary.  You can find her in Krista's store here.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A taffeta bow and a few gems from my stash finished my card.

Show It Off Sunday - Create With TLC

Good afternoon!  Happy Sunday!  Hope you are enjoying your weekend!  I am away for a couple of days so I've pre-scheduled this post.  I've got something very different to share with you today.  You may recall that Paulette has started a new feature on the Create With TLC blog called Show It Off Sunday.  It's a linky party that starts every Sunday and runs until the following Saturday.  Anyone can link up a crafty project there, with the only requirements being that the creation be handmade by you and it must be posted on your blog.  It has been a big hit and there have been lots of gorgeous creations posted.

I have a project to link up today.  It is not a card this time.  I made this pretty set of jewelry to share with you.  You may not know it, but before I got hooked on card-making (thanks, JoAnn!), I was totally into beading and other jewelry-making.  I was even selling my pieces for awhile where I used to live.  When I got into paper-crafting several years ago, I pretty much dropped this craft.  Just recently, I started making a couple of things and this set is one of my projects.

Sorry for the bad photo.  I'm not used to photographing jewelry.  I made the bracelet from a kit I found at Too Cute Beads.  I liked it so much that I bought similar components from a few other on-line shops and I designed a coordinating necklace and earrings.  It's all made from Swarovski Crystal components and sterling silver findings.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Fits perfectly, don't you think?

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed seeing something a little different from me today!  Scroll down one post if you'd like to pick up a beautiful freebie that Paulette from Create With TLC shared to celebrate my 400-follower milestone.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll see you when I get back!

H-O-P-E

Good morning!  Happy Monday!  Hope you had a great weekend and your week is off to a terrific start!  I  have some exciting news today!  I was invited to be a Guest Designer for this week's Love to Create Challenge!  Of course, I was thrilled to join in!  The theme for Challenge #86 is "Breast Cancer Awareness".  I was generously provided with a beautiful digistamp that I chose from Eureka Stamps for my card.  My card is also for Show it Off Sunday at Create With TLC.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Pretty in Pink and the patterned papers are from the Kaisercraft English Rose collection.  The beautiful image is digi56701 Ribbon Angel from Eureka Stamps.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A satin pink awareness ribbon with a Wild Orchid Crafts rose and a few pink pearls from my stash finished my card.

Party Animal

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  I am scrambling to get a lot done this week and can't seem to stay on track.  I did manage to make a fun card that I had hoped to have posted on Sunday.  Have you seen that Paulette has a new feature over on her Create With TLC blog?  It's called Show It Off Sunday and every Sunday, Paulette will have a new Linky Party up for you to post anything crafty that is handmade by you and has been shown on your blog.  It doesn't have to be a card and it is not restricted to items using Create With TLC products, although I am sure Paulette would like to see those, too!

Grab this badge and head over to post your own project for Show It Off Sunday!

Here is the project I am linking up this week:

I made a card using a fun image and sentiment from Create With TLC.  The card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned papers are from the Bo Bunny Surprise 6x6 pad.  I colored the giraffe and balloons with my Copics, then added a bunch of brightly-colored Stickles to make them sparkle.  A couple of balloon stickers and a few gems from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to get by to visit you a little later once I've ticked a few more things off my to do list.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Love to Create Challenge #85 (candy photo inspired)
