Outrages Brownies in the cup ya.....


I and the 3Es memang agak fanatik dengan brownies....Kali ini I cuba recipe brownies from this lady....I buat this brownies dalam cup....mudah untuk dimakan....

Resepi Outrages Brownies in the cup!!!

Ingredients and how to prepare:-))

2 sticks unsalted butter (I used salted)
2 1/3 cups semisweet chocolate chips (I subbed 1/2 cup Milk Chocolate to stir into batter)
3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
3 extra-large eggs (I used large)
1 1/2 tablespoons instant coffee powder (I used 1 TBS)
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup +2 TBS cups sugar
1/2 cup + 2TBS all-purpose flour (1/2 cup for the batter and 2 TBS for the chips and nuts) (I did not toss the nuts with flour because I sprinkled them on top)
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 1/2 cups diced walnut pieces (I used 1 cup and just sprinkled on top before baking)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease and flour a 9×13-inch pan.
Melt together the butter, 1 1/3 cups chocolate chips, and unsweetened chocolate on top of a double boiler.
Cool slightly.

In a large bowl, stir together the eggs, instant coffee, vanilla and sugar. Mix in the warm chocolate mixture and cool to room temperature.

Stir together 1/2 cup of the flour, baking powder and salt. Add to cooled chocolate mixture.
Toss 1 cup chocolate chips with 2 TBS flour to coat. Then add to the chocolate batter. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle top with chopped walnuts.

Bake for about 30 minutes (mine were finished in 24), or until tester just comes out clean.

Halfway through the baking, rap the pan against the oven shelf to allow air to escape from between the pan and the brownie dough (I did not do this). Do not over-bake! Cool thoroughly, refrigerate well and cut into bars.

Oreo Chocolate Brownies...


Quality time with my kids!!! Sessi baking with my Middle E, Eldest E takde kat rumah sebab ada kat rumah my in-law.....daripada crushkan Ore0, pecah telur, masukkan tepung, gula & chocolate cair plus butter semuanya my Middle E yang buat...I cuma tolong kacaukan dan masukkan batter ke dalam oven....yang penting my Middle enjoy dengan sessi baking with her mummy....

Resepi ni adapted from a book : How To Be A Domestic Goddess by Nigella Lawson
Oreo Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients:

375g soft butter
375g best-quality dark chocolate
6 large eggs
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
500g caster sugar
225g all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
300g chopped walnuts
Oreos, slightly crushed but so that large chunks remain


Middle E tengah patah-patahkan biskut oreo.....

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 180*C (350*F). Line a 12x9 in. pan with foil or parchment.

Melt the butter and chocolate together in a large heavy-based saucepan. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla. Measure the flour into another bowl and add the salt.

When the chocolate mixture has melted, let it cool a bit before beating in the egg mixture, and then the nuts and flour. Beat to combine smoothly and then fold in the Oreo chunks. Scrape out of the saucepan into the lined pan. The Oreos should not be sticking out of the top of the mixture, as they are likely to burn.


Ready to bake!

Bake for 25min (that is Nigella's advice. I find that these brownies need closer to 50min! But keep a close eye on them.) When they're ready, the top will be pale but the middle will still be dense. A cake tester inserted should have moist crumbs attached. It is important to watch them closely as a few minutes can make the difference between gooey brownies and dry brownies.

Final result........sedap!!!

My Youngest E makan this brownies macam makan nasi!!! 10 ketul sekaligus tuuuuu.....

Brownies with white chocolate topping!


I told u...brownies memang favourite I. Dan I suka bereksperimen dengan brownies.. Kali ni, I just letakkan white chocolate topping di atas batter tersebut. Recipe ikut sini ye...

My Middle E ingat yang putih-putih tu cheese...I cakap kat dia tu white chocolate la....oooooo gitu ye mummy - jawab Middle E. Middle E yang tolong I buat brownies ni tau....

Lepas je keluar daripada oven, both of us terus melantak ini brownies...Sedap!!! Esoknya, Eldest & Middle E bawa this brownies ke sekolah...makan dengan kengkawan diaorang...:-))

I memang suka makan brownies....sangat-sangat suka. Kali ni I buat brownies dengan menambahkan Daim chocolate di atas batter brownies.....sedapnya tak terkata...

Brownies + Cookies = BROOKIES



Hi guys.....u all should try this...Awesome babe!!!! Sekali makan nak lagi...nak lagi....nak lagi....tidak menjemukan....sampaikan my Eldest & Middle E asingkan siap2 dalam tupperware masing-masing untuk dibawa ke sekolah....:-))


Brookies
Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon of unsalted butter
  • 2 cups of semisweet chocolate chunks (52-62% cacao)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup of light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

Method

  1. Melt the oil, butter, and 2 cups of the chocolate together in a stainless-steel bowl of a double boiler. Let the mixture cool.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla together until combined.
  3. Fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the flour mixture into the chocolate mixture until combined.
  5. Freeze the batter in a shallow pan for 6 to 8 minutes until the batter sets and hardens slightly.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F at this time.
  7. Scoop the cookie dough into balls and place on baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 11 to 12 minutes until the tops look dry and cracked.
  9. Cool completely for a soft and chewy Brookie.

Classic Brownies


Bila I craving for something ala2 rasa macam coklat tapi bila bikin mesti simple sbb nak cepat ngap....brownies la yang paling mudah nak bikin, malah dengan sebelah mata pun boleh buat...
Rupa paras dah la hitam legam...hitam hitam pun...menawan 'kan...tapi si hitam ni sangat sedap...tak percaya...cubalah!

Classic Brownies Recipe...
Ingredients:
2 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
4 large eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour

Method:
Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare the pan.
Combine the butter, sugar, cocoa, and salt in a medium bowl and set the bowl in a wide skillet of simmering water.
Stir until the butter is melted and the mixture is smooth.
Remove the bowl from the skillet and set aside briefly until the mixture is only warm, not hot.
Stir in the vanilla with a wooden spoon.
Add the eggs one at a time, stirring vigorously after each one. When the batter looks thick, shiny, and well blended, add the flour and stir vigorously for 50 strokes with the wooden spoon or a rubber spatula.
Spread evenly in the lined pan.
Bake until a toothpick comes out clear, 35 to 40 minutes.
Let cool completely.

3Es Espresso Brownies...

I bikin this Brownies gara2 terlihat kat blog kat Kak Rima yang terer baking tu. Secara kebetulan pulak my Eldest E pun tengok sama...dan minta terus I bikin this Brownies....My Eldest E terus makan 3 slice gitu this brownies masak panas2 suam gitu...Middle E pulak makan 2 slice je...Mr E cuma seslice je sbb dia kurang gemar dengan apa2 yang berunsur coklat ni....bukan macam I dan the girls....:-))
Since masa I bikin Brownies, the girls yg bantu I masa baking...Eldest E kasi nama the 3Es Expresso Brownies...layan kan je....

Ingredients :

Adunan Espresso Brownies
230 gr Dark Cooking Chocolate - 70%

115 gr unsalted butter suhu bilik

275 gr powered sugar

5 butir telur , dipukul

2 tspn instant coffee, dilarutkan di sedikit air panas

70 gr plain flour

60 gr cocoa powder - Valrhona

20 gr susu serbuk full cream- I guna milk powder je..


Adunan Keju :

100 gr Cream Cheese, suhu bilik

125 gr butter

2 butir telur

40 gr Tepung

Cara membuat adunan keju ------- > Whisk cream cheese dan butter hingga lembut, masukkan telur satu per satu, sambil dipukul,dan yang terakhir masukkan tepung . Adun hingga rata.


Direction :
1. Pukul butter & gula, till lembut.


2.Pukul telur , masukkan adunan butter ke dalam telur, pukul lagi sehingga sebati.Masukkan instant coffee, kacau rata.


3.Sift tepung, cocoa powder, susu bbk. Masukkan ke dalam adunan telur tadi, kacau rata.

4. Terakhir, tuangkan Dark Cooking Chocolate ke dalam adunan, aduk rata.


5. Masukkan adunan ke pan yang telah siap digris...

6. Bakar dgn suhu 160-165 darjah celcius sekitar 40-50 minitt atau hingga masak.

Steamed Brownies

Sungguh lemak manis dan berkrim dan rasa coklat yang sungguh menggoda jiwa! Resepi ni I cedok daripada negara jiran kita, Indonesia...The resepi ni I copy paste from the original author...dalam bahasa Indonesia...malas nak translate...

Resepi Steamed Brownies...

Bahan A:
12 btr telur
450 gr gula pasir
20 gr emulsifier
1 sdt garam

Bahan B:
75 gr coklat bubuk
300 gr tepung terigu
1 sdt vanilli

Bahan C:
300 gr mentega/margarine
200 gr dark cooking chocolate
1 sdm pasta coklat black forest

Bahan filling :
250 gr coklat meisyes

Cara membuat:

  1. Siapkan loyang kotak ukuran 26x26x8cm, poles mentega dan alasi kertas, poles lagi
  2. Kocok bahan A sampai kental, masukkan bahan B sambil diayak, lalu tuang bahan C, aduk hingga rata benar. Bagi menjadi 3 bagian sama rata.
  3. Tuang satu bagian adonan kedalam loyang, kukus selama lk. 10 menit.
  4. Buka kukusan, taburi 1/2 bagian mesis, tuang lagi satu bagian adonan, kukus lagi.
  5. Lakukan sampai adonan habis.
