The Good Wife 4.5

Excellent departure from formula finds the characters under pressure and against the clock as Lemond Bishop waits to be arrested, and Eli Gold waits for the new scandal to break. Thrilling from start to finish, and all the regulars get a chance to shine. Really love the pairing of Nathan Lane and Matt Czuchry. 10/10

The Good Wife 4.1

Kristen Chenoweth, Nathan Lane. Nice season opener. No one storyline dominates, but all of them hold the spotlight. I particularly enjoyed seeing Alicia and Cary on the same side. 9/10

The Good Wife 3.15

Jonathan Groff. Good case-of-the-week, and a good twist in the ongoing Will story arc. Predictable but nonetheless powerful. 10/10

The Good Wife 3.6

Parker Posey . So-so case-of-the-week with great character stuff. Heartfelt and - often - very funny. The best character/performer here is Cary Agos/Matt Czuchry and he gets all the best moments. But the Eli Gold storyline is just as compelling. And the Alicia/Will scenes are wonderfully layered. Great stuff. 8/10
