Horrible Outrage.
--A little white girl, about fourteen years of age, residing at the upper and of Halifax street, was brutally outraged on Patterson's firm, on the Southern Railroad, a day or two ago, by two negro men. She had repaired to this farm (which we believe lies within the City Corporation) when she was observed by these burns, who took advantage of her helpless condition to accomplish their base and hellish designs, save by an old negro woman, who, of course, could offer no resistance. After almost choking the girl to death, and satisfying their beastly lusts they left her and made their escape. But the poor girl had firmly fixed the features of the rescales in her mind, and took early opportunity to into in officer Prosire of the circumstances, who proceeded in search of the fiends. From the description he received, no arrested on Tuesday night, Jeremiah Temple and Allen Bonner, two notorious free negroes, and lodged them in jail. We understand they have partially submitted the commission of the offence with which they are charged.A preliminary examination will probably be held before the Mayor this morning.--Petersburg Express.
