Death of Major S. L. Findley.

--Major S. L. Findley, Quartermaster C. S. A., died last night, in this city, after an illness of only a few days. He had returned from the headquarters of General Zollicoffer not more than two weeks, when he was prostrated by illness, which was aggravated by a pistol shot wound which he accidentally received in one of his legs. Captain Finley was a lawyer of high standing, and an ardent and efficient friend of Southern independence.-- Nashville Union, 29th.
