Order of march; Cavalry, First, Second, and Third divisions. The cavalry had a skirmish with Wheeler's cavalry.--Weather: Fine.--Road: Good, except the crossing of Buffalo Creek, the bridges of the dam being destroyed.--Supplies: Not so plenty; poor country.--Distance: Eight miles.
