OOTN: New Years Eve

NYE was a fun time. But now its over.... However here is what I wore on the big night to close in the year of 2013.

I wore a white and black cut out dress. It has a high low detail which makes it a little unique. I think the cut outs add a little bit of sexiness to the look without being to over the top.

I paired the look with my blue heels. Also, I layered on two chunky blue statement necklaces to create a lot of texture and to add a pop of color into the look. For makeup I added a bright pink lip to brighten up my lips.

I love how these necklaces look together. They add a lot of different textures and colors to the look. It also fills an empty spot where the dress doesn't have a lot of details.

OOTD: Fur and Stripes

With new additions into my closet from Christmas I have been trying out my new pieces. One of them being my faux fur vest. I paired the vest with one of my favorite striped dresses from Forever 21. My color combination of the maroon, creme and black is a fun winter look.

Having a faux fur vest for the winter is actually really handy. If you are going to be outside layer it under your coat to keep you warm. I recently wore this downtown Chicago (look out for that post!) and it kept me super warm and cozy.

I love wearing maroon in the winter and fall. It's a color but at the same time it is super neutral.

For accessories I included an unique chain and rhinestone necklace, my new watch, and a pair of ballet flats.

{I have been styling my hair like this ever since Christmas. It may be my new signature hair look.}

Fun NYE Accessories!

NYE Accessories
It may be Christmas day but you have to start planning out your NYE ensemble! Lucky for you I picked out some of my favorite bling pieces that would be perfect to wear to count in the new year.

Preppy

1. I am in love with these tear drop earrings. They have a touch of gold accents which makes them stand out from your average pair of earrings. These would be a great small statement to make on the big night.
2. This chunky oversized necklace would work great with a simple dress.
3. A small crystal necklace is also a great option to enhance a sequin look.

Girly

1. A gemmed bracelet is a fun way to play up a dress that may have embellishments at the neck.
2. This bib necklace is super unique and would be fun with a circle skirt and maybe a crop top.
3. A chandelier inspired necklace is perfect for a classic and girly girl.
4. You can never go wrong with a fun statement crystal necklace.

Edgy Glam

1. Mix things up with a bright orange necklace this NYE.
2. A fun chain and rhinestone bracelet will spice up a monochromatic dress.
3. These earrings I feel like are glamours spikes. Trade in your studs and spikes for one night of glamour. These earrings will sure do the trick!
4. This weaved beaded necklace is a cool and unique statement piece to pair with a simple dress.

Have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

Holiday Outfit Ideas: New Years Eve

New Years Eve is the one night a year where you can get dressed up and have a fabulous night. So, take advantage of it and get decked out in sequins, sparkles, and fringe. Don't you want to ring in the new year in a fabulous look?

The typical NYE look is a little...... scandalous if you will. So challenge it! Go for a chic and classic look for your NYE dress this year. Be classy chic this New Years Eve with these NYE outfit ideas.

Kate Spade New Year

Kate spade and the holidays is a perfect combination. These three looks are all classic, chic, but fun for a NYE look.

I love the idea of a red romper for NYE. It is a nice change from the traditional dress.
A red sequin dress is a great idea for a NYE look. The red will make you pop out in the crowd. It is not only bold but chic.
This silver dress is super sweet. The caped sleeve is a nice change from the usual flashy NYE dress. But you still have a nice shine with this sheen fabric.

This blue dress is so Gatsby! I love the fringe detail on the bottom. It's a great option for a fun change this NYE.

I am in love with this classic black and white dress. The drop waist is a unique silhouette and is super classy and chic.

Anthropologie NYE dresses

Anthropologie has some super gorgeous dresses on their site right now!

Forever 21 has some fabulous party dresses right now! Full of sequins, shine, and unique cut outs.
