Road Trip Scrapbook Layout

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I want to share a scrapbook layout I created for an album I am working on about our Road Trip in 2013.

I have had this map paper for a long time, and I thought it was the best paper for this Road trip layout.

The letters that I used for the title are cork letters, which I think look really good with the terrain.

Thanks for stopping by.  Please leave me a comment.

Bitten By The Bug 2- Let's Get Outdoors

Hello Crafty Friends,

We have a new challenge at Bitten By the Bug 2- Let's Get outside.  I decided to use this theme to scrapbook a layout from our trip to Sea World back in 2018.

I used the svg cut files from Miss Kate's Cuttables to make the title and the dolphins.
The paper pack is from Echo Park, which I used for all the pattern pieces across the bottom of the layout and the circle on the left side of the layout.

Here is a close up of the title.

Here is a close up of my journal page.

I used cardstock I had on hand to mat the pictures and to create the journal box in the top right corner.

I hope you will join the challenge this week and show us your Outdoor activities.  You can click here to join.

Thank you for stopping by.  Please leave me a comment.

Pixar Parade Layout

Hello Crafty Friends,

As you know, I have been working on my Disney album.  So, today I have a layout to share with you.

I used The Best of Pixar and Cars Cricut cartridges to cut the images.  A little secret, I use stickers for Mater and Lightning McQueen because those were going to be small pieces.  I will cut out bigger ones for another layout.

Hello Crafty Friends,

Have you ever bought a stamp set because you thought it was cute, but you have never used it?  Today I want to share that stamp with you.

The stamp set is Always S'more.  I thought this was the cutest stamp set, but never really found a time to use it.  Well, good news!  Tomorrow is Smores Day!  What a perfect time to use this cute set.

I used the Hazelnut Blend ink to give the marshmallows the "toasty" look.

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Always S'more
Paper: Oatmeal Cookie Cardstock, Hazelnut Blend Cardstock, Butter Cream Cardstock
Ink: Hazelnut Blend, Black Licorice

7/11/18

Hello Crafty Friends,

I hope you are doing well.  We are finally on the downward side of our heat wave in So Cal.  It has been unbearably hot here, which makes it hard for me to want to create.  What is your ideal weather to create in?

Today I want to share a masculine card I created for my last class.

To make the chevron at the bottom of the card, I used the chevron die from the Border Details die set and die cut the top layer of Oatmeal Cookie Cardstock, by slipping the layer through the die.  This way, it did not cut it across the bottom, but only cut the chevron.  I then added some pattern paper behind the cut out.

I am loving this truck stamp set.  You will be seeing some more of it in the future.

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Hit the Road
Paper: Oatmeal Cookie Cardstock,  Butter Cream Cardstock, Candy Apple Cardstock
Ink: Black Licorice, Dark Roast, Rock Candy, Beach Breeze
Dies: Border Details
Accessories: Natural Journey Twine, Lemon Sparkle Tape
