Tutu Tuesday

Tutu : I can't believe Mommy let Boomer drool all over this silvervine P-Low. How am I going to play with it now?
Tutu : I'll show Boomer I can still have fun with the silvervine P-Low without having to touch it!
Tutu : See? I'm having fun without touching the yucky drooled on P-low!
* G R A B *
Tutu : Oh, YUCK!
Tutu : Whew. That was close call! Mmmmmm. That sure was nice!
Tutu : Darn!  I can't stop wondering....what if? WHAT IF the silvervine P-Low DOES taste better if I sunk my teeth into it? How will I ever know?
Boomer : Yes, Tutu, it DOES taste much much nicer but you'll never know will you? Hahaha
Tutu : Drat. *sniff sniff* How bad will it be if I took a little nibble on the P-low?
* B I T E *
* BITE KICK BITE KICK BITE*
Where are you off too, Tutu?
Tutu : I've some unfinished business to attend to
Tutu : NEXT TIME DON'T DROOL ON THE P-LOWS!
Tutu : Look what Auntie Paula, Mom to Twinkletail Toes found while shopping! Now, that's something everyone knows, right? Heehee. Thank you for sending us the picture, Auntie Paula! It sure made MY day!
Tutu : Angel Whisky visited Nellie and her Mom in their dreams recently and they immediately made a graphic of how she looked like when she visited and sent it to Mommy. Doesn't she look so happy and beautiful with her Angel Wings? Thank you so much, Nellie and Mommy!

Mommy here : The love and support I have received from our blogging furriends at the recent passing of Whisky and Pok have really touched my heart and have been a real source of comfort. I can never thank you enough for your friendship.  :)

Thank You For Your Words Of Comfort

Tutu : That's right, Daddy. Break up the chicken jerky into smaller pieces so Whisky can eat it easily
Daddy : Is this size okay?
Tutu : Yup, looks good! Now, please give it to Whisky

During Whisky's final weeks, Tutu was always close by, watching over her big sisfur. It warmed my heart to see that. Today marks exactly a week since Whisky and Pok flew to the Bridge.

Whisky's final resting place
We miss our beautiful Princess but are grateful to have had so many wonderful years together and the opportunity to create lasting memories of our time together. I can't say that the cats have shown outwardly signs of missing their woofie sisfur. However, I think they do sense the sadness at home and responded to that by comforting me in their own way.

We miss Pok's wheeking when it's time for treats. He was always so enthusiastic about his food and treats. We can just picture him wheeking happily at the sight of the "all-you-can-eat" treat buffet at the Rainbow Bridge!  :)

We would like to thank everyone who came and left kind words of comfort on our double loss of Whisky and Pok last week. Words can never describe how much your support meant to us during this very difficult time. THANK YOU.

And Thank You Ann, for the beautiful graphics of Whisky and Pok.

Good Bye, Whisky and Pok

Whisky (photo taken May 2, 2014). Daddy was feeding her a piece of chicken jerky
February 18, 2000 - May 5, 2014
Whisky ran for the Bridge this evening, May 5, 2014 at 1934 hours (GMT +8). She was in my arms as she transitioned, with Daddy next to us. She ran on her own terms, and for that we are grateful.

Pok, our guinea pig (December 19, 2007 - May 5, 2014) also chose to run to the Bridge today, at 1549 hours. He, too was in my arms with Daddy next to us as he transitioned. We buried him with his brofur pig, Curly (March 20, 2007 - October 6, 2013).

It has been a very difficult day but we are truly grateful that both Whisky and Pok chose THEIR time to run to the Bridge and allowed us the opportunity to hold them as their transitioned.

Our Special Guest Is Here!

Whisky : She should be here by now...but where is she?
Nellie has been feeling rather ignored at home since Jo-Jo joined the family so she decided to go visiting. And since she loves hot weather, we told her she HAD to come here! It was a long trip to Malaysia but Nellie finally arrived! We were a little surprised she landed just outside our catio and it gave Meow-Me a little shock. But we got over our surprise and welcomed our guest in after Whisky gave her a little garden tour on a bright sunny day
The Cats From Hell share a hellish joke which made Tutu so happy it got her tail thumping!
Boomer : We introduced Mr Rat to Nellie and she wasted no time showing him who's boss!
Meow-Me : Nellie asked how we travelled so we showed her our super sized tunnel that can teleport ALL of us in one go. We can even enjoy some tussling action while we teleport! Nellie was furry impressed and said she may have to consider getting one so Bob can join her on her travels
Curly and Pok weren't sure what to think of our guest so Curly decided some water was needed to calm his nerves while Pok gave Nellie the stink eye
Cosmo : Nellie was a little tired when evening came so we kept her company while we waited for dinner
Nellie : After the Whisppy's Mommy gave us dinner, I spent time with Whisky, chatting about how it's like being an elderly pet with young furblings. Then we settled down for a snooze on her comfy bed before I left on another long trip to visit a special Bun!
Thank you for visiting us, Nellie! We had such a wonderful time, we hope you will visit us again one day. Have a safe trip to England!

Please visit Nellie's blog to read more about our visit together!

Tortie Tuesday

YUM!
I really love leafy greens
Even better if it's a young green!
How about a carrot?
Blarrgh...it's not green!
That's more like it
Think Green, EAT Green! Yeahhhhhhh!
Curly & Pok : Wheek! That's supposed to be ours!
Pok : We don't eat YOUR kibbles. So stop eating OUR greens!
Mommy here :

Tutu will be going for her spay surgery tomorrow, Wednesday (August 8th). Time sure flies - she's 6.5 months old! While I'm sure she'll do fine, we'll sure appreciate some purrs for a smooth surgery and quick recovery.  :)

Boomerang Meets The Pigs

I let Boomerang into the boarding area once in a while so he can play with Meow-Me, Coco and Felix.  On this day, he finally discovered the pigs.....

WHOA!!!  Check out the size of my dinner!  *yummy*

Hmm...This one looks nice and plump and juicy....

"Come here little juicy piggy....".  Admiral My Love, you won't need those pills once you see what I got for you! (Do you see the heart shape on my muscular arm?  That's for YOU, Sweetheart!)

Unggghhh.....drat!  Missed again!

"No pigs were harmed in this photo taking session".  :)
