Woodn't it be Lovely?

Woodn't it be Lovely?

Hallo Everyone!

lHere we go with another
look at the those little wooden
embellishments from
Kaisercraft........oops!  I
think they call them flourishes!

Angela Radford is with us
today to show us another way
..............

"Hi everyone, Angela here to
show you what fun I have been
having with PaperArtsy stamps,
Color Bloom sprays and
of course the Kaisercraft Flourishes

started by stamping onto plain white
card with perfect medium ink and heat
embossing with clear powder then using the
Colour Bloom sprays I added colour to
the card.

I continued to spray a variety of colours
onto the card and then allowed it to dry
adding more heat embossed images too.

The next thing was to stamp the chosen
images onto the card and then cut these out.

To prepare the card blank I folded the front
section in half to create a Tri-fold type card.
Then attached a coloured card to the
front and inner sections.

For this background paper I simply sprayed
the Colour Bloom onto my craft mat and
pushed the card through it.

Let this dry and then using the same ink
I applied it through a Tim Holtz stencil.

Once this was dry I cut it to the correct size and
layered it onto the card. I also added some
stamping using a Carabelle stamp called
Circles and Text to add a little more interest
to the background.

Here you can see what it looks like on the
inside and the gprgeous shine from the ink.

Now I stamped the sentiment and
 began adding the images.

Here we are a little further on.
The large flower was cut and trimmed
with other sections added to it including
 the leaves.

Also prepared the Kaisercraft embellishments
I planned to use by colouring them with
 the Colour Blooms.

Once everything was ready I was able to finish
mounting all the images and embellishments.

Completed the design with the addition of
 Stickles Glitter Glue.

Hope you enjoyed watching me
make this card.

Happy crafting, Angela xXx"

Supplies:

Thank you Angela, always a
pleasure watching your creations
come to life!

Well, I think I'm beginning to get
some idea on what to do with
the Kaisercraft Flourishes.  One
tray could go a long way.......

'Till Tomorrow

Happy Christmas

Happy Christmas

Hallo Everyone!

Here's a versatile wreath you can keep
from one year to the next or make as
a gift.  Brought to us by

Louise Thomson

Well it really isn’t long until Christmas will be upon us
and so I wanted to share a project that
could be used as a card or a decoration.

Start by smooshing a selection of distress inks
across a non -stick craft mat.
I used ripe persimmon, fired brick and seedless preserves.
Spritz this all over with water.

Press a sheet of white 12”x12”paper in to the ink
and repeat a few times as desired to get a
good coverage and colour on your paper.

Use the tattered florals die to cut as many flowers
from your sheet as possible.
With a bit of jiggery pokery you should be able to get quite a few!

Spritz the flowers with colour bloom to give them a lovely gold shimmer.

Use alchemy wax applied with your finger to add more gold highlights.

Place each floral component in the palm of your hand
and run the back of your thumbnail along each petal
to give them a slight curve.
Layer them together in twos or threes,
fixing them with 3D foam mount pads

Arrange the flowers in to a wreath and stick down.

Coat a piece of white card in antique linen distress ink
and add highlights using tattered rose.
Run the card through a die cutting machine
with a woodgrain effect embossing folder
then add a layer of ground espresso ink
to highlight the texture.

On a rectangle of white card, stamp and emboss
a Chirstmas greeting using gold embossing powder.
Ink up with more antique linen distress ink
then stamp the vine around the edge in
antique linen to give subtle detailing.

Layer the components together and finish
with a dot of gold stickles glitter in the centre of each flower.

Happy Christmas!

Materials used;
Distress inks– ripe persimmon, fired brick, seedless preserves

A lovely wreath Louise and the flowers
and sentiment would also make a lovely card.

Thank you very much

That's me off to make my wreath
See you all tomorrow

Red and Gold

Red and Gold

Morning!!

At least I hope it is wherever
you are

Continuing our opulent theme
what is it about these colours?
Fabulous, rich, warm......

What was I saying?  Oh yes
Continuing our opulent theme
is Hazel Harler with another
beautiful card

I used a white 8" x 6" card blank

The first thing to do is spray some red card with gold foil Color Bloom

Then cover it with cling film -
scrunch up the film and let it dry.

Remove the cling film and your card should look something like this

I used red card, gold miri card and the red and gold card for my layers.

I stamped the Woodware festive background onto white card
with black archival ink and I edged the card with a black pen

I die cut two Memory Box baubles with the red and gold card and gold miri card.

I glued the two baubles together back to back as it's going to dangle on the card.

I matted all the layers together and attached the bauble with some gold cord.

The red roses were made using a Tim Holtz tiny tattered flowers Thinlits die

A close up of the flowers.

Items used.

Beautiful Hazel
Thank you very much

Of course, without the Christmas layer
this card would be fabulous for anyone
celebrating a Ruby Wedding

See you all tomorrow
